Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 Going to school

Every few days, Bella would contact the survivors of Flight 180 through MSN. She remembered the number 40 days, which fits the story of Noah's Ark in the Bible. It rained for 40 days at that time. This number means death in the Bible.

In other words, forty days after the flight crash, the so-called god of death will start killing again. He will kill all the survivors who escaped before.

As for whether he will start killing in the order of seats or according to some new rules, it is unknown. Bella only knows that she must stop it all. This is her heart.

A month of vacation passed quickly. Charlie saw that she had walked out of the haze and her mentality was even so good that it was about to explode, so he began to urge her to go to school.

Four years of high school, and then go to college, this is what many parents here expect of their children.

Bella is also looking forward to college. The Internet in this era is still in its infancy. Many materials cannot be found on the Internet, so she can only go to the university library to study.

If she wants to learn more knowledge and build her own spiritual world, she must go to college.

During this month, Bella also flipped through the books. Her psychic ability gave her an excellent memory. She basically recalled all the knowledge she had learned and mastered in her previous life.

After a little review and going through the textbook content twice, SAT or ACT exams were no problem.

However, the scores of these exams only account for one-third of the factors for college admission. Regular homework, experiments, class discussions, and attendance also count.

Colleges will also examine whether students love extracurricular activities, including sports, entertainment, technology, on-campus activities and off-campus activities. Some schools will also stipulate a certain amount of time for public welfare activities and odd jobs.

Odd jobs are fine, but many times you have to do volunteer work.

For example, building houses for black people!

Bella was speechless about this. Are the officials of the US Department of Education a bunch of troublemakers? Are they out of their minds? I came all the way here just to build houses for black people? It's better to let them build a house for me!

It's not for nothing that the original Bella got married and became a vampire after graduating from high school at the age of 18. With her previous poor social experience, she couldn't go to college at all!

Bella can now reverse some of her disadvantages, but it is still a little late. She is ready to use the follow-up events of Flight 180 to become famous.

Saving people is her original intention, and becoming famous is also her original intention. The two are not contradictory.

American universities are very keen on celebrities. When dealing with celebrities, their assessment standards will drop like a cliff. Not to mention the trivial matter of not participating in social activities, even if they burn down the house of black people, they will turn a blind eye!

A full month after the Flight 180 accident, Bella officially began her study career at Fox Town High School.

Fox High School has only 357 students, and now with Bella, it is 358.

Fox Town has many characteristics of American small towns, that is, closed. Once such a town is haunted, invaded by aliens, or controlled by some evil church, the outside world will not know it for ten days or half a month.

The children here all grew up together, their parents also grew up together, and so did their grandparents.

They are very familiar with each other, and girls like Bella who come from big cities will be extremely severely excluded.

A school with more than 300 students naturally will not have things like school buses and uniforms.

Bella had been walking around town for the past month and had seen this school from afar, but today was her first time here.

Fox High School is right next to the highway. If you don't know, you can't tell from the outside that it's a school.

There are a few trees and bushes outside the low wall, and rows of chestnut brick houses inside. To put it nicely, it's nostalgic, to put it bluntly, it's just broken!

Charlie had already handled the transfer procedures, and Bella just had to come by herself.

In the administrative office, she received her class schedule and a map of the school.

The staff member in charge of the administrative office was a middle-aged female teacher, who was so enthusiastic that Bella was a little uncomfortable.

The other party compared the class schedule and marked the location of the classrooms on the map one by one. For fear that she couldn't understand it, she also wrote the serial numbers 1234 and connected them from beginning to end with black arrows.

This made Bella speechless. She felt that she didn't feel like she was in high school, but like she was on her first day in kindergarten!

What a bad impression did her predecessor leave on Fox Town before she was fourteen? The middle-aged female teacher's kind attitude was obviously not to get close to her, but to keep a distance.

I'll take good care of you, and you can go find someone else, that's probably what she meant.

Bella shook her head and sighed, thinking of the bad popularity of her previous life!

In the morning, she received the books and then attended an English class.

Well, yes, there are English classes here, but they are a bit like the Chinese classes in her previous life, and she has been doing various reading comprehension and article analysis.

Bella only realized a problem at this time, her English level is not enough!

As soon as the class started, she talked about Wuthering Heights. She had heard of this book, but when the teacher started to talk about a certain paragraph in it, she was confused. Where is this paragraph? ! Who and whose story is this book about? !

She flipped the book from front to back, and then from back to front. In the end, she had to ask her deskmate to find the paragraph the teacher was talking about.

The whole morning passed in a daze. The idea of dominating Fox High School was broken by reality. The time is not yet ripe. She really has a lot to learn.

In the afternoon, it was the course that students all over the world love to see, physical education.

However, Fox High School has limited teaching staff and few teachers, which leads to the fact that the physical education classes here are very domineering. There are four physical education classes in a row in the afternoon!

The boys played basketball, the girls played volleyball, and the physical education teacher led everyone to the gymnasium in a tone of "Don't learn anymore, let's go out and have fun together."

"What? We need to take four years of physical education here!" In the girls' locker room, Bella asked the girls around her, and only then did she know that there was a hard requirement in Forks Town, and that physical education classes had to be taken every year during the four years of high school.

Not to mention the school in her previous life, when she first came here, she learned that there were only two years of physical education classes in Arizona, and the rest of the time was used for studying or participating in some extracurricular activities.

There were very few schools that had four consecutive years of physical education. If you play so crazy and have an empty head, how can you get into college!

Although she secretly complained, Bella did not question it. Once you are labeled as not fond of sports and a nerd here, the end result is isolation.

Physical education is physical education! Just wait for me to beat you up!
