After returning to Sobu High,
Kuzeha brought Yotsuya Miko up to the rooftop.
As someone born with the natural ability of Spirit Sight, Yotsuya's talent was indeed exceptional.
Today, Kuzeha had found a particularly weak spirit for her to practice on—and despite having just begun learning spirit binding, she succeeded on her very first attempt.
Of course, Kuzeha believed the [Transmission and Teaching] trait's triple acceleration played a massive role.
It directly elevated her from merely gifted to borderline monstrous genius.
In some worlds, such talent would have others crying out in awe: "How terrifying this child is!"
Now, Kuzeha felt it was time to try having her consume a spirit.
"Sw-Swallow it?"
Yotsuya stared at the floating spirit in front of her, face pale with uncertainty.
Kuzeha, understanding her mental resistance, had already reshaped the spirit—turning what was once a black-smoke-reeking, contorted toilet ghost into a softly glowing wisp.
Even so, the mere thought of eating something that once haunted a bathroom was… physiologically hard to accept.
"Don't you want to deal with the spirits in your house?"
Kuzeha asked casually.
At his words, Yotsuya bit her lip and nodded firmly.
Just as she reached out for the spirit, Kuzeha suddenly recalled the new trait he'd unlocked that morning.
"How about this—I'll seal off your senses first. That way, eating it won't feel so gross."
With that, he placed his hand on her head and held it there for three seconds.
Yotsuya blinked.
Everything around her suddenly became clearer, almost hyper-defined.
Especially Kuzeha's warm hand resting atop her head—it radiated a comforting heat.
"All done. Your senses are enhanced now. Go ahead!"
His voice came through gently.
Yotsuya didn't hesitate any longer.
Closing her eyes, she popped the spirit into her mouth.
In that instant, she vividly—and even intensely—felt a strange energy surge down her throat, flowing into her organs and spreading through her body like a current.
Her whole body tingled.
A blush crept up her face, and without realizing it, her head tilted back as she let out a soft moan.
Then she froze.
Wait… weren't her senses supposed to be sealed?
Why did she feel even more sensitive?!
"Don't get distracted. Keep going—don't forget the spirit-consuming technique!"
Kuzeha's sharp yet calm instruction pulled her back.
She instinctively followed his words.
Kuzeha nodded in satisfaction.
Seal off her senses?
Please—That was basically covering your ears and pretending the bell didn't ring.
It wouldn't help her at all.
So instead, he had amplified her senses—allowing her, a beginner, to clearly grasp the flow of spiritual energy during the process and understand it faster.
When she finally finished, her cheeks were burning red.
"It's done…"
Yotsuya exhaled, feeling amazed by the changes in her body.
"Mhm, excellent work!"
Kuzeha praised her, gently patting her head.
Under his amplified touch, a strange warmth stirred in her chest.
"You lied to me, Kuzeha-kun. You said you'd shut off my senses."
Yotsuya pouted, her voice a bit grumbly.
The memory of herself moaning in front of him was just too embarrassing.
She wanted to dig a hole and hide.
"But it worked really well, didn't it?"
Kuzeha grinned.
"From now on, you'll have to call me 'Master' in private."
Yotsuya puffed her cheeks but obediently nodded.
"Okay… Master."
Not long after, she left the rooftop.
She was eager to go home and exorcise the spirit haunting her house.
"Miko!"
A voice called from behind.
It was her friend, Yurikawa Hana.
Miko turned and saw Hana running toward her with sparkling eyes.
"You sly girl! So you were secretly dating someone behind my back!"
"Huh…?"
"Don't play dumb. I saw you go to the rooftop with Kuzeha from Class B. When you came down, your face was glowing pink and everything!"
"How far have you two gone? Holding hands? Kiss? Or… something more~?"
Yotsuya could only sigh in exasperation and embarrassment.
She glanced at her friend's overly excited expression, unsure whether to laugh or cry.
"It's not like that! I was just with my… Master."
"Master?"
Hana covered her mouth dramatically, her eyes filled with gleeful curiosity.
"Wow, so you're into that kind of master-disciple play, huh~?"
Yotsuya gave up explaining.
She still had a spirit to deal with at home—Once Hana saw the exorcism with her own eyes, she'd surely stop letting her imagination run wild.
