After we returned to Fairy Tail, the first thing Makarov did was introduce me to everyone, which was uncomfortable, though immediately afterward, he shamed Macao and Wakaba by stating how they nearly suffered defeat by my hands, which was a bit of stretch, though I just stayed quiet, watching how the guild members of mocked and laughed at the two, causing them to sigh in defeat.
As for me, I sat in the corner, watching everyone interact with each other in the guild, though it didn't last for long as I was quickly approached by the woman of the guild, which there wasn't a lot of. "Oh, aren't you the cutest little mage I've ever seen!" The lady with red hair didn't hesitate to lean in closer and rub her cheek against mine, causing me to growl, though another woman promptly rubbed her cheek against my other one. "He's so adorable! I find it hard to believe he beat up those two old men!"
"O-Old? We're in our mid-20s." Wakaba attempted to defend himself, though he was promptly smacked in the back of the hand by a passing woman, who then embraced me in a hug, pushing my head into her voluptuous chest.
"Oh, I want you all to myself!" Growling once more, I forcefully freed myself from the woman's grasp while leaping onto the wall, digging my nails into it for support. "He's like a model!" While I quickly became the center of attention for the women of the guild, I sensed several hostile eyes lock onto me, prompting me to raise my head, only to see several men glaring at me, causing me to grin, which only seemed to further irritate them.
"Tsk, brats always get the attention of women." "Hmph, he's not even that cute." "They just like him 'cause he's new."
As I listened to them slander me in jealousy, I dropped to the ground and hugged the woman with the biggest chest before pushing my face between her cleavage. It wasn't because I liked the feel of her breasts; no, I was doing it purely to anger them so they would fight me. Also, since I was but a cute child, the women didn't seem the least bit offended by my invasive actions, though the same couldn't be said for the numerous men watching me.
"That's it! I'm going to teach this brat a lesson!" Watching the man stand up while slamming his cup to the ground, he approached me, causing me to grin as I instantly ignored the woman. Landing atop the table, I stood at eye level with the man, who began aggressively pressing my chest with his finger.
"Listen here bo-argh!" I didn't let him finish as I punched him in the face, sending him crashing back into the table he was previously sitting at, destroying it, and knocking beer onto everyone nearby.
My actions of punching him caused the guild to go silent as all eyes were drawn to me, only for someone to yell a few seconds later. "GUILD FIGHT!" Following that voice, I saw cups being thrown and people quickly fighting each other as punches were being exchanged back and forth. Watching everything unfold, I smirked, only to be punched in the back of the head, knocking me off the table and onto the ground.
"Who was it!?" Standing up, I glared behind me, only to see one of the women who had previously been rubbing her face against mine holding a massive, almost comical-sized mallet. "Hehe, you may be adorable, but no one is safe during a Fairy Guild fight." With a wink, the woman raised her mallet before slamming it down, though I leaped out of the way while smiling; there was nothing better than a good fight.
Digging my nails into the floor, bringing me to a half, I lunged forward, slamming my head into her stomach, knocking her onto her ass; however, I was promptly kicked in the stomach by someone else, causing me to crash into the middle of two fighting each other.
"Heh, now this is comfortable." Licking my lips, I stood up and leaped into the mayhem, fighting everyone I could, though just like everyone else, I refrained from using any magic, purely using my raw strength to battle with grown adults.
It may have seemed like I was at a considerable disadvantage, but I'd spent seven years in the forest, pushing my body to the limit against dangerous beasts, so rather than a disadvantage, I had the advantage; well, I would've, but my left arm was still injured so I couldn't use it to attack.
"Haha, whose next!" licking the blood that trailed down the side of my face, I held the shirt of an unconscious mage while standing atop two others I had defeated, which seemed to spark surprise in the nearby members. However, before I could find my next prey, my gaze suddenly locked onto a young teenager with short yellow hair who wore metal headphones with a spike on each one.
"So you're my next victim?" Glancing at the boy just a bit older than me, I dropped the man I was holding to the ground while approaching him, causing him to scoff before removing his hands from his pockets.
"Victim? That's my saying." No more words were exchanged as the boy quickly lunged at me, prompting me to smirk as I did the same. Stomping my foot onto the ground, we exchanged blows, punching each other in the face, and although I had dug my nails into the ground, I was slightly knocked off balance.
Quickly raising my arms, I narrowly managed to block the boy's second punch, which forced me backward, though after stabilizing myself, I dodged the boy's follow-up attack and kicked his side, though he raised his leg, blocking my foot.
The two of us continued to exchange several blows, though despite finding it hard to evenly match him, I enjoyed the fight either way; as for the boy, he seemed to be getting slightly frustrated.
"Tch, so annoying. Just go down!" With a powerful punch straight to my jaw, I stumbled backward, taking numerous steps before I caught myself. Glancing back at the boy, whose chest heaved up and down, I spat out blood before grinning, showing off my bloody mouth, which seemed to further irritate the boy.
However, before we could continue fighting, a powerful voice echoed throughout the guild, causing everyone who was still fighting to immediately stop. "ENOUGH!" Feeling the ground tremble from the powerful voice, I looked at Makarov, who had only enlarged his head, which looked hilarious considering his tiny body.
"Hmph, I'm out of here." Shifting my gaze to the boy, he put his hands into his pocket and turned around, walking away, causing me to click my tongue as I enjoyed the battle, but I didn't try to attack him.
Walking to the bar where Makarov sat, his gigantic head returned to normal while I grabbed a random cup and started drinking; thankfully, it was water. "I see you've met my grandson, Laxus." Raising my head, I glanced at Makarov before looking behind me at Laxus, who walked into the back of the guild.
"He's strong." "Heh, well, like you, he practices an Ancient Magic… He's a Lightning Dragon Slayer." The mention of another person using Ancient Magic wasn't what interested me; it was the mention of a Dragon Slayer, since if such magic existed, Dragons must exist.
"Dragons? Where can I find one? Ouch! Again, you tiny old man!?" Grabbing my head in pain, I glared at Makarov, who scoffed before shaking his head. "Oh, don't think I didn't see you smiling while fighting; I've met your kind before." Grunting at his words, I downed the cup before slamming it onto the table.
"Don't be upset now; I don't even know if Dragons exist anymore, so there is nothing I can do. Not like I would tell you anyway; you'd fight it and die from a mere sneeze." "Hmph, I'm not stupid; I wouldn't fight the dragon immediately… I'm still injured." Glancing at Makarov, whose expression aggressively twitched at my words, only for him to rub the bridge of his nose.
"Haha, good job, Cooper; you gave those guys hell!" "Yeah, haha, now I can't give Macao and Wakaba too much shit." Awkwardly looking at the two injured guild members as they pat my back, I hesitantly nodded, prompting them to flash a friendly smile. "Oi, after today, you've earned my respect. If anyone ever gives you problems, just tell me, and I'll set them straight." With a pat on the back, the two men limped away, heading who knows where, while I silently glanced at the table.
However, while milling about in my thoughts, I felt a tug on my shoulders, prompting me to glance to my right, eyeing a young girl with black hair who hopped onto the chair beside me. "What?" I didn't intend to come off as aggressive, but I think that's just how I naturally sounded; anyway, my tone caused the girl to flinch. "H-Hi. I-I'm Cana Alberona."
"Cooper." Shifting my gaze away from the girl, I tossed the empty cup behind me before grabbing another one, which unfortunately had beer. "T-There isn't many children, s-so I thought w-we could be friends. Um, d-do you not want to?"
