Levi returned back home with a frown on his face. He already had a plan, but he still needed something to piece everything into motion. His expression was serious, and his hands were fisted, that was until Griffin met him.
"Young master, you seem disturbed, what seems to be the matter?"
Levi exhaled through his lips, trying to calm himself down. People had hurt him so much, and it was finally time to calm everyone down one at a time.
"People…" he expressed, causing Griffin to sigh. It seemed he already knew what Levi was talking about, but he wanted it to make a lot of sense, so he waited for his master to express himself.
"You know I told you I'll be going somewhere right?" He asked with his right brow raised, eyes staring at Griffin who nodded in acknowledgement.
"Yes, you told me about that earlier. Do you need help with anything?" He asked, and again first, he shook his head.
"N..no… um, I mean yes…" he explained again before lowering his head for a few seconds.
"I'm going to an event, and I need to look good. I bought a car, and now I want to get a nice suit to go with it."
Griffin's eyes widened, and then he nodded, quickly returning his gaze to their usual way.
"So you bought a car?" He said as if praising him with respect in-between. "It's nice to know you did something fun today."
"Yeah. I just need you to get me a nice suit. I need to ensure I look good at the party. How about that?" He asked, and Griffin immediately understood.
"Alright boss. We'll have it ready by tomorrow alongside a designer who will dress you up for the event."
"Good…"
Levi's response was straightforward. He was still in thought, he had plans, and they were all going to happen tomorrow. He was no longer the levo they usually know.
"I'll show you to your room, but if you need anything else, there's a telephone in the room, you can call, and I'll be right on my way."
Levi nodded, already tired from the day's activity. "That's alright. I understand. What about my grandmother? When will she be back?" he inquired, walking up the stairs with Griffin.
"Four days from now.." he responded, showing him to his room.
The next day came faster than expected, and the time for the party was fast approaching. Levi had taken his bath, and was now being styled by the designer of the outfit himself.
Levi stood in front of the mirror, staring at himself because who he was seeing was an entirely new person. He had been groomed from his hair to his feet, and he looked great.
"And we're done…" The designer said, after adjusting the necessary. "What do you think?"
At first, there were no words. He was speechless, but Griffin cleared the air when he opened the door to reveal that the car was ready to take him to the event.
Levi nodded, thanking the designer before he walked out towards that way. He was serious, and once he got into the car, he was driven to the venue which was to be in a hotel.
He stepped down from the car upon arrival, his shoes which were the first to be seen screamed elegance before the rest of his persona was revealed.
Murmurs started going around, wondering who the handsome was, and for the first time, Levi felt like he was where he was supposed to be in life.
"Should I wait here, or should I come with you?" Griffin asked, snapping Levi out of his thoughts.
"Wait here. I don't think I would be spending so much time at the party. Besides, it's a business launch," he expressed, causing Griffin to nod.
"Alright boss, if you need anything, I'll be right here," Griffin reminded again, making sure he knew where he was.
"Yeah, I also recall that. This is the hundredth time you're saying it," Levi expressed before going through the entrance. The gazes he got complimented his Aura, and he only stopped when he spotted a familiar face.
"Ruth?" He called, causing her to turn, and her hair to swing alongside her swift movement. Her mouth was open wide, and her eyes followed before she also called out to him.
"Levi? What are you doing here?!" She screamed, and he laughed. "I should be asking you this, and you know it. This is a launch for a supposed friend of mine," he explained, and she raised both her brows, her face showing realization.
"What about you?"
Ruth shrugged her shoulders. "I actually came here to decorate, so I'm staying till the event is over." She paused, and then took a look at him, but as if sensing what she was about to say, Levi spoke too.
"You look good…" both cheered, laughing almost immediately. However, their moment was interrupted by the clinking sound coming from the glass that pulled their attention to the stage.
As soon as their heads turned, and Levi saw it was her approaching the stage, his expression turned serious.
"Um, I'm sorry, I have to get going but we'll definitely chat later, okay?"
"Yeah sure. See you later," she replied, maintaining her smile while he made his way to the front.
A mic was handed to Olivia who was dressed beautifully. Pride filled her eyes, and the moment both their eyes clashed, Levi couldn't help but noticed how she turned pale, how she paused with eyes slightly widened, and how she only recovered herself after the crowd gave her a round of applause to which she tried to respond with a frown she forced on her face.
"Um, good evening ladies and gentlemen. It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to this program. Today is a great day for my company, and launching another business alongside it is the best thing that has ever happened to–" she was interrupted by Levi who was now on the stage.
Her face formed into a frown, but he smiled, urging her with his hands to go on.
His gesture moved the guest, causing them to clap again, which gave her the urge to continue.
"Today, we celebrate the success, and greatness of a strong woman, and of a developing business as well. Do well to enjoy yourself tonight because even business folks deserve a little drink now and then," she threw in a joke, but just then, Levi cleared his throat.
"I also have something to say…" he said, and because his voice was loud enough, and due to the echoes of the place, everyone seemed to get a grip, going silent.
She frowned, but since she was trying to put a happy face in front of everyone, she forced a grin, gnashing her teeth in the process.
Levi didn't mind. He stretched his hands, demanding the mic to which she gave him.
Levi exhaled, and started. "No doubt Olivia, you're a determined woman, and I congratulate you on your business launch, but I just wanna know. Why did you cheat on me?"
Gasps erupt from the crowd who turned around to look at each other, murmuring so many things. However, Olivia stood on stage, her face pale with horror.
