An unknown amount of time passed before Alex finally woke up. The bed was soaked with his sweat and he was still feeling a slight throbbing headache.
He slowly raised himself up and rested his back on his pillow. He was still feeling disoriented from the knowledge transfer.
He remembered that the system did tell him that he will feel pain but he wasn't prepared for the imploding pain that wracked his brain.
It took him a couple of seconds to some minutes before he felt that he was finally awake, and no longer disoriented.
He got out of bed and walked to the control panel, pressed it and called for Natalia and Natalie to come take care of his sweat soaked bed.
After that, he walked into the bathroom to take his bath and wash off the sweat that has now coated his body.
A couple of minutes later, he came out feeling refreshed and he saw that Natalie, and Natalia had already taken care of the bed, and the room. As it was now smelling nice.
Alex didn't pay much attention to that as he walked to his wardrobe and put on some light clothes.
With that done, he decided to check his status, to see what changed.

Looking at his status, he noticed that his Intelligence stat has increased by 1.5 point, going from 5 to 6.5.
He had no idea that absorbing knowledge would increase but it was a welcomed development for him.
He was still curious about the system mechanics regarding stat increase but that's something that he will ask the system later.
What he was more interested in right now is the [Financial Mathematics] primary branch knowledge in his knowledge section.
He smiled to himself as he focused on that part of his status screen and he saw it expand, showing all the specialised knowledge under it.
Seeing that he has already gotten a hang of it, he smiled to himself. Now, it was time for him to go through all the specialised knowledge he had received.
"System, when I want to check the specialised knowledge, should I focus on them individually or the primary branch it's under?" He asked curiously.

Immediately, he felt a lot of information flooding his brain and he felt a slight migraine, but it quickly disappeared.
Alex started going through the information in his head and he was shocked to say the least.
In his previous life, due to how swamped he was with trying to survive each day, he had no idea of just how much the world had advanced in tech and science.
But he knew that it was by a lot.
If it wasn't for this body's intelligence, education and exposure, he will still have no idea.
And what was surprising was that Alex had just done a short skim of information provided by all the specialised knowledges under the primary knowledge branch, [Financial Mathematics], and he found himself amazed at just how behind was on tech and science.
From what he saw, he can not only create an idea that can be passively farming money from the financial market, but actually secretly control it, without anyone having any idea what's happening.
He can also make it that anything that he can constantly get information about anything that's happening in the financial market, and everything must have to go through him. And even much more when it comes to the global financial market.
In essence, he will have the world's financial market at his mercy.
Of course, everything sounds good but he will need a lot of computing power to achieve something like that. And Earth currently doesn't have any tech that's even remotely close to handle such high computing.
One might mention the NYSE, NASDAQ and other top entities that uses high computing powers, like Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Meta, but they don't come close.
To achieve something like that, Alex will need government-level infrastructure. And that's currently impossible with how undeveloped Earth's technological advancement is.
"Damn! The system wasn't joking when it said that all the knowledge are highly advanced and beyond Earth's current level of understanding," he smiled to himself.
Alex felt like someone that was suddenly handed the launch keys to a nuclear warhead that can wipe out the whole world.
He was actually curious about something and decided to ask the system.
"System, how much is the total for all the specialised knowledge under [Financial Mathematics]?"

Alex's eyes widened in shock when he heard and he exclaimed.
"What?!"

He couldn't believe it. He actually had no idea just how lucky he was for getting all the specialised knowledges with the starter pack.
Except the $10 million he spent to unlock the core knowledge, this means that he was given a discount of $377 million.
Crazy!
Yeah, it is. But if you ask Alex if the primary knowledge branch is worth the $377 million, he will tell you that it's actually a steal.
The kind of knowledge he has is something that people will kill for. The world's governments and every entity that has a stake in the world's financial market will pay any amount to obtain the knowledge in his possession.
Alex sighed to himself, steadying his emotions. He understood that this wasn't the time to be in awe. It was time to get to work. And that's what he will do.
He walked to his bedroom door, opened it and stepped, and started making his way to his study, where his laptop is.
There's money to be made and to do that, he has to create the module that will be helping to farm that money passively.
