The final chamber loomed ahead, doors etched with glowing runes that pulsed like a heartbeat. Each member of "Linked Hearts" stood tense, battered from traps, monsters, lava fails, and—most of all—MC's consistent ability to derail everything.
"Okay, this is it," Ciel said, sword drawn. "Let's go in, stay focused, and—"
MC kicked open the doors with both feet, shouting, "BOSS TIME, BABY!"
"…He's going to die," Kira muttered.
Inside, the room was pitch black. Then, slowly, the runes lit up across the domed ceiling, revealing the true final boss: a colossus forged of shadows and fire, three-headed, with swords for arms and wings that blocked the ceiling.
It roared, sending a wave of pressure so intense even Ciel flinched.
"Okay, okay, no biggie," MC said, hands glowing. "I'll just copy a few things—"
Before anyone could stop him, he ran straight into the boss's first attack: a triple-slash firestorm. Somehow not instantly deleted, he bounced off the wall, groaned, and stood up.
"I meant to do that."
"You're bleeding," Iris said flatly.
"Internally," he nodded. "Perfect time to try new skills!"
He activated his Harem King system, connecting with the girls and hastily copying every ability he could remember: Iris's time ripple dodge, Lina's flame burst, Luna's stealth cloak, Kaela's frost fusion… and Kira's triple counter.
The result was immediate—and messy.
He blinked out of existence, reappeared upside down midair, sneezed, teleported again, exploded into flames, and then reappeared—covered in ice.
"…What," Ciel said.
"I don't know anymore," he wheezed.
Then the boss launched a massive charged attack. It wound up like a nuclear baseball pitch, one that would likely annihilate half the chamber. The team was preparing their defenses—
—and then MC sneezed.
It was loud.
It was oddly majestic.
And it triggered Kaela's frost-fusion + Iris's time skip + Luna's cloaked rebound + something he didn't even recognize.
The sneeze became a blizzard vortex.
Time hiccuped. The flames froze midair. The boss—three heads and all—got encased in a spiraling ice tomb that burst with a final echoing crack.
Everyone just stood there.
No one spoke.
Finally, Lina cleared her throat. "Did… did you just sneeze us to victory?"
"Technically," MC said, still upside down and partially encased in his own ice, "I combo-sneezed. Very advanced technique."
Ciel pinched the bridge of her nose. "He doesn't even know what he did."
Kaela walked over, analyzing the frozen battlefield. "That… shouldn't have been possible. You somehow triggered a fusion cascade."
"Through a sneeze," Kira deadpanned.
"I had spicy lava chips," MC said helpfully. "Probably triggered a reaction."
"You're not allowed to eat before boss fights anymore," Iris snapped.
But the boss was down. The loot chest opened with a golden chime. Victory fanfare (somehow) played through the air. And "Linked Hearts," as ridiculous and chaotic as ever, had conquered the unbeatable dungeon—thanks to one overpowered, absurdly lucky sneeze.
"Alright," MC said, brushing off ice shards. "Who's up for round two?"
The girls collectively screamed, "NO!"
He smiled anyway. This was the life.
