Chapter 19 - Reclamation Missions?

On the way to the dungeon square, Grace Monta never took her eyes off from Luceris. It was like admiring a masterpiece of art, her gaze filled with admiration and undeniable affection.

Only now did Grace finally understand—why Leanne Vale and Selene thought so highly of her. Everything aside, Luceris's near-perfect appearance alone was enough to captivate the heart.

Wherever she went, she seemed to bloom like a radiant flower, drawing people in naturally. Even someone as composed and research-focused as Grace couldn't help but feel flustered like a young girl.

Luceris, however, sat stiffly, nervous under her intense gaze. She feared this woman might suddenly pounce like a piglet obsessed with cuteness.

Thankfully, that didn't happen…

Upon reaching the dungeon square, Leanne and Selene quickly approached. Seeing Grace and Luceris arrive together, they were immediately surprised.

"Hey, why are you two together?" Leanne asked.

Grace smiled. "Why? You don't welcome me?"

Leanne rolled her eyes. Selene, disliking verbal sparring with Grace, turned away and greeted Luceris first.

Grace cleared her throat, a bit awkwardly. "The situation in Tranquenhold has stabilized. Luceris's file has officially been classified under S-rank clearance. She's now a priority individual."

"Also, the Star Destroyer Weapon project saw a breakthrough. Mr. Fang was thrilled and came to see Luceris personally."

Leanne looked stunned. "Wait, even Mr. Fang showed up?"

Grace nodded. "Tranquenhold is paying close attention to her now. Once the documents are fully issued, she'll probably receive the highest treatment in history outside of national heroes."

Leanne whistled. "That's insane... the project must've been a huge success."

"It is. Even that guy Karon has been shouting to join in. He doesn't even want to fight anymore."

They laughed together, brightening the square. The sight of the four of them together was stunning. Many onlookers paused, breathless, and whispered among themselves.

"Oh my god, am I dreaming?"

"All four of them are incredible!"

"What kind of person must you be to attract them?"

"I'd do anything to join their team!"

"Don't be silly. Did you see their gear? You need to be at least level 80 to even wear it. They could one-shot you."

"...Forget it. I'm only level 20. I'm not even worthy to admire them."

Luceris was used to the attention by now. Following the others' signals, she stepped into the space and activated her private dungeon.

The others followed her into the sea of endless flowers.

Luceris looked around. "There are so many people in the dungeon square lately. Is it just because of the recent awakening ceremony?"

Leanne nodded. "Good timing. I almost forgot—soon all dungeons will launch major land reclamation missions."

"Land reclamation?" Luceris echoed in confusion.

Selene explained, "Even after they emerge from the mist, dungeons retain a will of their own. They periodically issue mass-scale missions to adventurers. These are called reclamation missions."

"Every six months to a year, the dungeon's will consolidates and issues large-scale missions that can hold a thousand to tens of thousands of players at once. We call them large-scale dungeons."

"They may have different routes, but everyone will eventually face the same boss. Imagine tens of thousands clearing a dungeon simultaneously."

Luceris's eyes sparkled. The thought of such a grand event stirred her spirit.

"If I want to join one, are there any requirements?" she asked.

"Not really," Selene said. "Minimum is level 30. The upper limit is usually around 50, since most players are in that range. Any higher and the dungeon itself might not hold."

Leanne added, "I remember hitting level 50 and creating a mess during one of those events. Chaotic, but so much fun."

Luceris continued asking Selene for more details, visibly excited. As they walked forward, Leanne slashed at vines ahead like a fearless war goddess, clearing the path.

Grace trailed behind, marveling at every detail.

"This place is incredible!" she exclaimed.

"In just half an hour, so many materials have already dropped!"

Though not a combat class, Grace had assisted in countless difficult dungeons. But even the most generous ones didn't compare to this.

"Luceris, I've made up my mind—I'm coming here more often!" she declared.

Luceris smiled but quickly focused. Despite frequent runs, she still lacked several core materials.

She needed to make real progress today—or she wouldn't be able to rest.

More importantly, she had to reach level 30. Nothing would stop her from joining the large-scale reclamation event.

"Get ready. We're about to teleport to the fourth space," Leanne reminded. She stepped into the teleportation array first.

Luceris and the others followed closely.

Fueled by the fire of exploration, Luceris's heart raced.

Buzz~

Her dimensional divine armor activated.

A radiant glow engulfed her. Her form shifted, elegant and otherworldly.

Leanne and Selene's eyes brightened with admiration.

Grace, however, was momentarily stunned.

A pink hair tail passed before her face, leaving a sweet fragrance.

Her eyes widened.
