The next day, Nihom held a meeting with the three of them in a corner of the field. Dihan asked Nihom what had happened and why they had been called. Nihom said, "I thought we should go to the landlord's house again." No one agreed. Nihom explained, "Hey, since it's the place, Rabiul Bhai, then there's no problem going there." Hafiz objected because he thought it would be wrong to go to someone's land without informing him. Tamim said, "That's right, but we can go there once. Let's go and see what that infamous house is like." Hafiz heard Tamim's words and said, "Yes, now the hero inside is coming out. When you know that someone is starting to live there." While these things were being discussed, Abid Uncle called. Nihom was very happy to see him. Seeing us, he said, "What's the matter? What are the four of you doing here?"
Tamim-"Uncle, see, we are going to the landlord's house in the jungle to see, but I don't know why this Hafiz is acting like this."
Hafiz-"You should be quiet. Besides, it's not right to go to their house without anyone's presence."
Abid was surprised to hear this and said, "Why would you go there? It's been in a dilapidated condition for decades. And the owner of that place left the house right then."
Dihan-"What do you say, uncle? But isn't Rabiul brother the owner of that land?"
Abid-"Rabiul! Why would Rabiul be the owner of the land? Who told you?"
Nihom-"Rabiul brother told us."
Abid-"What do you say? If that were the case, I would have known. Because it takes a lot of legal work to take ownership of something abandoned. Then everyone in this village, including me, would have known."
Everyone was surprised to hear this. Does that mean Rabiul brother lied to them. But why? What could be the reason for them lying? They were thinking about these things. Meanwhile, Abid was late for his work, so he left. Nihom understood the situation and asked them to think about Rabiul Bhai's lies. Why did he lie to us? Hafiz said to cool the atmosphere, "Maybe he told us to leave." Nihom disagreed and said, "Then he shouldn't have lied. We never disobeyed him."
Dihan-"Okay then, let's go to the jungle. Let's go and see what the real secret is."
Nihom was ready but Tamim was starting a drama again. He couldn't go because he didn't feel right. Hafiz said to Tamim in a somewhat humorous tone, "Is all the heroism over?" Tamim angrily told him to be quiet. Dihan agreed to go there. Both of them finally agreed. Everyone set off towards the jungle again. On the road, Hafiz asked Nihom, "Tell me what happened? You seem to be restless." Nihom said, "Don't talk much, just walk." Hafiz also didn't say much. Hafiz could guess that Nihom was hiding something. Everyone reached the landlord's house. Dihan said to Hafiz, "Can we go inside now? Is there anything else to say?" Hafiz remained silent and didn't say anything. Dihan was ready to break the window. He finally broke it with a stone from the side.
The four of them entered the house one by one through the window. The house is quite old from the inside but surprisingly it is quite clean compared to the previous house. But why? This is the question for everyone. Dihan stepped forward to investigate. When I saw him, the rest of the people also stepped forward. There was a strange smell coming from the second floor. Nihom said, "Doesn't it smell a bit like blood?" Dihan disagreed and said, "Nihom, how do you know?" "Because, my father has a farm and a butcher and a shop. You know. That's why I can tell you what blood smells like." Nihom said. Tamim was trembling with fear.
Hafiz-"Brother, when you are so scared, why did you come here?"
Dihan-"You two stay quiet. First of all, Nihom, are you sure that this is the smell of blood?"
Nihom-"I am 100% sure."
Tamim-"Is there a monster or a ghost here?"
Hafiz told Tamim to be quiet. No one could understand what was going on here. They couldn't stay much longer. They left the house quickly. On their way back, Dihan saw a shadow in one of the last rooms. He didn't say anything to anyone. They went out and met Rabiul in the jungle. They ran even faster in fear when they saw Rabiul. They ran through the jungle in one go. When Dihan came out, he said, "What is Rabiul brother doing there?" Tamim said, "He won't stay on his land." Nihom said angrily, "Oh, you fool, that's not his land."
Hafiz-"Well, did you notice that Rabiul brother was angry? Can anyone tell me why?"
Rabiul doesn't show anger often. Especially not towards children. They were students of the tenth grade. Such anger from a calm person is quite unusual. Hafiz advised them to go home and calm down and think about something later.
