When Xi Chen arrived at the place of the festival, the place was already packed with full of people.Only the pavilion near the river have some empty room.
Green River is the only river running through the whole town and it is also the lifeline of many common people.
Now the river is filled with all kinds of lanterns, ranging from lovers lantern to friendship and family lanterns.
As he passes the people left and right,he felt something pulling his shirt. When he turned to look, he sees a little girl with a sweet lollipop.
The little girl looks at him and ask him "Are you Xi Chen?".
"Yes? Why" Xi Chen reply with a puzzled expression.
The little girl pointed her finger towards a pavilion window where a girl is seen looking out the window. Then she says "That sister is asking you to come to that room".Then she let him to room.
After opening the door she left.
Xi Chen look towards the room. Then he takes a deep breath and enters the room.As he enters the room,there was already a well dressed girl.The girl is about 18 or 19 with an oval face.But her face is not that of a beauty face and her body is somewhat ok.
The girl takes her sit and gestures to Xi Chen to sit at the opposite bench.After Xi Chen sit down, the girl starts to introduce herself.
She goes "Hello Mr. Xi, my name is Lu Xia.And I am 18 years old this year. My sign is hollow scale".
"Hello Lady Lu, I am 19 this year" Xi Chen replied and then he says "Lady Lu sorry to offend you but I am a very straight forward guy so I will go straight to the point. Why do you want to marry me?".
Then the girl curl up her lips a bit with a little bit of disdain and shot her words of arrow at Xi Chen "Me wanting to marry you? Please do not get your hope high up.It was my family who asked the matchmaker for you.Even I did not know about it until yesterday ".
Xi Chen is surprised at the words of the girl. Even though he is not that handsome.He is atleast 1.8 meters told with some well define muscles.With all that integrated, he is somewhat above than most average guys.
"So today I am here to reject the proposal and deny any words from matchmaker Meng about me asking you" The girl then continues "The man I marry must be handsome,brave and have money.Or he must be a Martial artist. You do not have any of that.And I even heard you can not even fix your roof. How can you expect me to be happy with you".
Xi Chen looks at the girl with his eyebrows rising a little bit and thought 'This girl must have a twisted mind.Ma'am you should atleast look at yourself. From others' point of view, you are a delusion one'.
"So we should stop the marriage proposal then?" Xi Chen questions the girl.
"Yeah duh.. "Then she stood up and left the room leaving her last word "I am leaving".
'What a delusional girl' Xi Chen thought to himself.
After that he stood up and walk towards the window. He looks out the window and enjoy the lively and beautiful scenery.Some times later 'Maybe I should go home and cultivate a bit' with this thought Xi Chen came downstairs to leave.But before he could leave, the clerk at the counter near the door stops him and says " Sir you should pay before you leave".
Xi Chen in a puzzle tone ask back at the clerk "Did not the girl paid".
The clerk replied "She said you will pay for the room".
Black lines appeared on Xi Chen's forehead.But he still pays for the room.Then he leave.
After browsing through the shops and the busy street,he went home.
At home after having dinner, he lays on his straw bed with his mind wondering how to crafts a Martial artist weapon.'Maybe I should ask some experienced blacksmiths. It seems like it's time for me to pay a visit to my dear master'.
Then he grumbled 'But first I should change this straw bed to a wooden bed.God it's killing me'.Ever since he started sleeping on the straw bed,its been tickling him every night making him not sleeping in peace.
