What the hell is going on here?" Clara whisper slowly towards Drake. All of them are hiding on the rooftop of a clock tower.
Today is the full red moon, the night sky seems to be ocean of blood due to moon light.
"They do not seems like normal humans not even Vampires. We need to get out of here soon!"
"But where we will go Drake? There is no other place to go near anywhere" Even though they are vampires they need rest due to all the things that happened in day.
"We need to leave or die here" Ryan speaks out watching towards the down streets.
In no time, all the human like creatures started climb the clock tower,
"Get ready to fight!" Drake shouts releasing his sword, he cuts the head of the first creature but in few seconds it regenerated itself. All the creatures start to crawl towards them, Clara and Ryan both start to attack on the creatures to clear the way of exit.
They jump from one building to other but it seems no use all the creatures start move towards them.
Drake has the power of the thunder. He points his sword towards the sky, dark clouds starts to surrounded the city. A bolt of thunder strike into Drake's sword, with a lighting speed he slashed half of the creature which gave them enough space to leave.
Three of them move towards the exist of the town which falls in opposite direction from the entry point.
"Drake, you are so strong though I didn't expect you to be" Clara started to tease Drake while running,
"You have just seen only 5% of my power" Drake start to laugh loudly
"Ryan, does your friend always laugh like this? Uhh, so weird!" Clara makes weird face, while Ryan was thinking something deep.
"Hey Drake, can you guess what made that town people to turn out into monsters" Ryan ask him very seriously.
"Ryan, I have no idea. There are some of the dark forces which feed on souls of other people"
"So are we safe? We are dead living beings right" Clara questions curiously,
"But we have soul right " Drake answers seriously, they make it out the boundary.
They see a empty wooden house which seems abandoned. They move inside it, the place was quite clean.
"We need stay here for today" Drake released all two bags which was on his shoulders.
"Finally we can take rest" Ryan removed his cape and laid on side bench to take nap.
"Drake do you know the route to find the blood gem"
"No, we know that it falls on North direction. Its located in some deadly mountain which has traps on every step"
"It is going to be a long journey then I guess"
"Yes, for now take some rest. We will talk about it tomorrow"
Around 3am someone knocks on the door, Clara wakes up in sleepy eyes goes to open the door thinking it is her home.
In mean time, Ryan grab her hand and pulls her back before she opens the door. Clara starts to protest but Ryan shuts her mouth by his hand
