Chapter 245 - The Mead Queen

The pleasant female voice caressed Galen's heart like a gentle breeze, bringing a wave of comfort to his heavy body.

It was Sylvanas. She, too, was somewhat tipsy, displaying a languid charm that differed from her usual capable and heroic demeanor, making Galen's heart, already racing from the alcohol, beat even faster.

She had been quietly sipping wine, but then Alleria's competitive spirit was ignited by Galen and the others, and she insisted on having a drinking contest with her sister.

Alleria's plan was simple. Recently, she had been repeatedly frustrated by Sylvanas and Galen's obliviousness to the situation between them. Unable to directly address it, the frustrated Alleria decided to drink her sister under the table!

The result was predictable. Galen looked at the passed-out Alleria and gave Sylvanas a shaky thumbs-up.

Galen shook the last barrel of vodka, judging by the sound that there wasn't much left. He turned to Sylvanas and said, "Sylvanas, shall we have a bit more? Let's finish this barrel off!"

"Alright!"

Half-drunk and half-awake, Sylvanas and Galen seemed determined to drink until they dropped. In the end, it was Galen, the cheater, who stood tall, activating Rapid Cooling at the last second.

"Guard!"

Galen called out, and a Wildhammer guard entered. Galen paused, remembering that neither he, Sylvanas, nor Alleria had brought anyone into the Wildhammer's lord's hall.

He didn't need to. He was confident that, with his trump cards, he could come and go as he pleased. No one in Azeroth could hold him back.

Sylvanas and Alleria watched as Galen ordered his men to clean up the battlefield and set up camp for guard duty. They followed suit, ordering the Farstriders to set up camp and rest, as a major battle followed a forced march, and everyone was exhausted. They also didn't forget to send out some rangers to scout for Orc movements, preventing them from launching a counterattack.

They had thought it would just be a simple high-level meeting, but it had evolved into an alliance ceremony and a celebration!

Drinking leads to trouble!

Galen decided to stay away from dwarven drunks in the future.

"Honorable guest, what are your orders?" The Wildhammer guard was a young dwarf, lacking in experience.

"Take your lords to rest and prepare a place for us three guests to rest as well."

Only then did the Wildhammer guard notice that the only one standing in the entire hall was this overly young human!

He had drunk the High Thane, Lord Falstad, and the former High Thane under the table!

So impressive!

The Wildhammer guard was filled with admiration!

"Very well, guest. Would you like me to call some female attendants?"

"No need, I can handle it myself."

With that, Galen put his right arm around Sylvanas's waist and scooped up Alleria with his left, carrying them out of the hall.

"Please, follow me!"

The Wildhammer guard was directly awestruck!

The other guards at the door also exchanged amazed glances with the young guard leading the way.

"Is this human so tough?"

"There's even tougher! You'll know when you go inside!"

"… … … …"

Galen followed the guard down a path. Dwarves liked to build their living quarters below the halls, similar to basements. This lord's hall was no exception.

But why did this guard lead them into a VIP room and leave? What was that supposed to mean?

I wanted you to find me three single rooms!

Galen first placed Alleria on the bed, then settled Sylvanas beside her. He had to admit, the bodies of these two Windrunners were truly soft, and they each had their own unique fragrance.

"Water, water!"

Just as Galen was about to go out and find an empty room, he heard Sylvanas's murmur. He had no choice but to return to the bedside and take out a diluted vial of Spring of Life from his backpack. This was prepared for Khadgar, but it could be used in an emergency.

He half-squatted in front of the bed, carefully placing the mouth of the vial to Sylvanas's lips, slowly feeding her a few sips of the spring water until she stopped swallowing. Galen carefully withdrew the vial, suddenly feeling thirsty himself, and gulped down the remaining spring water.

As he stood up, Galen looked at the beautiful face and the moist lips. He didn't know what possessed him, but he couldn't help but gently kiss Sylvanas's forehead.

He was shocked after the kiss! He had closed his eyes when he kissed her, and when he opened them, he found that Sylvanas had already opened her eyes, her bright eyes staring at him.

Crap!

Seeing that there were only a few seconds left on the spell he applied to himself, Galen used Holy Light to accelerate out of the room. He had observed earlier that the room next door was also a guest room, so he quickly left!

The diluted Spring of Life temporarily sobered the drunken Sylvanas. She smiled as she watched Galen run away in a panic. She didn't feel disgusted, but rather happy, as if she had discovered a new toy, and a small joy arose in her heart.

But these thoughts didn't last long. Under the influence of alcohol, she fell asleep again.

Galen, on the other hand, after rushing into the room and not finding a bed, had the Icy Veins effect expire. The alcohol in his blood directly crashed his brain. Half of his body was hanging on the bed, and he passed out like that.

The next day, his powerful body functions, after working hard for most of the night, finally broke down most of the alcohol in his body. Galen got up, supporting his dizzy head, and the fact that half of his body had been suspended in the air on the bed all night made his back ache.

Recalling what happened last night, he remembered everything clearly with the blessing of Icy Veins. Galen wished he could slap himself in the face. He kissed her, so be it, but he was discovered. Wouldn't that be embarrassingly awkward?

How would he get out of this door later?

"Prince Galen, are you awake?" An urgent knock on the door interrupted Galen's thoughts. It was Mike's voice.

Galen got up and opened the door. Mike's respectfully said, "Your Highness, Lord Kurdran and the two Windrunner warriors are waiting for you in the council hall."

They sobered up so quickly!

Galen quickly washed up and walked into the council hall from last night with some trepidation.

"Galen, my good brother, did you sleep well last night?" Kurdran greeted him warmly, giving Galen a big hug. He still remembered being drunk under the table last night. He had said that once he recognized Galen as a brother, he really did.

Kurdran was considered relatively tall among the Wildhammer dwarves, only about five feet one or two inches tall. Galen, who was nearly seven feet tall, bent down to hug Kurdran, while secretly observing Sylvanas's expression.

He found Sylvanas looking anxious, and Alleria next to her was equally restless. What was going on?

"What happened?" Seeing that there was serious business, Galen quickly discarded the little thoughts in his heart and asked if there were any new developments.

"The gryphon knights have discovered the true location of the Orcs!"
