Guy was sent flying again, slamming hard against the side of the magical cage, making the entire structure shudder. But instead of looking frustrated, the corners of his lips curled into a faint smile.
"What are you laughing at?" Imu frowned, a sudden sense of unease creeping in. What am I missing?
"It's finally done. The analysis is complete," Guy stood up and spoke in a cryptic tone.
"Analysis?" Imu's sense of foreboding deepened.
"My ultimate skill—Bloodborne Sovereign." Guy smiled casually. "It allows me to analyze my opponent's abilities through their blood… and then steal their powers. Pretty amazing, right?"
Imu's face went pale. Guy's relaxed expression sent chills down his spine. "That's impossible! That kind of ability doesn't exist! Are you joking?!"
But Guy ignored his outburst and continued, "Honestly, at first, I had no way of beating you. Your abilities are insane, I'll admit that. But your battle instincts? Pathetic. You rely solely on your fruit power. I knew I couldn't overpower you directly… so I let you think you had the upper hand. Let you get cocky. Then, I took a tiny bit of your blood. And you didn't even notice. So now, tell me… are you ready to die?"
"You die first!" Imu roared, activating his time-freeze once again and dashing in. But before he could even blink, Guy's fist slammed straight into his face, sending him flying backward.
"No way!" Imu's mind blanked—Guy had moved during stopped time! He wasn't frozen!
"I told you… I have your powers now," Guy replied coldly. "So… what now?"
As Guy slowly advanced, Imu's arrogance crumbled. Panic twisted her expression. She collapsed to the ground and began crawling backward in fear. "Wait, wait—I'll give you anything you want! Money, women, power—name it, it's yours! Just… don't kill me, please! Don't kill me!"
"Sorry. I have no shortage of those things. And you… must die." Guy's voice turned ice-cold. He stomped down on Imu's back, pinning her in place as a barrage of magic circles formed all around.
"Nooooo!!"
Imu's final scream echoed throughout the palace.
…
"Lord Imu…" One of the Gorosei lay sprawled across the bloodstained floor, his body growing colder by the second. Hearing that echoing scream, he struggled to lift his head—only to let it fall again as his eyes closed forever.
"So slow!" Milim complained with hands on her hips. "Is he slacking off in there? Wasting time!"
"Eh, to be fair, that Imu guy's abilities were a pain. Maybe that's why it took a while," Veldora shrugged while stomping down on a fleeing Gorosei, leaving the poor man coughing up blood.
The last remaining Gorosei sat slumped on the floor, bleeding from multiple wounds. His disheveled appearance made it hard to believe this man had once been one of the highest authorities in the World Government.
"Heh… so you've won, huh?" His eyes were dazed, like he still couldn't accept the reality before him. Then, coughing violently, he added, "But if the World Government falls… don't think you'll walk away unscathed! Uranus—activate!"
At some point, he'd pulled out a remote control and slammed his thumb on the button. Silence followed.
"…Huh?" Milim tilted her head in confusion. "Is this guy broken?"
"What the hell? Why didn't it activate?! Was it damaged earlier? Damn it, come on! Start already!! START!!" The Gorosei frantically pounded the device with both hands, desperate and deranged.
"Uh… about that Uranus you mentioned…" Veldora scratched his cheek awkwardly. "My friend already dealt with that. Probably not even ashes left by now."
The last Gorosei stared in disbelief, the weight of that sentence crashing down on him. No way. That was our trump card! The ultimate hidden weapon! And now… it was gone? Already destroyed? The button he'd so dramatically pressed—worthless? Did no one consider how humiliating this was for a villain?!
…
Meanwhile, far beyond the battlefield—in the endless void of space—a massive dragon let out a furious roar.
It was the Uranus.
Forged with the full might of the moon-dwellers, it was a supreme bioweapon. It possessed impenetrable dragon scales, lightning-fast speed, and destructive force capable of wiping out entire islands with a flick of its claws. Its regenerative ability bordered on immortality—no matter how badly wounded, it would recover swiftly.
In the ancient war, the moon-dwellers had used the Uranus to unleash devastation upon Earth's strongest fighters. In the end, it took a combined global effort to suppress it. Once the war ended, Imu seized control of the creature and used it to annihilate the last resisting nation, paving the way for global domination.
But now, that same Uranus looked helpless and mournful. Its roar echoed with rage and despair.
Gigantic chains—each as thick as mountains—had emerged from the void, binding the colossal dragon in place. No matter how violently it thrashed, the chains didn't budge an inch.
"So this is Uranus? Looks pretty majestic, huh?" Rimuru's golden eyes sparkled with interest as he examined the massive dragon before him, amused and utterly unafraid.
