Age 10 - Timeskip four years
In the heart of the Phenex territory, a rare occasion was unfolding one not seen since the days of Ruval receiving his own evil pieces.
The Great Solar Hall, carved from obsidian and set beneath an enchanted sky that mimicked the sun's unyielding fire, pulsed with living flame. The grand chamber, used only for the most sacred family rites, now welcomed a guest whose presence sent ripples through the nobility
Ajuka Astaroth now Beelzebub one of the Four Maou, genius inventor of the Evil Piece system, and Supreme Lord of Magical Theory.
The air shimmered around him as he stood before the younger son of the Phenex clan. His emerald eyes, calm and calculating, gazed at the ten year old boy standing tall at the center of the ritual circle.
Riser Phenex.
With hair like wild golden silk and a body already towering at five foot eight, Riser looked like something plucked from legend. Chiseled physique, skin kissed with divine warmth, and eyes like twin suns burning with focused intent.
Even Ajuka, whose mind calculated billions of variables in a moment, found himself curious.
"You've grown quite impressively," Ajuka mused, his voice smooth, scientific, but not unkind. "Few children possess the magical density to attract my personal interest. Fewer still ever awaken two mutation signatures when going to receive their Evil Pieces. Once implanted I wonder if you will have that potential."
Riser bowed slightly, never breaking eye contact. "It's an honor, Lord Beelzebub."
Ajuka studied him a moment longer. Then, with a wave of his hand, a crystal case appeared before them fifteen glowing chess pieces forged in Demonic energy shining with a ethereal glow. Each piece hovered slightly above its place, humming with restrained power.
"Then let us begin."
The Ceremony a rite of passage for any young High class devil looking to step into their on path in life
Ajuka placed his hand over the chessboard and began to chant. Sigils spun into existence, forming concentric rings of glowing language above the circle.
Riser stepped forward. The moment his foot touched the center of the spell, the flames reacted igniting a golden then pale whiteish blue, responding to his soul like a symphony tuning to its conductor.
One by one, the Evil Pieces floated toward him, spinning slowly.
When the first Queen piece entered his chest, it pulsed violently then mutated. The smooth lines twisted into something angular, more refined. Ajuka's brows rose ever so slightly.
Then a knight sleek and honed mutated mid-air, catching fire before merging into Riser's core.
And then each other piece ignited in brilliant flame. The energy it radiated was staggering imposing, but harmonious. It morphed into a more potent form, pulsing with golden veins before sinking into his heart.
Two mutations.
Ajuka remained silent for a moment, digesting the data only he could fully comprehend.
"Well now," he murmured. " How Fascinating your journey will be."
Ajuka's Insight
After the ritual, Ajuka stood before the Phenex family Lord Phenex, Lady Phenex, Ruval, and the gathered Elders of the Phenex clan.
"This boy," Ajuka began, voice calm but resonant, "is unlike any I've recorded in the last generations of young Heirs. Two mutations naturally drawn by his magical core. Each one perfectly compatible. His soul radiates such intensity that I suspect further evolution may be possible."
Ruval stood beside his brother, eyes proud. "Is this dangerous?"
Ajuka shook his head. "Not dangerous. Exceptional. But expectations will follow him now. You've not merely birthed a prodigy, Lord Phenex. You've birthed a symbol for your family."
Lord Phenex inclined his head respectfully. "And we shall forge him into one worthy of that weight."
Riser said nothing. But inside, he acknowledged the beginning of the path he had long expected one lined with both fire and shadow.
With riser power and the Phenex family strength risings, so has the Gremory's family ever Watchful Eye
Far from the Phenex homeland, in the ancestral estate of the Gremory clan, Zeoticus Gremory poured over the magical documentation Ajuka had released sanitized reports of mutation rates, magical resonance, and development potential.
Two mutation pieces at age ten.
Bright gold eyes. Advanced flame manipulation. High-speed regeneration. Exceptional intelligence and emotional maturity.
A natural born high class devil before even forming a peerage.
Beside him, Lady Venelana traced a finger along the edge of a wine glass. "And yet he trains in seclusion. No public displays. No tournaments. Curious, isn't it?"
Lord Zeoticus smiled faintly. "A quiet storm. That's more dangerous than a loud one."
He tapped the parchment once.
"It's time we initiate the first steps of the contract."
Venelana tilted her head. "You're certain?"
"If we don't," Zeoticus said, "another family will."
While pieces were being move one thing continued to be certain, A younger Sister's Warmth
That evening, Riser sat on the garden balcony with little Ravel, who had just turned four.
She clung to him like a hatchling seeking warmth, her delicate blonde hair glinting in the moonlight. In her hands was a bird made of flame soft, golden fire that danced without burning.
"You're really gonna be the strongest Phenex to rise in our family, huh?" she whispered, eyes wide.
Riser laughed gently, wrapping an arm around her. "I'm going to make sure no one ever hurts you, Ravel. That's my real goal."
She giggled and leaned into him. "Promise?"
"I swear it."
Rise continued his training, the Fire in Solitude hasn't finished burning
Alone later that night, in the sacred training chamber deep beneath the Phenex estate, Riser stood shirtless before a pool of molten glass. His body reflected perfectly muscular, glowing faintly with internal flame.
He lifted a hand. Whiteish blue fire ignited from his palm, dancing across his shoulders and hair like a sun wreath. He floated a few inches above the ground, cloak of flame carrying him upward.
Only his father watched, from the shadows.
"You're getting stronger," Lord Phenex said. "Soon, you'll outpace even you're own father."
Riser looked ahead, golden eyes hard. "It's not enough yet. There's more I need to become."
His father stepped forward. "Then we will go further. But remember, Riser power means nothing without control. It must seem like I am repeating myself son, But Discipline is the only thing that separates gods from monsters."
Riser nodded.
He knew. He remembered.
And this time, he would be both cause only a monster can dismantle a god.
