Passing through the door wasn't difficult at all. After all, it was intangible.
The problem came after I entered through the door, the thing is…
I'm stuck in darkness or what seems to be that 'Void' of space.
I can't nor can I feel anything.
Well, now what?
I chose the door of the elegant serpent out of three which included that woman and that thing which stabbed my eye.
It didn't hurt, though; it just passed through my body like a phantom.
It was intangible too.
I haven't even spent a full minute inside this void and I already want to leave.
Who wouldn't? Those who say they would are either liars or just plain stupid.
It felt weird, walking in darkness is usually weird.
I also need to fear bumping into something…
Let's just go forward and see what happens.
Which was a stupid decision.
Pure stupidity.
I fell.
And the feeling of hitting the ground didn't come, I just kept on falling.
Not onto the ground but through it.
A huge fall.
Oh?
My my, this is a weird feeling for sure.
Falling through the darkness seems and feels like a unique and odd experience.
Usually, I should be worried about my safety, but from what I have previously observed, no matter what I did, it seemed like I couldn't hurt myself.
Well, I can't be sure if this would also be the same, but I should hope it is, right?
So I just resigned to the fall, with my hands spread and eyes closed.
There was no wind, no pressure, nothing.
Just emptiness.
The only reason for me to believe I was falling was the lack of feeling the ground on my feet.
And then…
I sped up.
A force suddenly weighed me down and the speed of my fall increased,
It didn't hurt but it just felt weird.
What?
And then…
With a sudden crash, I hit the ground; well, I was almost destroyed by the way I felt it sink. Maybe I might've even left a small crater.
The blunt impact was disorienting and nausea-inducing, and I was just lying there with the support of my elbows.
This…feels like soil? No, it smells like it too.
Well, that was a surprise.
I was on the soil.
And do you remember the part where I mentioned that I created a crater? Well, through the cracks light shine through.
Literally bright white light.
Eye-watering light.
And just like a moth to a flame, I started digging, making the cracks bigger and bigger just enough to fit a me-sized human.
Is this safe? Is this the exit?
Who knows.
And why stress about the things you don't know about?
I can't know without entering it after all.
And thus I plunged into the light.
…
A black and white atmosphere and colour scheme, fresh dews of rain still lingered on the tree leaves, people holding umbrellas walked around hurriedly and…tombstone.
Yes, tombstones.
A cemetery?
Where even am I?
It seems like it just rained and some trees are surrounding the cemetery…
Some people holding umbrellas are around here, probably here to meet their dead relatives or friends…
And I…
I looked towards my waist and saw a tombstone.
Yes, I was phasing out of a tombstone.
I immediately stood up from it and got onto the small pathway meant for living humans.
So I went through the light and came out from a tombstone huh?
I turned around and checked the name of the tombstone I came from.
George.
…
It isn't mine.
Luckily.
If it was I would've assumed that this place was trying to convey to me that I was dead.
Which I would've assumed without fail.
Now…
I glanced all around the cemetery.
Why do all these people have snakes wrapping around them?
Not only the alive people, the cemetery was infested with snakes.
All kinds of them.
And…is that a legit anaconda?
It was coiled around one of the trees, staring at me…
A snake-infested cemetery, huh?
What now?
I slowly made my way through the human trail while avoiding the snakes on the way; a few feet away from me was a family of four, and they seemed completely unaware of the existence of these snakes.
Despite the fact that I could find atleat ten of them on the youngest child, the adults both seemed to be enveloped by hundreds of snakes.
Their faces were indiscernible and to be honest Im not even sure if they're a family due to the snakes embracing them.
Well, what else could they be?
I slowly followed the family of four while keeping an eye out on the snakes, I followed them until they made a complete round around the cemetery.
Oh well.
As of now, I have noticed three things.
First, this cemetery is infested with snakes which was quite obvious.
Second, they are oblivious to the fact that these things exist.
Third, I can't leave this place as it is literally in the sky, this plot of land was literally floating in the sky.
Well, I could try to jump off but an invisible barrier stopped me...
Honorable mention, the family seems robotic, no, they are robotic.
They just replaced the same course of actions every time.
They complete a round around the cemetery, come back to that particular grave and pay their respects.
Nothing else.
That grave wasn't any special, I investigated it many times already.
And each time they completed a round, more snakes latched onto them...
Just what does this mean? Is this a clue? A hint or something that doesn't matter?
Is it symbolic? Am I supposed to crack a code or is there a specific course of action I have to take to escape?
Just what exactly should I do now?
Let me think...
This is my fifth time following the family right now, the amalgamation of snakes walked just a few steps away from me.
I can't lie I was starting to get disgusted by now...
God I hate snakes...
I want to leave this place as soon as possible.
