In the field of blue Malv flower, a subship arrived in the sky and landed slowly, but as it got closer to the ground, it suddenly became unbalanced.
"Whoa, whoa, hey! What's going on?" asked Marian as she tried her best to grasp onto something on the ship to stay upright.
"I'm sorry, but I've never driven a ship before," said Henry.
The next moment, the subship crashed onto the ground and slid toward the teleportation circle. The guards that stood around to protect the teleportation circle all gathered—then quickly ran away in fear as the ship skidded across the ground.
After the subship finally stopped, its door kicked open and Marian jumped out, followed by Nimuk and Henry.
"Would you look at that, I did a pretty good job despite it being my first ship landing," said Henry, looking at the teleportation circle that was a short distance away from them.
At that moment, the guards who had run away returned to check the situation, and upon seeing Henry, Marian, and Nimuk, they quickly pointed their mana blasters at them.
"You're in a restricted area. Please surrender yourselves," one of them said.
Henry silently extended his hand and used the mana he had recovered.
{Negative Sensation.}
A dark mist spread from his hand and surrounded the area around the teleportation circle.
However, the guards showed no visible abnormality.
"Sir, this is the last time we will say—" the guard took a step forward, but instead of moving forward, his foot went backward, and losing his balance, the guard fell.
"What the..." Realizing something was wrong with his body, the guard quickly tried to trigger the mana blaster at Henry and the others, suspecting them to be responsible.
However, his body didn't move as he intended—instead, it did the opposite.
"Negative Sensation will act opposite to how you wish for your body to move. Moreover, it will get worse and act randomly as time passes," muttered Henry.
"Ugh!" Suddenly, a wave of tiredness spread across his body and he felt weak all over.
"What's the matter?" asked Marian as she grabbed him.
"I think I'm out of juice," said Henry. He noticed Marian's confused expression, so he explained,
"I mean my curse mana—I'm out of it and need time to recover."
"Oh," Marian then understood what Henry said.
At that moment, both of their attention was drawn to the sky as they heard the subship that had followed them arriving close.
"Damn, if it were just a little bit later, I might have had enough mana to curse it."
While Henry sighed, Marian pulled him by the shoulder, saying, "Let me take care of this."
Afterward, she walked toward a guard who was struggling to control his body. With her iron-like fist, she struck straight through his chest, and blood spilled out. Kneeling down, she touched the pool of blood on the floor, and the moment her fingertip made contact, the blood suddenly focused and turned solid. Pulling her hand up, she drew out a sleek blood spear—extremely sharp and deadly.
"Whoa, is that blood manipulation?" asked Henry. But Marian shook her head.
"No. My ability isn't that impressive. I'm an Enchanted Warrior—I can enchant liquid objects to solidify and shape it."
After she explained, she threw the blood spear with her full strength toward the incoming ship. The spear pierced straight through the vessel, striking the engine and the officer piloting it.
"What the hell?!" Frightened by the sudden appearance of a bloody spear, Alric and the warden quickly moved back, but the crash of the ship was unavoidable.
"Shit!" Thinking fast, Alric grabbed a life supporting shield from subspace and jumped out, leaving the warden and others to crash with the ship.
Boom!
A huge explosion shook the ground as the ship crashed, flames spreading and beginning to consume the field of Malv flowers.
"Let's go, quickly! Didn't Auran say to start the portal as soon as we arrive?" said Henry after observing the burning ship in the distance, then turned around to face the teleportation circle.
However, before they could move, they heard a sound and looked back to see the warden, heavily injured, walking toward them.
"You bastards... what have you done?" he growled, staring at the burning field of Malv Flowers.
"Tch. Just die already," Marian said, annoyed. She solidified another piece of blood and sent it piercing the warden's heart, causing him to collapse.
However, his voice didn't disappear.
"You won't be safe... You think we came here without any reassurance? Haha… Reinforcements from the government will be here soon. You all will suffer for this... for life..."
"If that's true..." said Henry, running to the teleportation circle and looking around to activate it.
However, after finding the control section, he struggled to start it properly.
{Return Sense}
With his word, one of the guards, who had been acting confused, came back to his senses—but was instantly grabbed and lifted by Marian.
"Before I crush your head... tell me how to start this," said Marian emotionlessly.
The guard looked around in fear and saw the crushed body of another guard nearby. That fear was enough to make him speak and tell Henry everything he needed to know.
Instead of killing him, Marian threw the guard as far away as she could but the unfortunate guard fall onto the burning malv flower field.
"Let's see... Hmm, this is a problem. I don't know the name of the world I lived in," said Henry as he looked through the digital panel that guided transport. He felt uneasy—none of the names looked familiar to him, and most of all, he had no idea what the world he lived in was even called.
"What? Aren't you a student who studies?" exclaimed Marian as she observed the digital panel.
"I'm sorry, but I only focused on my own field of magic to develop a theory. Maybe Auran knows the world's name, but I don't see him anywhere," Henry said, starting to panic.
"It's here," Marian suddenly said calmly, pointing to a small planet on the panel.
"B... Belgarun," Henry muttered the name of the planet.
"Isn't this your planet? Of course, considering the situation we're in, I think it's better we go anywhere rather than staying here. But I don't know if Auran would agree to this," henry added.
However, He selected Belgarun as the destination and stepped into the teleportation circle.
"It'll take fifteen minutes to activate. Auran better come before that."
Boom!
With a loud kick, a door to a room broke open—and Auran and Octo barged in.
"This is the place," said Auran as he looked around, seeing a bunch of papers and lockers.
Forcibly opening a locker, Auran saw a pile of Brain Deceleration Potions inside, and he grabbed as many as he could. Afterward, looking through the papers, he found the recipe and process for producing the potions.
While he was doing all that, Octo moved around and found another metallic door. Carefully removing it from where it was attached, he brought it to Auran.
{Time Vault}
A long blade of time came out from Auran's time vault and slid through the roof of the room they were in. Since they were on the top floor and in a corner room, the roof collapsed easily, exposing them to the outside.
"Place the door above that pile of broken roof," said Auran as he packed up all the things he had collected and turned around.
Stop!
A voice suddenly came from behind, halting all movement from Auran and Octo.
"We meet once again, Chief Lemantine, just as I expected," said Auran. Although he was facing backward, he reacted as if he had recognized the voice.
"I wasn't going to let the bastard who pushed me to death just walk away that easily," said Lemantine.
She was prepared to move forward with her mana blaster but was held back by Galric.
"You must be the one who nullified the effect of our mana suppression," he asked.
"And you must be the one who created that pile of trash," replied Auran, which visibly irritated Galric—hearing his and his brother's work, something they had poured all their brains into, reduced to an insult.
"Considering who's holding a mana vault in hand, I don't think you should run your mouth as you please," he said.
"Hahaha!" Auran laughed at those words, confusing Lemantine and Galric with his reaction.
"Didn't I already say I expected your arrival? And from that, you could probably assume—if you're a genius—that I already planted an explosion right above where you're standing."
With those words, Auran suddenly jumped forward with a scream. Lemantine, quick to react, grabbed Galric and jumped back away from the door, assuming the explosion would go off.
"Put that thing above!" said Auran as he ran to Octo. Following his words, Octo placed the metal door above the pile of rubble. Once Auran got close, he adjusted it according to his calculations before climbing onto it with Octo. Just before getting on, Auran placed all the explosives he got from Octo underneath the pile of debris.
"Idiot! You got fooled once again!" screamed Galric as he got up and ran into the room, realizing there was no explosion. But just when he stepped inside, he saw Auran and Octo lying on top of a pile of debris and a metallic door—and the next second, an explosion occurred, sending them flying upward.
"Shit! Where are the reinforcements? I can't face them alone..." Hiding in the field of Malv Flowers, Alric peeked at Henry and the others standing on the teleportation circle.
"If I can just get rid of the control panel..." he muttered. With a mana blaster in hand, he tried to approach them, but the fire rapidly spreading through the Malv Flower field reached his direction, forcing him to fall back, gritting his teeth.
"Damn it," he sighed in regret.
On the teleportation circle, the timer was reaching its end. From the horizon, Henry, Marian, and Numik saw a large number of ships approaching.
"The reinforcements are arriving. Come on, where is Auran? The timer is about to run out!" shouted Henry.
With those words, the countdown finally came to an end, and the teleportation circle lit up, shooting a beam of light upward and pulling Henry and the others into it.
"Shit! I can't go back alone," exclaimed Henry.
"Must we stay?" asked Marian as she tried to grab the control panel.
"Look!" At that moment, Numik pointed in the direction of the Malv Flower processing factory, where a sudden explosion occurred. Through the blast, something shot out at rapid speed toward their direction.
"Isn't that...?" As the object got closer, Henry recognized it—it was Auran and Octo.
"Auran! Grab my hand!" he shouted.
Moments before the circle beamed them up, Henry extended his hand toward the quickly approaching figure. Jumping from the metallic door, Auran grabbed Henry's hand and was pulled into the circle. At the same time, Marian skillfully slid Octo into the circle.
"Let's move!"
The teleportation circle brightened like a thunderclap, and Auran and the group were suddenly shot upward, rushing through the sky and out from the independent space into the stars—until they vanished from the view of everyone standing in the Malv Flower field.
