Chapter 132 - Chapter 132: The Gathering Storm

The air was thick with the sound of exertion. The training fields of Nova Academia had become a battleground for Kael and his friends—each pushing their limits, trying to keep up with the ever-looming threat that they all knew would soon descend upon them.

Kael, standing at the center of the field, breathed heavily as the others took their positions. His eyes were intense, the swirling energy of the Last Will resonating within him. His friends—Tetsu, Hana, and Ryuu—stood a few paces away, each with their own resolve.

"You're getting better, Kael," Tetsu called, wiping the sweat from his brow. "But don't think you can leave us behind."

Hana grinned, her crimson ribbon fluttering in the breeze. "We're all in this together. No one gets left behind."

Kael nodded, his eyes scanning the horizon. It was hard to focus on anything other than the looming threat of Kurojin, but he knew they needed to keep pushing. "We have to be ready," he said quietly.

Ryuu, ever the optimist, raised his fist with a smirk. "We'll be ready. I just hope they bring everything they've got. The more they throw at us, the better."

As the training session continued, each of them pushing their limits, their minds remained on the battlefield. Their bond as Wielders was stronger than ever, but Kael couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Every strike he made, every maneuver he perfected, was a reminder of the stakes they were playing for.

Later that evening, the group gathered around a large table in the war room. Maps, strategies, and battle plans were spread out before them. Kaede stood at the head of the table, his brow furrowed in concentration. Raizen lingered nearby, his gaze steady as he looked over the plans.

"The next invasion is imminent," Kaede said, his voice grave. "We know Kurojin will attack in force, and he won't hesitate to use every weapon at his disposal. We need to be ready for anything."

The room fell silent, each Wielder contemplating the situation. Tetsu crossed his arms. "What's the plan, then? We know we can't wait for them to come to us."

Ryuu leaned forward. "I say we take the fight to them. Hit them where it hurts."

Kael's eyes were focused, his mind racing. He hadn't shared everything with them yet, and now seemed like the right time.

"Actually, I have an idea," Kael said, his voice carrying across the room.

Everyone turned their attention to him, their expressions curious. Kael stepped forward, his hands glowing faintly with Void energy.

"I've been practicing something," Kael continued, his voice steady. "Something that could give us the advantage we need."

Hana raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about, Kael?"

Kael's expression remained serious. "I can teleport now. Not just myself. I can teleport up to 1,000 people at once."

The room went silent for a moment, the weight of Kael's words sinking in. Tetsu's eyes widened, a grin spreading across his face. "You're serious?"

Kael nodded. "I've been testing it, and it's stable. I can open a rift in the Void and transport people across vast distances—instantly."

Ryuu leaned back in his chair, his usual cocky grin replaced with a look of deep thought. "That's… huge. If we can use that, we could change the course of the war."

Kaede stepped forward, his expression one of concern. "Teleportation could be a game-changer, but it comes with its risks. It's draining, especially on someone like you, Kael. You need to be sure you're ready for it."

Kael's eyes burned with determination. "I can handle it. We don't have the luxury of waiting."

Raizen, who had been quiet until now, spoke up. "He's right. Time is not on our side. If Kael can transport us, we can hit Kurojin's forces before they have a chance to organize. But this will be no easy task. Every time you open the Void, you're pulling on forces that are beyond even your control."

Kael didn't flinch. "I'm prepared for that. We'll make it work. We need to strike before they know what hit them."

Kaede sighed, but there was a faint smile on his face. "Well, then. It looks like we have our plan. But Kael… you'll need to rest and be ready for the fight ahead. We'll need every ounce of your strength."

Tetsu, always the one to lighten the mood, grinned. "Alright, let's get this done. We've got a war to win, and a whole planet to protect."

Hana gave a nod of agreement. "Let's show Kurojin that we're not just playing defense. We're coming for him."

Kael smiled, feeling the weight of their resolve around him. The journey ahead wouldn't be easy, but with his friends by his side, he knew they could face anything. The storm was coming, but they were ready.

The battle would be won not just with power, but with the unity of those who would fight to protect their world.
