Chapter 6 – Silence Before the Next Scream
The System Space felt like a reality apart. A white, silent void, where the four members of Team Brazil walked side by side, surrounded by floating windows displaying options—skills, weapons, equipment, training, and much more.
Adam stared at the 12,500 points glowing in gold at the top corner of the interface. After surviving the psychological hell of Hereditary, it felt like a fair reward… or maybe just the calm before another storm.
The others hadn't received as much as he did. The system was clear: rewards were proportional to contribution, bravery, and direct impact on the team's survival.
Janaína: 6,500 points
Erica: 5,500 points
Thomas: 4,000 points
— "Okay… it's official. You've become the protagonist," Thomas said, eyeing Adam's points with playful envy. "We suffer, you farm."
— "Yeah, but I also almost died twice," Adam replied with a half-smile. "These points weren't free."
Janaína was already browsing the options. — "The system unlocked two rooms: Time Room and Gravity Room. Cheap prices. I think it wants us to stop being amateurs."
Adam opened the Training tab:

Adam didn't hesitate. He purchased both trainings for 1,500 points—then something caught his eye.
A red tab. Two spinning eyes in a hypnotic pattern.

Legendary visual ability from the Uchiha clan (Naruto). Allows movement reading, attack prediction, and perfect visual memory. Evolves with use.
Adam fell silent for a few seconds.
— "...It's decided."
He bought it. The moment it activated, his eyes lit up in crimson, two tomoe spinning slowly.

With the rest, he acquired:
Special Umbrella Adrenaline (balanced version): 2,000 pts
Boosts reflexes and strength for 30 seconds. Single dose.
Total spent: 11,500 pts / Remaining: 1,000 pts
Janaína focused on perception and strategy:

Time Room: 1,000 pts
Total spent: 6,000 pts / Remaining: 500 pts
Erica, support and defense:
Protection Key (Insidious – temporary possession shield): 4,000 pts

Thomas, physical combat:

Adam transferred 500 points to Thomas, with one condition:
— "You pay me back next mission... or pay me with barbecue when we're back in Brazil."
— "Deal."
In the Time Room, the world became a simulated ruined city. Bodies moved under increased gravity. Punches, dodges, falls, screams—and growth.
Adam, with the Sharingan, trained in movement reading. The red eyes gleamed with every dodge, every counterattack. The skill evolved slowly, but steadily.
By the end of the 10 days, they were stronger. More prepared. More united.
And when they stepped out, a new window awaited them:
