The Rieamaius airport was riddled in multilated corpses of numerous civilians. The A rank Regulator whose head was torn off by the flail of Argoreas was still lying on his side. Ludwig was kneeling on the ground, his sword poised into the marbled floor in support. His head was dripping crimson, his breathing was rapid, possibly on the verge of death. His dark eyes gazed up ahead, witnessing a man with torn blue tropical button shirt get blown through the airport ceiling crashing into the floor. Following this, Argoreas slammed down into the man, causing further destruction inside the airport, the glass overlooking the planes shattering upon the shockwave.
Argoreas was considerably injured, a large bleeding gash was on his chest, and lastly the edge of a scimitar's blade stabbed in his shoulder. The man with the blue tropical button shirt attempted to crawl away from him, reaching for the scimitar that dropped in front of him, but Argoreas stomped his head into the ground, splattering blood. Argoreas walked out of the crater, grabbing the scimitar blade piece, tugging it off his shoulder.
As I thought, even Elite rank 20—Erekia Gavin—was no match. Ludwig was in no shape to continue fighting, and yet he sighed in annoyance.
Wait. What am I doing? I wasn't supposed to write this, I'm becoming desperate.. But it's too late to restart, I'll just have to change perspectives… I'm wasting the ink, it's only a matter of time before he arrives at this draft… I need to make this one flawless, I just need time.. Please…
Satoya was on his phone, sitting inside a pretty worn down hotel, to say the least. The bed was surprisingly well maintained and clean, but the walls are kinda eroded away, and now it seemed like a post-apocalyptic room, with the large hole in the wall, but Satoya didn't necessarily mind it, he enjoyed the summer breeze.
Shizune was on the carpet floor inside the "living room" of the hotel, taking a small nap. Isaac was nowhere to be seen, but that was obvious considering he told Satoya he was gonna buy some ice cream, which made him question, why does this place function the same as any other city but the place is just absolutely riddled in plants and life? Quite redundant if he thought about it.
Ever since he stepped foot in the hotel, and more precisely the hotel room, there was an unfamiliar, almost aching sensation that he was being observed, but he couldn't pinpoint the exact location. So he continued to.. to..
This is out of Satoya's character, he isn't supposed to be that perceptive, wait, perhaps he was? I don't know, I must move on, I need to focus, I need to concentrate.
So he continued to scroll on his phone, occasionally laughing at some random video he came across, or simply looking outside through the hole in the wall. The forest danced in the gust of cool wind that blew into the room Satoya was swelling in, providing comfort in the hot summer.
He shifted his view back inside, however there was a girl who appeared to be the same age as him standing before him. She had short white hair, which oscillated in the breeze, she was smiling, holding a notebook with a quill, she lastly wore a white trench coat. Satoya was quite unsure on who the person was, or how she got there, but the one thing Satoya was mainly questioning was, why was she using a quill? Out of anything to write with, she chose a random bird's feather? How inconvenient!
"Where'd you come from??" Satoya said, his eyes narrowing in suspicion, he would've instinctively grabbed his katana but he had forgotten that he placed it in the same area where Shizune is in.
"Don't ask how a Receurdos like me entered your area when there's an obvious entrance." She pointed to the cavity in the wall with the hand holding her notebook.
She talked in a very casual voice, quite unfitting for someone wearing an expensive looking trench coat that he'd doubt even Rayna could afford, "Anyway, I don't really care about you. Amrisoa is likely gonna tell you "oh how amazing you caught the eyes of the Flawed Believer." But I have something to ask you."
"Watch over Edward." She requested in a unsettling tone. But she took another breath, adding, "oh yeah right, you'll probably fight a Memoria in like, I don't know, 5 hours from now." Shortly after saying that, she approached the gaping cavity in the wall, and fell forward into it, and when Satoya rushed to stop her, a random piece of paper flew into his face, and after annoyingly grabbing it out of his face, she was gone.
"Weirdo, but great, now I gotta search up what Receurdos, Memoria, and Flawed Believer are.." He groaned irritation.
I feel like I'm inconsistent with Satoya's character.. What am I doing? Back in chapter one he was silent, simply zoning out.. No, what am I thinking? That's simply just a character growing.. I can't make another draft, I don't have the time for it, I taking a risky gamble by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.
Satoya stood up from his bed, taking one last look at the open wall, sighed, and opened the door to leave his room. He snatched his katana that was leaning against a small counter, and as he touched the door knob to leave, he heard yawning from behind.
"Oh, are we leaving?" Shizune yawned, wiping a tear with her finger, reaching out to her crowbar. She proceeded to get up using the crowbar as a cane once again, taking a small stretch. Satoya didn't necessarily want to have someone accompany him, but in all honesty, he didn't even know why he was leaving, but now he had to go to prevent embarrassing himself and damaging his small sense of pride.
"Uhm, yeah.. Looking for Isaac…"
Shizune made an odd look, baffled by the claim, she pointed her finger at Satoya's hand that was holding onto the katana's scabbard. "Then why are you taking your katana?" She asked.
Satoya glared at her, debating whether or not to give up and just avoid further complications, however, a sudden spark of motivation made him speak.
"Incase we get attacked.." He answered, opening the door knob, he was beginning to sweat, the answer he gave out of motivation wasn't actually motivation but the instinctual urge to answer something to leave, but he heard Shizune behind him reply, "alright let's go then."
