I woke up to see sharp light which is piercing through my eyes, my body hurt but where am I. I slowly come to my sense, to see myself in the hospital bed. New is sleeping in sofa which is placed beside bed. I try to remember about yesterday but my head starts to heart, New was holding me and he protected me like old day.
I still remember how I met him, its the day when I got transferred for the New school. Its was my very first day, teacher introduced me as a new transfer student and he asked me to introduce myself. I introduced myself with my name and my place where I live but someone threw a piece of paper at me. All students started to laugh, teacher shouted at the students to stay quietly . I moved to empty place in middle which come is 5th row still there were many kids behind me.
During a period someone pulled my hair back,I turn back angrily to see New laughing at me. He was the most notorious bad guy in the school. I strictly avoided to see such person, I got new friends one of them is katie you all know. I and katie used be always together. One day when i entered the class, I dashed to New by mistake. I fell on the ground, my hand was bleeding because it hit the wall.
I silently started to walk towards my place, I took my bag to aid my wound. New didn't even bother look back at me. After in break period a girl who is very beautiful walks in the direction of me
"Hey, come with me girl, New is calling you"
"No, I don't want to come. I have some other work"
"Be ready for the consequence "
She moves back with full attitude still am not his worker. After 5 min big group of kids come walking in the hallway towards our class. New is walking infront of them, I know they are coming for me. I act like am studying, he slaps a hand on my desk
"Do you need any special invitation, when I call everyone one need to come. Understand? " I got up from my seat and started walk outside of the class. Before I could walk away he grabbed my hands tucked it to the wall holding it tightly.
"Let me go" I struggle under him,
"Are you deaf can't you hear me?! You should obey me if you want to survive here"
I know, i cannot escape from his grip, I bend forward and kiss him softly. This is very first time am kissing someone. He slowly released my hands, I push him backwards and ran away from there.
I don't know what will happen tomorrow in college. Its been only a week since I joined there what will I do. I take leave for next two days. Then I attend the school on the third day because am really nervous to face him. Morning I come early to avoid peoples, I hate crowds it irritates me.
All class students are staring at me like am dead walking corpse. Finally Katie arrives,
"Hey Mia, why were you absent for two days?"
"Hello, there some issues in home". I had to lie, but yes my mom is sick from a year. Doctor have confirmed she has stage for of cancer and there is a cure which will released end of this year. Till there we need to have hopes.
Katie leans close towards me,
" I heard you have kissed New. Damn, that's so bold of you"
"Shut up Katie, there was no other way to escape from him" New enters the room, I get goosebumps by see his face.
He looks at me his eyes are burning with anger,
"Ohh look, who is here today ?"
I don't reply to him, I put my head down thinking what to say.
"So how are you going to take responsibility for the kiss ?" he took that topic out now I have to make a reason for that,
"Its not a kiss, just my lips accidentally touched yours that it "
"Thats it, what do you mean? Whole class has seen it was clearly a kiss"
"Do you think yourself has most handsome guy, huh?" I push him aside and walk out of class.
After the few periods, we sports period. We all move towards ground, girls had to run laps around the ground. While boys had to pick the ball from ground.
I and Katie were running around the ground, I can feel someone staring at me. My every move was under watch, I check on surroundings. New, he is sitting on the side with his gang. He is staring at me as I stole his food.
