Chapter 10 - An unexpected event

Day 600.

Level 121 was filled with light and sound.

The survivors were celebrating the unification of two Base Foundations.

Kael was smiling. Lune hugged Raven from behind, laughing softly.

Tessa forced Raven to taste her freshly baked bread.

And Elira... she embraced him tightly, whispering:

"I want this day... to last forever."

Raven nodded. "Me too."

But the skies of Level Space… never forgave happiness.

14:07 PM — the Foundation's energy sensors stained the monitors in deep red.

Five points.

Unmeasurable.

Class: Impossible.

"This… this isn't just an attack," Kael whispered.

"THIS IS ANNIHILATION!"

The walls of Level 121 collapsed in a single second.

An invisible wave crashed through three floors simultaneously.

Foundation agents were torn apart before they could even lift their weapons.

The medical wing evaporated. The training grounds burned without fire.

And when Raven opened his eyes…

Elira was gone from his arms.

He ran.

Through corridors painted with blood.

"ELIRA!"

"LUNE!"

"KAEL!"

No answer.

Only screams. Then silence.

Then laughter.

And they appeared:

Five nameless entities.

Anomaly Impossible Class.

Without fixed forms.

Representing concepts: destruction, nullification, betrayal, extinction, and the erasure of love.

Raven lunged. He attacked.

But his hand vanished before it even touched one of them.

His face burned from within, his skin shredded by sound.

He kept standing.

Because he had to protect.

He had to…

"RAVEN!!"

That voice—Elira.

She was running toward him.

But one of the entities touched the ground, and time shattered.

Raven saw:

Elira… torn apart from within.

No sound.

No blood.

Only her eyes, staring back at him.

As if saying…

"I'm sorry."

"AaaaaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Something erupted inside Raven.

Not rage.

Not power.

But emptiness.

And from within his body, a spiritual vortex opened like a dimensional rift.

From Circle 7, he surged to Circle 13.

His body ignited, exploded, rose, transformed.

His eyes were no longer purple.

But black. Hollow. Burning red from within.

His blood turned to mist.

His breath vibrated the dimensions.

And in a single step, he obliterated one of the entities with a punch.

His body tore apart with every move.

Yet those wounds did not heal.

They fed the energy of retribution.

The second entity was destroyed by a mere breath, the air itself slicing through its existence.

The third tried to erase him from reality, but Raven held back the process with sheer willpower.

"If I cease to exist…

then what will fight you… is the emptiness itself."

And he did it.

All five Impossible Class were dead.

Not escaped.

Not sealed.

Dead.

But all of it…

Too late.

Kael? Buried.

Tessa? Pulled into a vortex.

Lune? Gone without a trace.

Elira? Ash.

Level 121 became a silent graveyard.

Raven stood among the ruins, his body torn and bleeding.

And in that silence… footsteps emerged.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Followed by laughter.

And through the crimson mist, he appeared.

A cracked mask. A torn smile. Blackened eyes.

A002N. Scary Clown.

"Wooooow," he said, clapping slowly.

"You won… How marvelous."

Raven stared at him.

No reaction.

No attack.

Scary Clown stepped closer.

"Even I couldn't kill them. But you…"

He grinned.

"You killed five Impossibles.

But you know what the funniest part is?"

Raven remained silent.

Scary Clown chuckled.

"You still lost."

"Because everything you tried to protect… still died."

"You're still alone."

He bent forward, staring into Raven's eyes—now void of any light.

"The ending's always the same, Raven.

You're just… a monster pretending to be a hero.

And heroes… always fail in the end."

Clown left.

Leaving Raven.

Alone.

Shaking.

Weak.

And empty.

Raven fell to his knees.

His hand grasped at Elira's ashes.

And then the scream erupted.

Deeper than a human voice.

Older than suffering.

Bitterer than regret.

It was the cry… of a soul that no longer believed in anything.

And beneath Level 121… something heard that scream.

Oblivion.

And it whispered:

"Finally, my child…

you are ready."
