And just as expected, Obito took the bait.
Granny Yukina halfheartedly tossed a shuriken toward him. Obito phased through it effortlessly and reached out his hand toward the baby in her arms.
At that moment, Granny Yukina pulled back her hood, revealing a face eerily similar to Obito's grandmother.
"Little Obito… You've finally come to see your granny…"
"You…!"
Obito froze on the spot, stunned by the familiar face. Granny Yukina seized the opportunity—
Kotoamatsukami!
The shuriken spun rapidly in her blood-red eye. Obito was locked in place, desperately trying to pit his Mangekyō against the might of the Kotoamatsukami.
Granny Yukina had the upper hand with her Genjutsu-based Sharingan. Obito may have been caught off guard, but he still had youth and his Mangekyō on his side. For a moment, the two locked into a stalemate.
But this battle of Ocular Power came at a cost—Obito's phasing time drastically shortened.

You kept up the pressure with relentless fire-style jutsu. Finally, you caught a brief window where Obito's phasing dropped—green flames ignited out of thin air on his body!

Uchiha Setsuna landed a punch squarely on Obito's back. The strike didn't carry much force…
But it hit.
Obito staggered, snapping out of the Genjutsu duel.
Only to be met with your blade—wreathed in dark green flame—slicing toward him.

Obito's eyes went wide with horror as he watched the lower half of his body collapse to the ground. His phasing… had failed!
What's going on?!
In the few seconds that Butōgyokumei sealed his phasing ability, the poison from your blade had already seeped into his chakra pathways. Even attempting to circulate chakra now was sluggish and stilted!
"AAAGH!!"
Uchiha Setsuna followed up immediately, cleaving Obito's upper body clean in half with a single strike from his blade!
"Don't let him escape!" Granny Yukina roared, swinging her blade toward a White Zetsu that suddenly emerged from the ground.

A flash of fire blinked in the Kamui vortex… then vanished.
"Damn it, he got away!"
Only a quarter of a head had been sucked in—and with your poison flame explosion added to that, there was no way Obito survived.
But for now, there was something more urgent to handle: the White Zetsus swarming Granny Yukina and the infants!
Thankfully, without a commander, the dozen or so White Zetsus that popped up from underground were quickly dismembered by your team—not a serious threat.
With the fight over, you had Granny Yukina and Uchiha Setsuna sit and rest. Carefully, you channeled the Flame of the Infested together with your fire-style chakra into their bodies to purge the lingering toxic smoke.
Then you asked the ninja cats for sealing scrolls and sealed up the remains of the White Zetsus. Their bodies would make excellent bio-materials.
You didn't waste Obito's corpse either. You gathered his remains and activated your ocular technique to extract every last drop of his blood.

But it was too late—you had already been lured into a White Zetsu base. They just kept coming, endless and swarming, emerging from underground like ants. Some even tried to drag you down by the ankle!
Earth Style: Earth Flow Wall!
You and Uchiha Setsuna jointly cast the jutsu, creating a thick earth wall. The three of you stood atop it. You and Setsuna defended the flanks, slashing at the Zetsus climbing up, while Granny Yukina and the two infants remained safely in the center.
The pressure eased somewhat.
But this couldn't go on forever.
Thinking fast, you fought with one hand and formed seals with the other, gathering fire dragons.

Each formed from your maxed-out Fire Style origin, the Flame of the Infested, and your toxic fire.
The fire dragons dove toward the ground, breaking apart into thousands of ember-like fire pellets just before impact.
They penetrated the soft sand, drilling deep underground.
Once they reached the right depth, the fire particles converged again—three flames blended perfectly into one massive fireball.

A giant hemispherical explosion rose from the endless sands, launching charred White Zetsu corpses high into the air. You'd annihilated the subterranean nest completely.
However, an attack of that scale—even with your title buffs and the chakra replenished by burning Zetsus—pushed your body to its limits.
Luckily, the White Zetsus were finally silenced.
You climbed out of the crater. With help from the ninja cats' sense of direction, you corrected your route toward Iwagakure.
After a long and exhausting journey, night had fallen when you finally encountered another group of Iwa-nin building makeshift earthen shelters for the night.
These Iwa-nin were extremely wary of you. Even though you showed no hostility, they drove you away after only a few words.
At least they didn't attack.
So you and your companions set up camp nearby, just outside their temporary outpost…
