Chapter 26 - 26. Secret Deals in Raccoon City

One day later, David sat in his bar, finalizing a big deal. With Wesker's help, a transaction for five hundred smuggled cars was complete. The cars, sourced from the Nexus Point, sold out quickly at twenty thousand dollars each. Five hundred cars meant ten million dollars in profit. It wasn't a fortune, but it was a guaranteed win.

"South America's resources are rich," David said, leaning back. "We could develop there, turn raw materials into steel for quick cash. Whatever makes money fastest, I'm in. Got any ideas?"

David slid a million dollars across the table. "Your cut."

Wesker glanced at the cash, confirmed it wasn't counterfeit, and stashed the briefcase. "South Africa has more iron ore," he said. "You could expand there. If you need manpower, I know someone. Brandon Bailey, head of the Umbrella Africa Research Center in West Africa. He's not loyal to Umbrella and lacks ambition. Worth a try."

"Sounds good," David said. "Also, set up a meeting with William. We could work together. He's a genius."

David took Brandon's contact info with a nod. Brandon was Marcus's top student, and Marcus was the ultimate boss in the zero generation. * A connection like that could open doors, * David thought.

"Tonight," Wesker said. "Shift change at the lab. We can get in."

David smiled. The deal was set, and their partnership was still smooth. Meanwhile, his border factory was up and running, a black-market operation churning out guns for South America's unstable markets. It was another hidden income stream. Black or white, if it paid, David was game.

At eight that evening, Raccoon City was calm. No biohazard crisis yet, just peace and nightlife. People ate, drank, gambled, and paid for sex. David had already cornered the city's underground, pulling in ten thousand dollars daily. Not bad for a small mountain town, though bigger cities could yield more. Raccoon City was new to growth, its economy still modest.

Inside Umbrella's underground lab, David posed as a helmeted soldier in tactical gear, trailing Wesker. They passed multiple security checks before reaching the inner research area. Elite scientists worked on pharmaceuticals, with virus research as just one project. To them, it was a success.

At the lab's deepest section, staff were sparse. A blonde researcher leaned against a table, report in hand, her curvy hips outlined by her lab coat. Her bare feet, in eight-centimeter heels, showed off long legs. A cigarette dangled from her red lips, odd for a no-smoking lab. She nodded curtly at Wesker, saying nothing.

Inside a private research room, locked by codes and permission, a scruffy blonde man hunched over experiments. "Wesker, I told you not to bother me during work," he snapped.

"I brought someone who might help," Wesker said, unfazed. William was one of his few friends, but only just.

The man, William Birkin, looked up, bloodshot eyes narrowing at David, who removed his helmet. "Who are you?"

"David Stoll," David said, grinning. "I run Raccoon City's underground. Nice to meet you, Doctor William. A genius who outdid the prodigy Alexia deserves respect. I'm here to talk business."

David's flattery softened William's scowl. As a genius, William was fiercely jealous, unable to tolerate rivals. His vanity craved praise. * He's predictable, * David thought. * Stroke his ego, and he's mine. *

"William Birkin," William said, calming. "What do you want?"

"You're a genius, and Umbrella won't let your work go," David said. "They'll take it or kill you. I'm a businessman, not into bioweapons or viruses. I'm building an internet empire. Normally, we'd never cross paths, but I like knowing talented people for future needs. If you're in trouble, call me. I'll help. Oh, and I stopped some thugs from kidnapping your daughter, Sherry, today. Consider it my gift. Just common criminals with records."

William snorted. "All that just to meet me?"

"Not quite," David said, smiling. "Your wife, Annette, knows computers. I want to work with her. Since you're her husband, I figured I'd meet the genius first."

William's eyes flickered. He glanced at Wesker. "Can he be trusted?"

"Probably," Wesker said, adjusting his sunglasses. "I'm working with him."

William nodded. "Go talk to Annette. I need to speak with Wesker."

David stepped outside, where Annette had finished her cigarette. She barely glanced at him. "I'm David," he said. "William sent me to talk."

Annette was stunning, with a fit body and modest B-cup breasts. * Barely touched, * David thought. * With more action, those would grow. * He smirked. * Slow and steady. She'll be mine when the time's right. *

"What about?" Annette asked, her tone flat.

David explained his software design idea, but Annette cut him off. "I don't do that," she said. "I study viruses. You've got the wrong person." Her bluntness matched William's. * No wonder they're married, * David thought.

Inside, William grilled Wesker. "What's that guy after? Annette doesn't know software."

"I don't know," Wesker said. "He's useful, though. Umbrella's not safe. A backup plan's smart. Maybe he wants Annette as leverage. Partnerships are like that."

"Leverage?" William scoffed. "He's not worthy."

"He's not strong, but he's reliable," Wesker said. "If he's after your research, say no. If it's something else, he's fine to work with."

William frowned, thinking. He emerged later, seeing David smoking. "David, right? Go home. I'll call if I want to work together."

David grinned. "Sure. As long as the money's good, I'm in."

He didn't push. His real goal was William's G-Virus, but that would come later. Patience was key.

Back on the surface, David lit a cigarette in his car. "William's an arrogant fool," he said. "And you, Wesker, watch out. Your boss Sergei doesn't like you. That's all the intel I've got."

"I know," Wesker said. He was already done with Umbrella, siphoning its resources for his own gain.

"He'll kill you," David warned. "Don't die. Good partners are hard to find." He started the car and drove off. The night's work was done.

Late that night, in Umbrella's lab, William raged, sweeping equipment off his desk. Annette rushed to him. "William, what's wrong?"

"Umbrella's sending people to meddle with my G-Virus," he growled. "It's nearly done, maybe a year or two. They want to steal my work!"

Annette didn't question him, though she'd seen Umbrella's letter. They wanted to share the G-Virus data, not take it. Still, she supported her husband. "What's your plan?"

"Wesker's right," William said. "We need an exit. Umbrella's a dead end. I'll stall them. What about David? Is he reliable?"

"David?" Annette said, frowning. "The guy from tonight? He's cunning. Not easy to work with."

"Can we trust him?" William pressed, already half-decided.

"I don't know," Annette said. "Wesker trusts him. We could try."

"Then we'll work with him," William said. He'd heard the police chief, Irons, was in David's pocket. That was enough. He grabbed a private phone, avoiding the lab's monitored lines.

At that moment, David was in his room, enjoying two women. Cindy, shy at first, had warmed to sharing him with Shin Woo. * This is heaven, * David thought, his dick sliding into Cindy's tight pussy. The familiar thrill surged, her body trembling under him.

Cindy and Shin Woo wore sheer, crotchless stockings, their legs stunning. David thrust into Cindy, kissing Shin Woo deeply, savoring the double pleasure. His phone rang. He grabbed it, still moving. "Yeah?"

Shin Woo slid behind him, her tongue teasing his ass, slipping inside to stimulate his sweet spot. * Fuck, she's good, * David thought, gasping as the sensation intensified, his dick throbbing harder.

Cindy, seeing him on the phone, covered her mouth to stifle her moans, her brows furrowed as he fucked her. She looked irresistibly sexy.

It was William. "David? It's William."

"Yep," David said, keeping his pace. "What's up?"

"I'm in," William said. "How do we work together?"
