Chapter 10 - Chapter 09 - Magic & Special Weapons (Part 3)

---

"Haaa... Water Bridge!"

Roro successfully created a bridge made of seawater in an instant, using her magic. The rushing seawater gathered together, forming a bridge with floating stones on top. Those stones made it easier for us to cross.

"That's amazing, Roro. You're incredible," Bima said in awe, watching Roro's magic.

"For a Mage using magic for the first time, you're already impressive. Especially since not every Mage player can cast spells successfully on their first try," Yusa praised her.

"Thank you. It's all thanks to my Sponsor. They taught me the spell."

"Can you use any magic elements other than water, Roro?" Jay asked.

"I'm not sure, Jay. But it seems like my element is only water. I don't think I can use any other kind of elemental magic."

"Even so, that's already amazing. You might become a very powerful water Mage."

Magic is a special ability possessed by all players. However, magic is stronger when used by a player with the Mage Job. Players with the Mage Job have greater mana capacity than others, as their main ability lies in casting spells.

Magic consists of several basic elements that all players can have, such as Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Lightning. In addition to that, there are two rare magic elements—Light and Darkness—that only a few players possess.

We were all happy because the problem we had faced earlier was now resolved thanks to Roro's help. None of us expected her magic to be that useful.

But amidst the joy, Roro suddenly collapsed and fainted. This was the consequence of using a powerful spell. Her body became weak due to the depletion of her Mana Points, leaving her drained and powerless.

Thud... (Roro falls)

"Roro..." Everyone panicked as she fainted.

"Are you okay?" I rushed to help her.

"I'm sorry, everyone. My body suddenly feels weak."

"It seems the spell you used consumed too much mana. You should rest for now," Yusa explained.

"You're right, Yusa. Let's take Roro to the car so she can rest."

"Climb on my back, Roro. I'll carry you to the car," Bima said, lifting her gently.

"Sorry for the trouble, Bima."

"It's nothing. Consider it my thanks for the bridge you made."

Bima carried the exhausted Roro to the car and helped her in. We let her rest while we continued our journey.

"Alright, let's continue our trip."

"Yeah!"

After we all got into the car, Bima started the engine. We hoped there wouldn't be any more obstacles on the road—dealing with the broken bridge was enough.

"Hey, Bima. How much longer until we reach the city of Yogya?" I asked Bima.

"We're almost there. If nothing else gets in our way, we should arrive in about two hours."

"Alright, sounds good."

"Bima, can I ask you something?" Arya, who was usually quiet, suddenly spoke.

"Of course, Arya. Ask me anything. I'll answer as best as I can. Haha..."

"We've been driving this car all the way from Jakarta and now we're near Yogya. Do we still have enough fuel?" Arya asked Bima.

"??????" Bima froze, confused.

"You're right! How could I forget?! Ugh, we need to find a gas station before we run out of fuel." Bima panicked as he looked at the fuel gauge, which was almost pointing to E.

"How far can we still go?" Loka asked.

"I don't know, but probably not more than another kilometer. We need to find fuel fast, or we won't be able to continue our journey!" Bima was clearly anxious.

We all started to panic a bit after realizing that the car hadn't been refueled in a while. As we drove, we looked left and right, hoping to spot a functioning gas station.

"Hey, over there! That looks like a gas station," Loka pointed out.

"Really? Where?"

"Straight ahead, Bima," Loka guided him.

"Alright, let's go."

Bima quickly drove toward the gas station that Loka had seen. But when we arrived…

"This gas station is destroyed and unusable," Arya said, inspecting the broken fuel nozzle.

"Nooooo…" Bima groaned in disappointment.

"Well, we're just unlucky," Loka tried to console him.

"Alright, let's look for another one. Maybe there's still a working station nearby."

We resumed our search for fuel. After a long time searching, we found nothing. Eventually, the car stopped completely because it ran out of gas.

"Great, now the car is completely dead. I'm really sorry, everyone," Bima said, feeling guilty for forgetting to refuel at the last checkpoint.

"You don't have to apologize, Bima. Let's get out of the car," Loka said, urging us all to step out.

"Where can we get more fuel now?" Bima asked, looking lost.

"All the gas stations we passed were destroyed. But even so, shouldn't there still be some fuel left in the underground tanks?"

"You're right, Yusa. Even if the dispensers were broken, there should've been some leftover fuel inside. I don't understand where it all went..."

I thought the same—there should've been some fuel left. But when we checked, there wasn't a single drop.

"Should we split up? Maybe we'll find something useful we can use as fuel," I suggested.

"That's fine, but don't go too far. You guys go look around, and I'll stay here and watch over Roro," Loka said.

"Loka's right. She'll stay with Roro. Alright, let's go."

"Let's move."

Bima, Arya, Yusa, and I went our separate ways to search for fuel, while Loka stayed behind to look after Roro, who was still exhausted. I headed north, but found nothing except for destroyed buildings. I kept searching, but still came up empty.

After 30 minutes, we all returned to the car. Just like me, the others came back without finding anything useful. We began to wonder how we could reach Yogya without the car. We were so close—giving up now would mean everything we'd been through would be for nothing.

As night began to fall, we decided to spend the night where we were. We gathered some dry branches and made a campfire.

"How are we supposed to get to Yogya like this? More importantly, when will we get to Trowulan?" Arya complained, frustrated with our situation.

"Just be patient, Arya. We'll find a way," I tried to calm him down.

"But what's the solution? We can't even find any fuel!"

"Our best option is probably to continue on foot, if the car really can't go any further."

"That would take a lot more time. Plus, we're running low on supplies. There's always a new problem waiting for us."

While we were arguing and looking for a solution, Loka—who had been quietly sitting with Roro in the car—was actually thinking about something. Then she spoke up.

"Hey guys, do you think E-Commerce platforms sell everything we need?" Loka asked seriously.

"Of course. There's a lot of stuff sold on E-Commerce platforms. But are you sure there's one still working?" Bima asked back.

"Then let's check together. OPEN STORE!"

Loka opened the Store Window—the place where all items were sold and purchased. Not only could we buy monster drops and gear, but we could also sell our own items.

I suddenly remembered—not only monster loot can be sold or bought here, but also anything we own. How could I forget something this important? I hoped someone was selling fuel in the Store.

"You're right, Loka. Why didn't we check the Store earlier? Ugh, I totally forgot!" I said, frustrated with myself.

"Alright, let's see what's available. Materials, potions, accessories, armor, equipment... where is it? There's just too much here."

"Try typing in the search bar, Loka. Top right corner."

"You're right, Jay. There's a search bar. Let me type... G-a-s-o-l-i-n-e... search. There it is, guys!" Loka cheered.

"That's awesome, Loka!" Bima was thrilled.

"How much do we buy?"

"How much does it cost?"

"20 gold coins for one jerrycan. How about we buy two? Will that be enough?"

"That's enough. But… how do we receive the item?" Bima asked, puzzled.

"I'm not sure, Bima. Let me try. Okay, select, click buy, done. I think we just wait."

Sringgg... (A magical flash appeared in front of us)

"There it is! The item just appeared! Look!"

"This is insane—there's not even a shipping fee. Haha..."

"Here's the gas, Bima. Take it. Each of you owes me 5 gold coins."

"Where did you get that much gold?" Yusa asked curiously.

"I sold some of my items earlier. Now I've got plenty of coins."

"In that case, I should check my items too." I checked what I had listed.

"Yeah, I'll check mine too," Yusa said.

"Yay, everything sold! Now I can save up for that cool armor. Hahaha..." Bima said happily.

Loka had purchased fuel through the system's Store. At first, I thought the Store only sold combat-related gear and monster loot. But it turns out, almost everything can be sold here.

Besides fuel, food, drinks, household items, and even houses were available—though for an enormous price. All of these goods were made by Production Class players, who processed raw materials into useful items.

In addition to crafted goods, general Job Classes could also sell natural resources like vehicle fuel. This was extremely helpful, especially during times of crisis, since some natural resources were still usable and could be traded in the Store for coins to survive.

Loka handed the fuel to Bima, who then poured it into the car's tank. I helped him refuel. After that, we returned to the campfire where our friends had already started to fall asleep. I looked at their tired faces and decided to get some rest too.

"You're not sleeping, Bima? What are you doing?" I asked, noticing Bima looking at something in the Store.

"I'm checking out some armor and combat gear I want to buy later. Look at these insane prices."

"Why are you buying armor?"

"I want to pair it with my sacred weapon."

Bima was right—armor, equipment, and potions were crucial in battles. We didn't know what kind of monsters awaited us ahead. I needed to save up coins to buy proper gear too.

"Hey, Jay. Do you know about S and SS grade weapons and armor? These are super rare items, right?"

"Yeah, Bima. As far as I know, SS grade is the highest tier. The quality must be amazing. But who can even craft something that good?"

"It says here... created by the Incarnation of Hephaestus."
