Adrian didn't pull away
Cassie noticed this and turned around,he was being disobedient,she looked up at the man who seemed to have been staring down at her, Cassie at that time didn't want to look at the mirror so she chose to face this disobedient puppy
Adrian leans in,he was getting really close but Cassie wouldn't let him go that far,she raised her hand and covered his mouth Incase he planned to kiss her but the next thing he did made her inside spark,he had licked her palm covering his mouth,she pulled away and glared
"You seem to want to be disobedient today, don't tell me you want to be punished" and sure enough Adrian came back to his senses,he pulled slightly and shook his head "sorry"
"Sorry won't do,you already went too far in the beginning so I don't want to see you for the whole of tomorrow"
Right now, Adrian's expression made people want to pity him,back in their past life, anytime Adrian did something wrong,he would get punished and the most painful punishment was staying away from Cassie, sometimes she made the punishment last for a month and if he disobeyed then she'd increase it
He remembered how after the punishment he'll come back and lay his head on her leg, apologizing and saying he knows his mistake
Right now he wanted to punch himself for not restraining himself,he just loved when Cassie is possessive and couldn't stop himself
"Boss, please pity me"
"No,now go"
Cassie words were cold as always and her finger was pointed at the door, Adrian had no choice but to leave
Back in his room he shut himself in and sat on the bed
He really does look pitiful
The next day, Cassie told Jen to take breakfast up for Adrian
Since it was a one day punishment,he decided to stay in his room,he hadn't slept well and was dressed casually,when he heard a knock on the door he became happy,he looked like a puppy who had waited for his owner who finally came back but when he saw Jen instead he became gloomy "just put the food over there"
Jen noticed his gloomy expression and felt pity for him,she kept the food on the table before adding "sir, young miss said you shouldn't starve yourself and should eat"
Cassie didn't exactly say that,her words were "take this food to Adrian" but would she say that if she didn't want him to eat
Adrian who heard this was happy,he smiles at Jen and nods "okay,you can go"
Time seem to have passed slowly, Cassie was busy having her afternoon sleep while Adrian was trying to busy himself,he did online meetings and all that but he still wasn't happy, not seeing Cassie was like him not taking the most important medicine to save his life and so, immediately it clocked 12 midnight, Adrian went to Cassie room but she was asleep
He didn't seem to mind and went to sleep beside her, he held her tightly and went into the most beautiful dream
Cassie woke up early and saw Adrian beside her,he was still asleep,she slowly got out of his arm,took a shower, dressed up and went down for breakfast but after a while someone knocked on the door
It was Lisa
