Something that he placed in such a high regard that he had left no stones unturned to kill Fan Lin when he realised his actual nature, which pairing with his 'expertise' made him a danger that shouldn't be allowed to prosper into the future.
But before this and without any qualms, he had seen Fan Lin as the perfect tool to reign in the world to his bidding. He just needed to trim and train the grassling into what he desired.
Qiangu Dongfeng wanted to make Fan Lin the 'hidden weapon' that would become the symbol of authority of the Spirit Pagoda when its reaches its true heights, serving as his voice.
Therefore, he had caricatured Fan Lin's past to the shreds, despite it being nothing special to those unknown and extremely terrifying to the ones who did.
There was just one record of Fan Lin's actual self and doings in the entirety of the world and that was with him, safe in his private home and known to none... or maybe Fan Lin knew that.
Fan Lin's past, the past that he only knows, was going to be known to him only. That won't change.
And this lead us to Leng Yaozhu who was searching the entire Pagoda Headquarters to find anything on Fan Lin that wasn't vaguely known already.
But Leng Yaozhu was Leng Yaozhu and once she started to stop any inhibitions and went full suspicion mode, not seeing Fan Lin as a child but an adult, she realised that she might be going insane to reach the conclusions that she had.

From the info she had gathered, Fan Lin was from Glorybound town and had left for the Eastsea Academy around the time the Glorybound Massacre happened.
Then he went to the Eastsea Academy and spent the next two years there before suddenly leaving for the Shining Moon Academy by the recommendation of the Northern Alliance President.
He had spent most of his year in the Skyorder Spirit Pagoda's Spirit Ascension platform where he was encroached by the Spirit Pagoda but had refused on the accounts that he had joined the Tang Sect which was a lie.
Next year, he participated in the Shrek's Academy's entrance exams, got in and and then came to the Spirit Pagoda to get a spirit soul.
Then Qiangu Dongfeng suddenly comes into the story. After around three months of Fan Lin's time in Shrek, he had visited the Spirit Pagoda with Qiangu Dongfeng's secretary personally going there to get him. The purpose for that visit still remains unknown but after that, Fan Lin had became a regular and had an unverbal access to many exclusive facilities and services that he shouldn't have because Fan Lin had the not joined the Spirit Pagoda. He was an outsider.
This was the time when the rumours and speculations began to emerge as Fan Lin spent more of his time in the Spirit Pagoda than the Shrek Academy. Add to the fact that the Qiangu Dongfeng was making him a Battle Armour from Spirit Pagoda's resources, everyone was sure that Fan Lin wasn't just any random genius from Shrek that Qiangu Dongfeng had taken a liking too, things might be deeper than it looked.
Leng Yaozhu looked at the last visitation date of Fan Lin, her mind erupting with thoughts.
That was also the day the biggest massacre by the Holy Spirit cult happened.
According to the information, that was also the day of his grade 1 examinations that would go on for 15 days.
Fan Lin had completed his exams within a three hours and then had spent the rest of his day in the Spirit Pagoda and with Qiangu Dongfeng until he left at 2 in the morning the next day and after that he never came. Only the news came that he had joined the Tang Sect and Qiangu Dongfeng had officially granted him the same benefits as an Elder in the Spirit Pagoda, in some cases, even more than them.
From then till now, none of Fan Lin's privileges in the Spirit Pagoda had been revoked but many more had been added, the latest of which was having access to the spirit soul vault and it was added just a month ago. There was information on why though.
She noted it and added it to the list of things that she would have to ask Elder Cai. She must have the information that she was missing. This marked the end of the information that she had on him and it still didn't clear away her doubts but even added more ground to it.
Qiangu Dongfeng was likely the one behind the massacres. He was also related to Holy Spirit Cult in one way or another.
With the support of Qiangu Dongfeng and the manpower of Holy Spirit Cult, it wasn't that hard to kill a town and then threw it under the rug in the name of investigation. When everyone was involved, nothing would be found out. This felt quite true since the ones who did the massacres were never caught.
The only reason this was a speculation was because the massacres included people that worked for the Pagoda and the Pagoda had suffered huge losses due to their deaths. Every wave of massacre had been a bad news for the Spirit Pagoda.
Therefore, if Qiangu Dongfeng was truly behind it, why would he target himself?
Briefing this on a later date, her third speculation was even more unbelievable.
The ones who did the Glorybound Massacre, most probably the Holy Spirit Cult, was related to Fan Lin and this might have been found out by Qiangu Dongfeng and they were in a cooperative partnership with Fan Lin acting as the envoy of the Holy Spirit Cult.
Leng Yaozhu still remembers the tone Fan Lin had used while talking to Qiangu Dongfeng. She was sure even his father didn't talk to him like that.

The Glorybound massacre happened around the time Fan Lin left the Glorybound city.
The next few massacres also happened during the time of academy holidays, one or twice per year. No attacks happened while he was busy in the Skyorder Spirit Pagoda but the moment he left for Shrek, there was another attack and then a year after he joined Shrek, there was another attack.
Add in his enormous wealth that was never explained, it did seem plausible for him to be funded by the Holy Spirit Cult.
But the problem arises exactly due to this as well. With the amount of wealth that Fan Lin have spent, Holy Spirit Cult might have to be extremely rich to be able to afford his extravagant spendings. But if they had that level of funding, they would have used it in various other more effective ways. The Evil Soul Masters weren't financially stupid.
And Leng Yaozhu refused to believe that the Holy Spirit Cult would allow Fan Lin to spend nearly three billion federal credits on Cai Yun's whimsical punishments.
Three Billion federal credits. That was a sum that even Qiangu Dongfeng would feel pained to spend at once, much less the Holy Spirit Cult.
As for her first speculation that Fan Lin was the killer, she needed to get the Shrek's side of the information to come to a concrete conclusion.
