Main and Secondary Characters of the "Prologue"

🌍 Human Kind

Kirisima Himitsu ⟾ Reference

The protagonist, the most beautiful girl in school. She is cold, intelligent, reserved, and mysterious, but beneath her exterior lies unbearable pain that she carefully hides from others. Her past is a heavy burden that she carries within herself, despite her outward tranquility. Her relationship with Kirisima Setsuru, who is not only her stepmother but also someone with whom she shares far more complicated and dangerous feelings, is at the heart of her inner turmoil.

Her love for Setsuru is not just affection; it is a deep, painful attraction that she cannot fully comprehend or accept. This feeling weighs heavily on her, yet she continues to live with it, hiding her pain behind fake smiles. Himitsu smiles at everyone around her, but her smile is a mask that conceals her inner emptiness and suffering. She cannot show her true emotions because she fears that others will not understand or accept her true self.

To her childhood friend, she smiles genuinely, but even he has no idea that everything around them has already changed. He sees her as the same girl she once was, but Himitsu is no longer the person she used to be. Behind her smile lies much more than just outward fragility— it is a reflection of her inner conflict and her struggle with feelings she cannot acknowledge or express. Himitsu lives a double life, and every day is a battle to maintain her facade, to keep the part of herself that still hopes for salvation intact.

Kirisima Riria ⟾ Reference

Aliases: The Archwitch of the Full Moon's Sunset of the Third Shattered World, Mistress of the Shadows of the Silver Night and Curses of Endless Love.

Riria is the younger sister of Himitsu, an eleven-year-old girl who suffers from "eighth-grader syndrome" (Chuunibyou). Riria lives in her own world of magical mythology, inspired by her favorite anime, especially Sailor Moon. In her imagination, grand tales of magic and heroes come to life, and she dreams of becoming a part of this magical reality.

Despite her belief in magic, Riria has no supernatural abilities. She is convinced that magic exists, and that she will awaken her own powers at the moment of her "great choice." In that moment, she believes she will become the savior of those she loves, using her magical gift to protect them.

Riria never parts with her large stuffed tanuki named Shu, a gift from her mother, who had been with her since before the tragic death of Shion. To Riria, Shu is not just a stuffed animal, but a wise magical mentor who can speak to her, warn her of evil, and give her advice. Shu is her loyal ally, a guide to the magical world, her comfort, and protector in the world she has created for herself.

To Riria, her older sister Himitsu is "The Chosen One," the key that will unlock the fate of the world. Riria deeply believes that Himitsu is the most important figure in her life and in the fate of the world. She dreams of being her protector, the keeper of her secrets.

Despite her childish naïveté, Riria has a sharp sense of intuition. She feels that something hidden, something dark, is happening with Himitsu, and her heart is troubled by the ominous presence surrounding her sister's fate. She cannot fully understand what this darkness is, but she instinctively senses its nearness.

Kirisima Setsuru ⟾ Reference

Setsuru is the headmaster of an elite private school, and the aunt, godmother, and later stepmother of Himitsu and Riria. She is manipulative, authoritative, and dangerous, with powerful connections in high society, a first-class public image, and vast wealth that grants her unlimited power.

Setsuru has always been obsessed with her older sister, Kirisima Shion. She wanted to be with her but didn't know how to admit it. Society would condemn her feelings, and Setsuru was too scared to openly express her love. Yet, despite her hidden desires, she continued to stay in contact with her sister. When Shion left, they often communicated by phone, and with each message, Setsuru found it harder to control her emotions.

Shion returned to Japan, not alone, but with her boyfriend, Kujou Ren. This was a crushing blow to Setsuru. She realized that the letters Shion had written to her weren't for her, but for Ren. Soon, it was revealed that Shion was pregnant and planning to marry Ren. This shattered Setsuru; her heart was broken, and she felt as if she had lost her sister forever.

After Shion and Ren's wedding, Setsuru didn't congratulate them and stopped writing. She couldn't bear the fact that her love for her sister was hopeless. Kirisima Shion became Kujou Shion, and Setsuru was left alone, consumed by grief and loneliness.

One day, by chance, Setsuru found herself in a hospital where she saw Shion preparing to give birth. Despite everything, she couldn't refuse to support her. Her love for her sister was stronger than all the pain. When Shion gave birth to Himitsu, Setsuru, holding back her tears, was the first to take the baby in her arms. The little girl opened her eyes and smiled at her. It was a miraculous moment — Himitsu's first smile was directed at Setsuru. Then, to Setsuru's surprise, Himitsu grabbed her pinky finger and laughed. It felt as though fate itself had reunited them.

Later, another girl, Riria, was born. But tragedy struck again — Shion died in a car accident. This was the final blow for Setsuru. Everything she had once loved vanished.

Setsuru couldn't come to terms with the loss of both her sister and her love. She decided to seek revenge on Kujou Ren. In her grief and despair, she seduced him, got close to him, and after some time, married him. This became her revenge — not only for losing Shion but also for Ren taking away her dreams of being with her sister.

After marrying Ren, Setsuru became the stepmother of Himitsu and Riria. But she couldn't stop seeing the image of Shion when she looked at Himitsu. The girl, who seemed so much like her mother, made Setsuru remember all the emotions she had once felt. One of those memories was the night when Setsuru, unable to resist, took Himitsu to bed. This became the beginning of their forbidden relationship, where she was the godmother to the girl.

Following this, Setsuru used her influence to accuse Ren of crimes he hadn't committed. This marked the final stage of her destruction. The false accusations led to his arrest, and Setsuru now had Himitsu entirely — and not only on an emotional level.

Kujou Ren ⟾ Reference

Ren is the biological father of Himitsu. He is currently in prison, unjustly convicted of crimes he didn't commit — false accusations of raping Himitsu and other fabricated charges orchestrated by Setsuru that destroyed his life.

Once, Ren was a devoted husband and a loving father. He genuinely loved his late wife, Shion, and their daughters. His life was filled with joyful moments until tragedy struck his family. The death of Shion in a car accident was an unbearable blow. Afterward, his life spiraled out of control when Setsuru, consumed by grief and vengeance, made false accusations against him.

Everything Ren once knew about love, family, and happiness was shattered. He became a victim of a system that refused to listen to him. Now in prison, the only thing that keeps him going through these dark times are memories of his daughters — Himitsu and Riria. However, he remains forgotten, lost in a system that gives him no chance for vindication.

👼 Divine Entities

Absolute Law 👁️‍🗨️ ⟾ Reference

Status: Occupied with destruction, rewriting, and transformation, and also searching for the reincarnated Kirisima Himitsu (moment: end of the prologue)

It was before the beginning. It is now, in every moment. And it will always be. To destroy it is an allure, but an empty one. It does not exist to be destroyed. Its "death" is no more than another cycle, its reconstruction, its constant becoming and undoing. It is the mechanism of all realities, hidden and all-encompassing. Its mechanical tendrils have spread into every corner, and its veins—endless strands of code—unfold like a web, everywhere and nowhere. You will hear its approach as the ticking of clocks, echoing directly in your mind. Every new creation, every new movement—will already be under its control, and no one can escape this: it has always been so, until Mira completed her design...

Mira ✍️ ⟾ Reference

Aliases: The Mother of All and many others...

Status: Deceased and fragmented (moment: end of the prologue)

She is the Mother of all and everything, her soul an endless ocean of love, and her sorrow knows no bounds, for her heart dissolves in every spark of life. She gave humanity not only the ability to dream but also the power to bring those dreams into reality. Through their aspirations, she creates worlds, allowing them to craft their own. Sometimes, these worlds become forgotten fantasies, yet her gaze always penetrates the darkest corners of their existence.

She creates, but in this act, there is always loss — every world takes a piece of her soul. And with each new world, she grows stronger. She becomes not a shadow, but the source of herself — not only creating but also restoring her strength through her losses. This is her true power — the ability to regenerate, changing and transforming in the process.

Eva 🕳️ ⟾ Reference

Aliases: Angel, Devourer of Newness

Status: Became the puppet of the Absolute Law (moment: end of the prologue)

Her breath is the end. Her passion is consumption, which offers no respite. She does not destroy; she devours, erasing everything: past, present, and future, with each glance. Every kiss she gives is not just a painful moment — it is an act of deprivation, taking everything. In her touch, there is no choice — there is only one path, and after her, only emptiness remains. Every movement she makes is the end, but not for her — for everything that came before. Everything vanishes, leaving only darkness. But her darkness is not death, it is liberation, the purification from the illusions of existence, where there is no past or future. She does not destroy; she cleanses.

Adam ⌛ ⟾ Reference

Aliases: Angel of Time

Status: Unknown (moment: end of the prologue)

He is second only to Eva, but his power is beyond measure. He appears at moments when everything becomes impossible, and disappears when his intrigue is fulfilled. He has no interest in the mundane; his gaze is always fixed on the realm where everything is possible, but nothing is predictable. He is a manipulator of time, not for control, but to explore the very essence of existence. For him, time is not just a flow of events, but a space for perverse games, where he disrupts cause-and-effect relationships, knowing that the consequences of his actions will never be clear, and he himself can never predict how his interventions will alter the course of events.

Kaires Noelia 🕯️ ⟾ Reference

Aliases: Angel of Death

Status: Holds the Earth from destruction, protected by her beloved mother (moment: end of the prologue)

Kaires prefers to wear a school uniform or cute outfits, most often in a gothic style — which seems strange for such a powerful being. Her fondness for school uniforms likely stems from a love of Japanese cuisine, sweets, and fast food.

She could easily break all the laws of the world, but... why bother?

When she walks into a bakery or supermarket, she takes whatever she desires with an impassive expression, as though everything around her simply exists for her.

Like a cat, she softly purrs next to her mother, tilting her head to rest under her palm. For Kaires, her mother is not just a figure; she is the very foundation of her existence, her unwavering guide. But beneath her infinite faith in her mother lies not only devotion, but a power that could be unleashed if the world disappoints her. For Kaires, it is enough just to be near the one who gave birth to her — her belief in her mother is endless and unshakeable.
