**The Forest – A Subtle Stirring**
The forest no longer slept.
Across its vast, breathing expanse, spirits whispered, leaves rustled with purpose, and even the earth itself trembled softly beneath Elira's steps. Birds didn't just chirp—they watched. The wind didn't just blow—it listened.
Elira walked beside Yuki and Sylvaeria, still tracing the glowing mark on her collarbone. "Okay, so, does this thing *ever* stop buzzing? I feel like I swallowed a bee made of light."
"It's attuning," Sylvaeria said gently. "The forest is responding to you."
"Feels less like 'responding' and more like I signed up for magical telemarketing," Elira muttered.
Yuki didn't speak, but his side-eye said plenty.

**Elsewhere – Council of the Spirits**
Deep in an unseen part of the forest, a ring of spirit beings formed—a grove of ancient guardians. Ethereal, shifting in form and hue, they stirred around a crystalline pool that shimmered with reflected memories.
"She has awakened the seed," murmured one.
"And she walks beside the Sovereign," said another, its voice like wind through reeds.
"Fate dances again."
A particularly grumpy mushroom-shaped spirit harrumphed. "Last time fate danced, half of us exploded. I don't like dancing."
"Silence, Puffrot," a vine-spirit hissed.

**Back with Yuki's Group – Uneasy Peace**
As the trio moved through a glade of glowing lilies, the tension between them had started to shift.
Not dissolve—just shift.
Yuki walked with his usual quiet intensity, the spirits curling closer to him with every step. Sylvaeria flitted ahead like a guide, her wind and forest aura blending perfectly with the environment.
Elira... just tried not to trip on roots.
"So," she began, peering up at Yuki, "are you always this broody, or is that like... part of the dragon aesthetic package?"
Yuki gave her a sidelong glance. "I am watching for ambushes."
"Right. Totally. Not just avoiding eye contact after seeing your past self in a memory flashback."
Sylvaeria chuckled under her breath.
"I heard that," Yuki muttered.
---
**Suddenly – A New Pulse**
All three stopped.
A deep, slow *thrum* echoed through the ground. The trees around them shifted as if exhaling. Even the air grew heavier—thicker with anticipation.
Sylvaeria's wings fluttered anxiously. "Something else has awakened."
Yuki extended his senses—**Astral Sense**, **Territory Lord's Intuition**, and **Soulsovereign Core** pulsing together.
His eyes narrowed.
"There's another force stirring," he said grimly. "Not a spirit… but *something tethered* to them. Someone from the outside."
Elira stiffened. "Could it be—?"
"Yes," Yuki said. "Someone who knows you."

**Elsewhere – The Shadow Watches**
In the mists of the deeper glades, the silver-badged girl stood again.
She placed a hand against a tree—and the roots beneath pulsed in reply.
"Elira's awakening changes the balance," she whispered. "But I won't let her carry it alone."
She turned to the enormous wolf beside her.
"Let's go, Shade. It's time I reintroduce myself."

**Closing Scene – Beneath the Canopy**
As they returned to their grove, Sylvaeria glanced toward the horizon.
"You know, I thought the forest would remain still for a few more centuries."
Yuki rumbled thoughtfully. "So did I."
Elira sighed. "You two have *really* poor luck with centuries."
