Stay little longer

Asher returns to his hometown for his father’s funeral, years after being exiled for being gay. There, he reconnects with his caring stepmother and distant stepbrother, Adrian, his childhood friend. Despite unresolved tension, Asher stays longer, struggling with the pain of a recent breakup and past betrayal by Adrian. After a night of heavy drinking, they share an intimate encounter, which Asher regrets. Adrian, emotionally distant, retreats to an island, where Asher follows him to apologize. As their bond grows, Asher uncovers dark secrets—his father’s death was not accidental, and Adrian was tortured by their father for being gay. The investigation reveals that their mother orchestrated everything, and Adrian takes the fall to protect her. After their mother’s confession and suicide, Adrian is released from jail, and Asher, still in love, offers to spend his life with him. The story ends ambiguously as Adrian faces the choice to stay or leave with Asher.
