Chapter 27 - Unexpected someone

Lin Feng's fingers ached as he dug into the stone wall, but he didn't stop. He had to escape, no matter what. The scratching sound had grown louder, and he knew that someone was trying to help him.

As he dug, the stone began to crumble, and Lin Feng's fingers broke through to the other side. He pulled out his hand, covered in dust and debris, and peered through the small hole.

On the other side, he saw a figure, digging from their side. The figure looked up, and Lin Feng saw a pair of familiar eyes.

"Elder Yue?" he whispered, his voice barely audible.

Elder Yue's eyes locked onto his, and she nodded. "I'm here, my lord," she said. "I've been trying to find a way to reach you."

Lin Feng's heart swelled with gratitude. "How did you find me?" he asked.

Elder Yue's face was covered in dust, but her eyes shone with determination. "I've been tracking the Crimson's movements," she said. "I knew they had to be holding you somewhere close."

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed. "Let's get out of here," he said.

Together, they dug and scraped, enlarging the hole until it was big enough for Lin Feng to squeeze through. As he emerged on the other side, Elder Yue grabbed his arm, her eyes scanning the surrounding area.

"We need to move fast," she said. "The Crimson will be looking for us."

Lin Feng nodded, his eyes locked onto Elder Yue's. "Thank you," he said. "I owe you one."

Elder Yue smiled, her face still covered in dust. "You don't owe me anything, my lord," she said. "I'm just glad I could help."

As they moved through the dark corridors, Lin Feng's senses were on high alert. He knew that the Crimson would be waiting for them, and he had to be ready.

But with Elder Yue by his side, he felt a sense of confidence that he hadn't felt in a long time. Together, they would take down the Crimson and bring them to justice.

As they turned a corner, Lin Feng heard the sound of footsteps coming from ahead. He drew his sword, ready for battle.

But as the figures came into view, Lin Feng's eyes widened in surprise. It was a group of martial artists, but they weren't wearing the Crimson's symbol.

"Who are you?" Lin Feng asked, his sword still at the ready.

The leader of the group, a tall, imposing man with a scar above his left eyebrow, stepped forward. "We're the ones who've been watching you, Lin Feng," he said. "We've been waiting for the right moment to make our move."

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed. "What do you want?" he asked.

The man's eyes locked onto his. "We want to join forces with you," he said. "We want to take down the Crimson and bring them to justice."

Lin Feng's face twisted in surprise. "Why?" he asked.

The man's face twisted in anger. "Because the Crimson has been terrorizing our village for years," he said. "We've lost loved ones, friends, and family members. It's time someone stopped them."

Lin Feng's eyes locked onto the man's. "I'm listening," he said. "Tell me more."

The man nodded, and Lin Feng listened as he told his story. A story of pain, suffering, and loss. A story that made Lin Feng's determination grow stronger.

With newfound allies, Lin Feng knew that he had a chance to take down the Crimson and bring them to justice. And he was ready to do whatever it took to make it happen.
