Ling was an ordinary university student — a dreamer who spent countless nights marathoning One Piece episodes and debating Devil Fruits with his friends. After surviving his first brutal semester of exams, all Ling wanted was a peaceful vacation. Fate, however, had other plans. A tragic plane crash ends his life prematurely... or so he thought.

Since I'm the no.1 fan of One Piece, I decided to write this fanfic. I wanted Ling to represent us fans, who wanted to see Luffy's adventure in person. Not manga, not anime. I also want to cover some plot holes in the process.

I've been thinking that since blackbeared can eat 3 devil fruit because he have "3 souls" (it's everyone's theory), Ling who transmigrated into someone must have a 2 souls right?
