Two hours later, Shin stepped out of a sleek UW transport vehicle and into the gates of Hano Medical University. The sun was high, warm on his skin.
A fresh breeze blew through the polished marble campus. This wasn't some ordinary college. The once-prestigious university had been converted into a state-of-the-art UW breeding and education hub. Behind the trimmed hedges and elegant walkways were dormitories, labs, training halls, clinics, and above all else, women.
Dozens of them.
All gorgeous. All dressed in either sleek UW candidate uniforms or casual, body-hugging clothes. Some stopped mid-conversation when they saw him. Others gasped. A few smiled knowingly.
"Guess the rumors are already here," Shin muttered.
Behind him, Doctor Yuna, Rei, and Misaki followed, wheeling their respective equipment carts. The assistants kept quiet, but even their cheeks were pink from the attention they drew walking with him.
A UW agent escorted them through the main path, past courtyards and lecture buildings, until they reached a luxurious tower set apart from the rest of the dorms.
"This will be your residence," the agent said briskly. "Director Tanaka has approved your private suite on the top floor. You'll have access to medical support, daily nutritional service, tailored academic scheduling, and a biometric security lock."
The elevator was spacious, all tinted glass and soft lighting. As it climbed to the top, Shin noticed a handful of girls on the lower floors peeking up at it as it passed. Some waved while others stared at him.
"Is it always like this?" he asked, glancing at Yuna.
"You're the only functioning male in a school of over a thousand women, Shin," she said while sighing. "Yes. It's going to be like this."
"Good," he replied with a smirk.
The doors opened to a luxurious penthouse suite.
It was modern, warm-toned, and spacious. A king-sized bed sat beneath a large skylight. The floor was sleek hardwood. The glass walls led to a wraparound balcony with a view of the entire campus. There was even a private bath and office space. It was a place for a King.
"Huh," Shin said, dropping onto the bed. "This is nicer than my last place... and that was before the world ended."
"Make yourself at home," Yuna said. "We'll set up your medical station in the back room."
"Don't get too comfortable, though," Rei added. "You have a meeting in twenty minutes."
"Already?" Shin groaned.
He got up from the bed and unpacked his belongings. He took a quick tour around the room to familiarize himself. He checked the closet to put his clothes away. Shin noticed a few drawers in the spacious closet. He opened one up and smiled as he noticed an assortment of BDSM equipment inside. Looks like they already have me set, he thought to himself.
Once he was finished, Doctor Yuna and his assistants escorted him downstairs to the heart of the administrative wing, where President Aria Momo awaited him. She stood as he entered.
Tall. Refined. Late 30s or early 40s. Wavy chestnut brown hair. Generous curves beneath a lavender blazer and silk blouse. Deep red lips. Warm brown eyes with a playful sparkle. She radiated class, confidence, and the faint scent of jasmine. A true MILF.
"You must be Code Number 6," she said, smiling. "Welcome to Hano."
"Shin Kratos," he replied, offering his hand. "You're not what I expected."
"And what did you expect?" she teased.
"An old bureaucrat with glasses and a clipboard."
She laughed at the comment. Her voice was rich.
"You'll find this campus has its own style."
She led him to a sitting area, where tea had already been poured.
"I wanted to personally welcome you. Not just because of your status, but because this university is part of a very delicate balance. We're not just here to breed the next generation. We're here to guide it."
Shin sipped. "Sounds a little cult-y."
"Only if you resist," she said with a wink.
He raised an eyebrow. "So you've seen my file."
"Extensively." She crossed her legs, drawing his eyes to the exposed skin above her thigh-high stockings. "And let me clarify a few things: every woman at Hano is here by choice. No one is forced into the breeding program. You'll find no victims here, Shin."
"They're all volunteers?"
"More than that. They're eager. You'll meet students, nurses, scientists, trainers, and even instructors. All of them are cleared for mating compatibility. Every woman who approaches you will do so because she wants to."
Shin leaned forward, eyes gleaming. "And how many of them are compatible?"
"With your genetic rating?" she said, swirling her tea. "All of them."
He nearly laughed. "That's a lot of eager wombs."
"And very few rules," she said smoothly. "The UW will monitor your health, track your activity, and make sure consent and safety are maintained. But beyond that... we trust you to lead."
Shin stood, cracking his neck.
"Then let me say this right now. I'm not interested in playing pet to some committee."
Aria stood as well, meeting his gaze with a sly smile.
"Good. Pets obey. We want a lion."
Later that evening, back in his penthouse, Shin lay shirtless on his couch. The sun had set, casting long shadows through the glass. On the wall-mounted screen, a UW broadcast played.
"This is Code Number 2, Reito Mizuhara," the voice said, calm and collected. "I believe we can still find a cure to the MK Virus, if we continue working together. Humanity deserves more than just survival, it deserves healing."
Shin stared at the screen. Reito was clean-cut, articulate, and surrounded by stacks of scientific papers and sterile lab instruments.
"Typical," Shin muttered.
He reached for the remote and shut it off. The room fell into silence.
Shin stood, stretched, and walked to the balcony, looking down at the campus bathed in silver moonlight. A few girls still wandered below. A few lights still glowed in dorm windows.
He grinned.
"Cure the world?" he said to himself.
"No thanks. I'll rule it instead."
He turned, stripped off his pants, and climbed into bed.
"Let's see how long it takes before they all start calling me Master."
