"Sis Lily, you went to meet him. But you were talking to us on the phone. Maybe he felt bad, right?" Zach inquired.
"My little one started concerning things now. Well, your point is right. Don't worry, I'll explain it to him later. He's an understanding person and in return as compensation I'll spend some extra time with him. How's that?" Lily replied.
"That's good, Sis Lily." Zach replied.
"Sis, Why don't you put your phone on speaker? We'll apologise to him and wish him a speedy recovery." Lina suggested.
"Yes, Lily, we only have ten minutes left. Put your phone on speaker. We'll try to cheer him up." Rina suggested, agreeing with Lina.
"Okay. But don't scare him by screaming. Got it?"
"Yes, Princess Lily." They laughed and shouted together.
Lily stood up and went to Grandfather Allen's side and said "Grandfather, my cousins want to talk to you".
"Sure." Grandfather Allen agreed.
"I put the phone on speaker. You can talk now."
"Hello, Grandfather" They greeted him together.
Grandfather Allen laughed and replied. "Hello, Young Ones"
"Wow, Grandfather. Your voice is so deep. I liked your voice." Zach began to boast about him.
"Well, it's used to being very commanding. So now it's deep," Grandpa Allen explained.
"Little one, you've really improved your sweet-talking skills." Lily replied.
"However, no one has ever beaten our princess Lily in sweet talking." Ayyan teased and others laughed.
Lily coughed and remained silent, embarrassed.
"Hahahaha, Is the Lily girl sweet-talk more?" Grandfather Allen intrigued.
While Eli stood up from the couch and went to sit on the chair beside his grandfather's bed and pulled Lily to sit on her lap.
"She doesn't usually sweet-talk, grandfather. But when the situation arises no one can beat her skills." Ayyan replied.
"Let me tell you about one incident grandfather."
"You guys, stop it. What are you going to say now?"
"Lily girl, don't stop them, I want to hear about you. Grandfather Allen stopped Lily and told them "Young Ones, you continue. I'm giving you the permission".
"Thank you grandpa.
One day my mom was angry with my dad. We didn't really know the situation. One of my cousins heard my mom yelling at my dad *You don't love me anymore. Don't talk to me* and my father screaming back *What's the matter* but she run out of their room.
Our cousins would share everything with each other. So he immediately explained to us what he had encountered. We understood things weren't right between them.
It was actually my mother's birthday that day. We had planned to surprise her and had already arranged everything to celebrate after the dinner. But we decided not to wish her until the surprise arrived. We were very worried whether to have a celebration or not.
It was already evening, and there was only an hour left for dinner. We wanted to test the waters. So, my brother Zach and I went to my mother's to check on my mother's mood. That was the first time my mother ignored us. Before we could talk, she said she had something to do and ran away.
Lily just came before the night, so didn't know our plan. Well, she is super busy person. She greet us that morning and left to take care of her responsibilities. She came back in the evening when we were all in dilemma.
We told her our plan, the situation my cousin encountered, and how my mother had ignored us.
We didn't know what she thought at the time, but she suggested *we are holding the celebration and trying to make it a bigger party*
We blindly followed her and tried to make it bigger by making some more arrangements like music and dancing.
Finally, it was time for dinner.
Except my older brother and Lily, we were very worried."
