In the entirety of existence, there are various planes, that contain universes, multiverses, and so on of many sizes, each separated by the void wall.
Out of them, the Second plane is known as The Abandoned. This place contains the infinite 3-dimensional universe called Tefrat and includes the planet Primoria.
Existing above the First plane, The Lowest, where the Earthly universe is located, a finite 3-dimensional universe can be found, and the planet Earth is located in it.
There was a void wall between them, and it was nearly impossible to travel between planes, with the only exception being the path of reincarnation.
Sent through the endless Tefrat universe through the path of reincarnation was the only thing that allowed the mortal soul to reach Primoria, a blue and green giant planet with so many moons he could not begin to count them all, a planet incomparable to Earth in sheer magnitude.
In the vast immensity of Primoria, a supercontinent knowledge as Origo could be found, and there lay a vast collection of empires, 7 of them to be more exact, and among them, there are 2 human-dominated empires, The Meshve Empire, and The Holy Heroo Empire.
Taking place in the prior, there is a kingdom with the name, Saustia, a kingdom full of mages and scholars, where magic was present in the life of all, however, not everyone was pervy to knowledge.
Near the capital city of Ustia, there resided a forest containing blood-red trees, dangerous terrain, and even lava streams near the mountains, it was a hellish place most would avoid in any case.
Despite that, it was not uninhabited, monsters, magical beasts, among other creatures lived there with even humans being part of its echo system.
To the locals, it was the last place you would want to get lost in, not that things were different for those who lived in the forest.
No, even for them, hell was still hell.
Having existed for uncontested generations of people in such an environment, the Safrion tribe had built itself a strong identity as the only human stronghold to survive this place.
This same bastion of humanity in the wild, today experienced the birth of something more, a legend that would one day echo through this world, but right now things had to start from the beginning.
Weekday: Elemental day, 1st out of 10; Day: the 17th out of 60 days in a month; Month: Obty, 15th month out of 23 in a year;
Time: 26 out of 48 hours in a day; Minutes: 37 out of 60 minutes in an hour; Second: 46 out of 60 seconds in a minute; Daytime: Midray.
At that exact timeframe, Kriantis Virelan Oxalith was born.
In an abode home built of wood, and filled with animals' pelts, bones, and all manner of stone-based tools.
Laying in a carefully crafted oval-shaped nest-like fur cradle, Kriantis looked around as he felt himself come to be completely, and the vivacity of the world around him, made him squirm, it had been ages since the last time he truly saw things with eyes of his own.
No longer confined to his soul merely, he regained a physical body.
(I'm back… This is great… I'm a baby… Well, I should have expected this, but still, it feels oddly refreshing to live again, maybe better than before…) A smile came to him as the involuntary giggle of a baby left his mouth and he had no say in it.
There he was bubbling from his mouth, a little youngling with dark skin, black hair with platinum underneath, golden eyes, and body markings the very same ones he got from the white present box, engraved on his body.
[System initialization in progress... 98%…]
(Great! I'll have it soon then, and after that, I'll start training to become as strong as I can. For now, my focus should be on understanding this world and how it works. Where's my famil-) Kriantis nodded to himself an act that ended up much cuter than he'd imagined in his currently little head.
At that time, a woman came into the house, she was a woman with long black hair, brown eyes, dark skin, sharp features, and a muscular body and wearing a pelt top, as well as a pelt skirt.
Standing at 179cms, she was quite the unit, with two battle axes on her, having one straddled on each side of her waist.
She immediately smiled and walked closer, before leaning in and saying.
"*Oh! You're finally awake sweetheart, so adorable. You have your father's eyes, my hair, and the markings of the ones above. To have a blessed child is my pleasure.*"
Every word out of her mouth was foreign to him, not one could be understood.
(Oh, yeah new world, so of course new language. I'm way too used to reading stories without this problem. Still, I'll get the hang of it.) Kriantis smiled at her.
"*Look at you! Kriantis, you're the cutest thing ever! The superior baby!*" She got even closer and lifted him off his cradle before holding him close.
From there she began breastfeeding him until he stopped drinking.
Until another person walked in.
He was a slender but strong man with a muscular build, short dark blue hair, golden eyes, dark skin, and wearing a loincloth.
Standing at 187cms, he had a large thick sword on his back, a greatsword among great swords, something of a buster sword.
Every step was calm, and he hugged her from behind holding her close before kissing her cheek, and then he leaned in to lightly caress Kriantis with his finger on the little lad's cheek.
"*Ah! He has your nose, and my eyebrows, truly a moment of greatness. I wonder what it will take to show promise. Then again, such a blessed child might just take over from a young age.*" He smiled at him making a few faces and expressions to make him laugh.
Unfortunately, the baby didn't have much of a reaction, too busy obversing him.
(So these are my parents? Not bad, if I grow up to be like them that's a guaranteed pretty boy status…) Kriantis thought to himself after getting a good look at both.
"*Let me hold him for a bit.*" The father asked and he was given the baby taking him into his arms.
This caused a smile to spread on his face as manly tears came to him, and so after a while, he kissed his son on the forehead, then gave him back to his mother.
"*I'll be sharpening my sword if you need you can leave your axes nearby and I'll sharpen them too.*" The father having cleaned his tears walked to the end of the house to sharpen his weapon.
After that, another set of steps came into their home, and it was a girl, carrying a wooden spear with a stone tip on her back.
She had long dark purple hair, brown eyes, features resembling the mother, a muscular physique, and she wore a long skirt and a top of pelts with fur.
Standing at 164cm she was much shorter than her parents, and just as quickly walked in to see the baby.
"*He's so small… cute. Looks like Dad, but has so many little things from Mom, even his ears like hers.*" She points out with a smile.
(Whoa… Too close, back up. I need some personal space, you know.) He wanted to reply but he could not, only a few noises would come out.
"*Hahaha! He's going to be strong with many wives, someday, I can already feel it! My second son! Maybe even become the chief!*" The father commented flexing his muscles as he thought of the idea.
"*Don't throw so much at a baby, let him grow, he's blessed but don't put too much. You have to remember what happened last time." The mother hit him on the head lightly as she talked to him, still holding the baby in her arms.
"*Fine, no training or anything until he's 4-*" The father nodded as he spoke.
However, the mother looked at him further.
"*7! Until he's 7!*" He forced a smile widely, then turned his focus back on sharpening his sword.
"*Good! Now look at your brother, he's so adorable, right? You were also this cute when you were a baby! Our babies are always the cutest.*" The mother smiled as she showed off her son to her daughter.
"*Really? I bet I was even prettier though." The daughter commented with her head held high.
"*Of course, sweetie, now hold your bother, you need to give it a try.*" The mother gave Kriantis into her arms.
"*He is so small… Ohhh! It's like he could break from anything... I have to protect him! Kriantis, don't worry your super pretty amazing sister will protect you always!*" The daughter said to him looking at the baby as if he was some precious ancient treasure that needed to be preserved.
"*That's enough, give him back.*" The mother reached in to get him.
(It's a bit dizzying to get passed around so much, being defenseless is way too scary, I need to get as strong as possible as soon as the system is on.) The baby's mind was elsewhere entirely.
However, things didn't work out like that.
"*No, Mom, you need to let me hold him longer! He likes being here, and I didn't have enough time yet!" The daughter refused to let go of the baby.
"*Hmph! No, you'll get your chance to do that later.*" The mother spoke and quickly snatched Kriantis from his sister with ease before the girl could even notice.
"*That's not fair! I should get to keep him for a bit long-*" The daughter was complaining until she noticed what her mother did, then crossed her arms. "*I just wanted a bit more time…*"
This caused the mother to shake her head lightly before saying. "*I told you, another day. Now go call your sisters, they need to meet Kriantis. Your brother.*"
Before she could even reply to her mother though, the next figure came present.
Having medium dark blue hair, brown eyes, features resembling her father, a muscular body, and wearing a pelt dress. A girl came in.
Standing at 145cm, she had a staff on her back and looked at the baby without a change to her blank expression.
"*Oh, the baby's awake, huh… nice, I imagine.*" The second daughter commented.
"*Come on! Look at this adorable little thing, he's so cute!*" The mother promoted to him with great pride.
"*Yeah! He's the most adorable after me, of course!*" The first daughter added also preaching the gospel of her baby brother.
All this while the father was watching this while he was seated on the ground sharpening his great sword.
"*That's true, I imagine.*" The second daughter nodded with little to no care in her eyes, just going with the flow to be left alone.
After that, both the mother and the first day kept insisting she had to hold him to change her mind.
It took some time, but she was made to hold the baby, and her expression didn't change at all, though she held the baby nice and cozy, being extra careful with him.
(Careful there! You almost let me fall!… Truly just saw my life flash past my eyes, imagine going back to Vireya already… Just no! I refuse such a humiliation!) He clenched his fist and looked even more adorable.
To the point, his second sister was attentively looking at him, and a smile almost formed.
"*Hehehe! Even the icy cold one can't resist the charm of my body bother.*" The first daughter commented filled with pride, to the point some might think it was her kid.
"*He's my bother too, I imagine.*" Rolling her eyes, the second daughter gave him back to her mother's arms, before walking past them, and grabbing hold of parchment to read.
"*Come here to mommy, good. Now girls, where's your sister?*" The mother asked them.
This led to both of the girls turning to the door as they waited for her.
Almost as if called upon through magic, she came in.
Standing at 120cms, while carrying a bow and arrow on her, she looked at everyone inside and found herself being the center of attention.
Her brown eyes blinked and she moved her hand to fiddle with her short platinum hair.
She was muscular in her physique and had features resembling both her parents.
"*Why is everyone looking at me?*" The third daughter questioned with a raised eyebrow,
"*Come and meet Kriantis! Our little brother!*" The first daughter came up to her and pulled her in taking her to their mother and new brother.
"*Can you keep it down, I'm trying to read.*" The second daughter commented with clear annoyance in her voice.
"*Don't mind her, here hold your brother.*" The mother gave him up to the third daughter having her hold him.
There was some silence as the first daughter and the mother both waited for a reaction from her, but there was none for a while before a frown formed.
"*Ehhh! Why do I have to hold it? Take it back.*" She immediately returned the baby jumping back to create some distance after doing so, the frown still visible on her face.
(Hey! Hey! Hey! My life is on the line here?! Are you crazy?!… That was terrible… Please keep me away from her…) Kriantis almost had a heart attack as a baby.
Shock filled the first daughter and the mother who both looked at each other in disbelief, heartbroken at such a reaction before a sigh was let out.
"*Hmph! Ungrateful brat, you should be happy you get to hold one almost as cute as me.*" The first daughter pointed her finger.
"*Ok! I don't care! Just let me be! I don't want it!*!" The third daughter responded.
"*Calm down you two. It's fine if she doesn't like holding him, babies are a big responsibility to deal with, so give her time. Now, girls, help me make dinner while I cuddle Kriantis to sleep.*" The mother got between them and stopped at that.
(Ok… So this is my family it seems… Considering how much they look like who I assume are my parents, they must be my sisters, at least cousins.
(Or aunts? Until I know sisters will work. Pretty full family… Huh… My and parents get way too busy… Anyway I better pretend to sleep while I wait for the system so they leave me alone.) The baby looked at everyone then internally sighed before closing his eyes.
After that, the baby soon fell asleep in his Mom's arms, while the girls got everything ready to prepare dinner and started with it.
Kriantis was put to sleep back on his cradle, while the girls got busy cooking.
At the same time, the father got up and went to the mother, before saying. "*I'll be out on a hunt with my squad until dinner. There's been some odd activity around the village.*"
In response to this, she nods and says. "*Ok, go well, and don't be late.*"
They kiss, and he goes on his merry way after giving a head pat to each of his daughters.
At the same time, Kriantis got another notification.
[System initiation complete!] A feminine voice could be heard in his head.
(Finally! It's here, with this I can start my journey.) He smiled fully determined to make use of it for his goals.
It was just what he wanted to hear on the first day of his new life was just halfway.
