As the brilliant light dimmed, I stared in awe as the Sword of Inferno and the Sword of Earth floated in front of me, their energy now intertwined like twin dragons. Slowly, they merged into a single, elegant blade—flickering with both crimson flames and a deep green earthen glow.
"…System," I muttered, eyes wide, "why did they combine?"
Ding!
Host, the swords were crafted to become one. Together, they form a dual-element spiritual weapon, allowing you to wield both fire and earth techniques.
I nodded in understanding. "That's incredible… but wait—don't I get any skills from the second sword?"
Ding!
New Skill Detected: Earth Seal – Five Hand Palm.
Would you like to learn this skill? Y/N
I grinned. "Yes."

Skill Learned: Earth Seal – Five Hand Palm
I clenched my fist, feeling the power of the new technique pulsing through my veins. "A spiritual palm-type attack? Hehe… this is going to be fun."
But then I felt the drain in my body. My spiritual energy was still dangerously low.
"System, do you have anything to restore my energy?"
Ding!
Spiritual Recovery Pills available. Price: 100 XP per pill.
I blinked. "What are you trying to do—rob me?"
System nodded silently.
"…Ah fine. Just give me one."
Ding!

A glowing pill appeared in my palm. I swallowed it instantly. Warmth surged through me, my body refreshed and my energy fully restored.

I laughed softly. "That's more like it. Time to leave this place."
I mounted my sword and flew skyward, weaving through the dense treetops. I retraced my path, quickly passing through each level of the Demon Mountain—Level Five, Four, Three, Two, and finally One.
As I soared out of the forest's edge, I saw a familiar silhouette waiting in the distance. It was Shen Hua.
I descended beside him. "Brother Shen?"
Shen Hua's expression relaxed into relief. "You finally came back. I was worried—you disappeared for three days without a trace."
I clasped my fist in respect. "Brother Shen, why are you still here?"
Shen Hua smiled. "Actually, I've been waiting. You haven't joined any sect yet, right? If you're interested, you can join High Heaven Sect."
I paused, thoughtful. "I would like that… but there's a problem."
"Oh?" Shen Hua raised an eyebrow. "What kind of problem?"
"I can't stay in one continent for long," I said seriously. "I have to keep traveling, exploring… my journey doesn't stop here."
To my surprise, Shen Hua didn't look disappointed.
"No problem," he said. "High Heaven Sect has a tradition. If a disciple can defeat a senior member in combat, they are allowed to travel freely on their cultivation journey—and return when they are ready."
I blinked. "Really?"
He nodded. "Really."
I looked up at the sky, feeling the wind rush past. A new sword in hand, a new skill in my veins, and now… a sect waiting for me.
I turned back to Shen Hua and smiled.
"Then I'll join."
Together, we rose into the sky and flew out of the Demon Mountain.
