I arrive back at the Inn mid-afternoon and make my way over to the curvy barmaid. This time I am not just making an excuse to get another peek at her peaks; I actually need something from her.
As I approach, she looks at me and flashes me a cheeky grin. 'Did you find the adventurer's guild ok?'
I show her the metal plate and smile back. My little display seems to amuse her, as she chuckles and places her elbows on the counter, then puts her chin in her hands, causing her cheeks to puff a little. Her breasts sway slightly before they settle, hanging underneath her chest. 'Well then, Mr adventurer, what can I do for you?'
Fuck me I'm converted. This curvy little vixen has managed to make my little friend stir after only a few small interactions with her. I know she is only putting on an act, but it is still flattering.
'Is it possible to get that hot water now? And what time will dinner be served?'
She tells me she will bring me some hot water to my room in 30 minutes, and that they will start serving dinner in about an hour.
I return to my room, excited to make some money. I figure that with the 5 silver I earn tonight, I will have 7 silver and 92 copper. That means that if I stay at the inn with breakfast and dinner, and I eat those skewers every day for lunch, I can survive for around 60 days.
Of course, If everything goes my way, I will have far more than 7 silver by the end of the night.
I lie on my bed, and now that I finally have a little time to kill, I decide to check out the two new classes I unlocked this morning.
I bring up my status.
[Name: Alric Starforge]
[Race: Starless]
[Level: 1 XP:50/100]
[Main Class: Villager lvl 1]
[Sub-Classes:
1. -
2. - ]
[HP: 80/80]
[MP: 70/70]
[Strength: 10]
[Constitution: 8]
[Agility: 8]
[Intelligence: 10]
[Wisdom: 7]
[System Points: 0]
[Attribute Points: 5]
It seems the same to me, but I want to check out the new classes I have. I focus on the idea of the [Thief] class and am shown some information
[Thief - Bonus, agility + 5% - The thief is good at sneaking undiscovered in order to steal. Their movement is quick so that they can run away when discovered.]
[Skill: - Evade - 10MP - For 10 minutes, the ability to evade strikes increases by 10%]
Ok, so [Thief] seems pretty standard as far as I can tell. What about [Assassin].
[Assassin - Bonus, agility + 7% - The assassin is good at sneaking undiscovered in order to kill. When assassins attack an unaware enemy, damage is increased.]
[Skill: - Backstab - 25MP - For 10 minutes, strikes on an unaware enemy increase damage by 50%]
Oh excellent, so [Assassin] seems to be superior to [Thief]. There doesn't seem to be a huge difference between them right now, but I imagine once they level up, they will start to branch off into theft vs killing type skills.
I set the two new classes as my sub-classes. I am still unsure if someone could analyse my class and see I have [Thief] or [Assassin], so I keep [Villager] as my primary class.
I next turn my attention to the 5 attribute points I got when I defeated the mugger. I place one into[Constitution]. As I suspect, my HP increases by 10. I then put a point into [Wisdom], and my MP increases by 10.
[Constitution] increases my HP, and [Wisdom] my MP. Excellent, it seems like a standard RPG levelling system to me. The most important thing in my mind right now is that I want to live, so I pump the remaining 3 points into [Constitution].
Now my status looks like this.

Shortly after I finish sorting out my status, I hear a knock at my door. I know who it is, so I stand up from my bed and walk over. I unlatch the door and open it. The curvy barmaid walks in carrying a small wooden bucket of steaming water and places it on the table. She then takes the rag and towel that are draped over her shoulder, and lays it down on the back of the chair.
'Dinner will be served in about 30 minutes, Mr. Adventurer!' She gives me a wink and a wave before she walks back out the door. I start to get the impression that she isn't just putting on an act, but is just a bit of a flirt.
I strip down, soak the rag, and wipe myself down all over with it. The hot cloth feels fantastic, but unfortunately, I don't have soap. I wring the cloth out and put it to one side.
After drying myself with the towel, I clean the underwear and socks of my old world, and leave them to dry on the length of twine that extends over the window. I put on new socks and underwear, but I continue wearing the same clothes.
I make my way downstairs as food should be ready soon, and a man sitting at a table waves me over. It is Baldrick, I guess he is done with work for the day. I walk over and take the seat opposite him, and we get to talking about our respective days.
Curvy barmaid brings over our meals and some water, she is just as flirty as I expected her to be, not only with me, but with Baldrick too. That pretty much seals my opinion of her; she is either a flirt or she is trying to drum up more business. Either way, I don't mind.
The food is a basic meat stew with vegetables and a nice hunk of bread. It is filling and pretty tasty, well worth the extra coins in my opinion.
I tell Baldrick about meeting the bounty hunter.
'Thorne? Really? He is quite a big deal in the county, he is pretty well known. If you can get on his good side, that might be a boon for you.'
'Yeah, I hope that's the case'.
We finish our meal and say our farewells. He will leave in the morning and return to his home, but he says he will be back in about 3 days, and we agree to meet again if I am still in the city.
I notice the sun is starting to set, so I decide to make my way over to the adventurers' guild to meet Thorne and his 3 wives.
