The rest of the day went by pretty fast, Issei started doing contracts to raise his status, or something like that.
One of the more interesting customers was this man Mil-tan, who was as big as Jinrang, but he was into magical girls so the intimidation factor was thrown out of the window.
Sadly, Issei didn't get any contracts, but the people who requested something from him all said they were satisfied with Issei, which confused Rias.
The next day.
Jinrang arrived at the club, just to see Rias giving Issei a lecture, he went near a church.
'IS THIS IT?!' Jinrang nearly jumped with joy.
"What's going on Rias? Why're you scolding him?" He inquired.
"It's because he got in contact with a nun, and got dangerously close to a church."
"Ah, I see but that church has been abandoned for a pretty long time, I think it's a bit suspicious, y'know?"
Rias thought about his words, and came to a conclusion.
"You're right, it does sound suspicious, Jinrang can you go and check it out? No one knows of your connection to us. you're the best man for this, though if you feel as if something is off retreat Immediately."
"I'll go right now." Jinrang turned and rushed out of the room a bit too quickly.
'Weird, was he after that the whole time? I see Souna's point now, such a sharp mind but his lack of energy overshadows it, what a troublesome boy.' Rias thought before turning his attention back to Issei.
"Listen, Issei going near a church is extremely dangerous, it could risk war between factions and that obviously won't end well."
"I-I understand president." He said meekly,
Not meeting her eyes.
"I'm sorry, I was harsh but you have to understand my position as well." Rias patted him on the shoulder.
With Jinrang.
'Please be there, please be there, please be there.' Jinrang prayed in his heart, he was hoping every fallen angel, and even that priest who were there.
He arrived at the church and went in without a care in the world.
Inside the church, there were a lot of priests, and the one he was looking for was here as well.
The stray exorcist Freed, he seemed to be communicating with who he assumed to be Asia Argento, though after seeing Jinrang, the exorcist turned all his attention towards him.
"Hello there, have you come to pray?" The exorcist questioned with a smile.
Jinrang looked around the place, looking for the fallen angels, sadly they weren't here yet.
"No, this church has been abandoned for a while, so I decided to come see the new residents."
"I see, I see well this church is gonna receive more attention and, plans to renovate it are being discussed, we're here to further inspect this place."
The yellow-haired girl fidgeted behind him as she appeared guilty, the lies spewing out of Freed's mouth clearly made her uncomfortable.
'What a good actor, if i didn't who he was I definetly would have fallen for it.' Jinrang thought to himself.
"Alright then, I'm glad this place is going to be taken care of. It would be a shame if this church collapsed."
Jinrang bid farewell and left, and went back to Rias to give a status report, he briefly mentioned his suspicion of the priests and fallen angles working together.
'That should do it.' Jinrang thought.
'If it goes well,the only thing I'll have to do is wait for their call and then I'll get to see what the fallens are all about.' Jinrang thought as smirk crawled up his face.
Later that night he got a call from Akeno.
"Jinrang? Can you come to the clubhouse? You were right, the fallen angels are indeed working with the stray exorcists".
"I'm on my way."
'That soon? Rias does work fast, how nice.' He thought and quickly threw on a shirt some pants and ran to his destination.
He was the last to arrive everyone's eyes turned to him as he opened the door.
"What's the plan?" He didn't waste time and immediately started asking the real questions.
"Currently, we didn't come up with one yet, we were waiting for you." Rias answered.
"Perfect, here's a plan me, Issei, and Kiba will go in, destroy it from the inside. You and Akeno take care of the rest." Jinrang suggested, one could easily notice the excitement in his tone and how his eyes seemed to light up.
"I can't help but notice, you seem to be eager to do this, Why's that?" Kiba noticed.
Jinrang turned to the knight, "I'm itching for a fight, plain and simple."
"Delinquent." Koneko called out from behind.
"Indeed, your image and thoughts fit properly now." Akeno spoke with a giggle.
"That was uncalled for." The delinquent in question spoke blankly.
"It's a decent plan, fallen angels won't be able to escape from indoors via flight, and since all three of you are close-quarters combatants it will be much easier to fight on the ground, we will be the backup in case they escape."
Rias explained.
"W-wow,I didn't know you were so smart Jinrang." Issei spoke for the first time since his arrival.
"I have my moments." He answered, before he grabbed his shoulder, "Anyways, you ready?"
"H-huh?! We're going now?!" Issei questioned.
Rias sighed, "Fine, we'll do this tonight, the sooner the better."
She got up and moved to the center of the room,
"I'll teleport us there."
'Finally, we're doing this.' Jinrang was excited.
Normally, he wouldn't be this excited about fighting, but something inside pushed these feelings out, the desire to test himself, the desire to fight.
In the moonlight, the group appeared some distance away from the church.
"Alright, move in." Rias commanded, her disposition was of a leader.
Jinrang wasted no time as he approached the church, following behind were Kiba and Issei,
Koneko stayed with back with Akeno and Rias, in case they needed some extra muscle.
"You guys ready?" Jinrang asked,
Issei summoned his sacred gear, and Kiba summoned a blade.
Jinrang smirked, and punched the door and of course, it blew off the hinges and alerted just about everyone inside it.
"Open sesame."
