Chapter 65 - Chapter 65

On the other side of the battlefield, the seal on Mito Uzumaki's body remained unstable. The half-sealed Tailed Beast still hadn't been fully suppressed, and the seventh tail was already beginning to stir.

Takayama Haru frowned, then deactivated the attack atop the Thousand-Hand Buddha. The chakra cost was simply too high.

This jutsu burned through chakra at a rate a hundred times greater than the Wood Human Technique. Only someone like Hashirama Senju, with godlike chakra reserves, could sustain it for long.

Haru slowly collapsed, still holding Kyushinai in his arms. He looked down at her and said softly, "Wait for me."

Kyushinai nodded. "Haru, I know how to use sealing techniques," she said. "Let me do it."

But Haru didn't quite trust her with that responsibility. She was still a beginner—and unlike him, she hadn't inherited the sealing arts of Uzumaki Ashina.

"You don't understand sealing techniques," she insisted anxiously.

"There's no one who knows the Uzumaki clan's seals better than I do," Haru replied with a small smile.

Before she could argue, Haru vanished in a flash and appeared in front of Mito Uzumaki.

Mito was still wrestling with the Nine-Tails within her spiritual realm, her voice strained. "Haru, call the Nine-Tails here and help reinforce the seal!"

Inside Mito's spiritual plane, the Nine-Tails was howling in rage. "Let me out!"

Now it was full of regret. How did things go so wrong?

If only it hadn't let itself get goaded earlier, it might've already escaped!

Sure, that human was just as tricky as the one four years ago—but if it had just run instead of fighting, it would've made it.

But no. It had provoked the wrong person. It had destroyed its own best shot at freedom.

The Nine-Tails felt like slamming its own head into a wall.

Outside, Mito grew more desperate. "Haru, hurry—it's almost too late!"

The Nine-Tails' voice bellowed directly from within Mito. "Let me out!"

"Let you out?" Haru said casually. "You stay in there and be good."

He raised his right hand, and five types of elemental chakra lit up at his fingertips.

Mito's eyes widened—she recognized it instantly. A Five Elements Seal!

When had Haru become so proficient in that?

"No… that's not just a Five Elements Seal!"

In her shock, she saw Haru press his palm against the seal.

"No, wait! That's not a Five Elements Seal for reinforcement!" she cried out.

Haru blinked, looking puzzled. "You understand sealing techniques?"

"The most powerful seals passed down by your clan's former patriarch, Uzumaki Ashina, were taught this way. The best reinforcement method is combining the Five Elements Seal with the Four Symbols Seal. You wouldn't understand."

His other hand formed another seal.

The Four Symbols Seal!

In one swift move, he slammed both seals onto Mito.

The Nine-Tails grinned inside, thinking Haru was helping it escape—until it realized, too late, what was really happening.

In just one second, countless chakra chains burst from nowhere and wrapped around the Nine-Tails, dragging it into complete darkness.

The iron gate it had nearly broken open slammed shut again.

This time, not with one lock—but three.

The original seal remained, now reinforced by five layers of Haru's Four Symbols Seals.

Mito blinked—and her body suddenly stabilized, returning to its human form.

She didn't feel anything wrong at all.

But this was far beyond her understanding.

She couldn't grasp what had just happened.

Kyushinai rushed over. "Grandma Mito, are you okay?"

Mito touched her body, confused. "I… I think so?"

She wasn't sure. Haru's double-layered seal was completely beyond her comprehension. This wasn't just sealing—it was the pinnacle of the Uzumaki clan's lost techniques.

In truth, even Mito couldn't be blamed for not understanding. These were Uzumaki Ashina's most advanced, hidden techniques—meant to be tailored to the user and the situation. No successor had ever truly mastered them. Ashina had never found someone worthy.

Compared to him, Mito had only scratched the surface.

Haru turned to her and said, "Grandma Mito, the seal is stronger now, but you won't be able to draw as much chakra from the Nine-Tails in the future."

Mito nodded. "That's fine."

Meanwhile, the Two-Tails—who had been watching the Nine-Tails nearly break free—froze in terror when it saw the Nine-Tails sealed up again so easily.

Without a second thought, it turned tail and bolted.

"That human is terrifying! He uses Wood Release and seals—he's not human!"

It made up its mind—never set foot in the Land of Fire again!

But before it could get far, Kyushinai shouted, "Adamantine Sealing Chains!"

She'd been standing on the sidelines too long and felt guilty. Dozens of chakra chains shot from her back, wrapping around the fleeing Two-Tails.

"Let me go, human!" the beast roared.

Haru rolled his eyes. "Man, do all beasts have such low vocabulary? It's always the same few words."

The Two-Tails snapped, "Who are you calling stupid?!"

The moment it shouted, Kyushinai turned pale—she couldn't hold it.

Haru's mood soured. In a flash, he appeared in front of the Two-Tails.

BANG!

With one kick, he sent the mountain-sized beast flying.

It hovered mid-air for a second before slamming into the ground with a deafening crash.

Boom!

"What's your problem?!"

Boom!

"Not satisfied, are you?!"

Boom!

"If you're a beast, then act like a beast!"

Haru slammed its head into the ground again and again—three times—until it went limp.

The Two-Tails didn't dare lift its head.

In a daze, it scrawled in the dust:

"I was wrong, big bro… I'm a cat, not a dog…"

"Cat or dog, doesn't matter. You better learn your place," Haru said coldly.

Everyone nearby had stunned expressions.

Takayama Haru's power had far exceeded their expectations.

The Two-Tails—a Tailed Beast strong enough to destroy the entire Hidden Leaf—had been beaten down with just a few blows?

Minato Namikaze looked at Saiki Shōmo, who still seemed shocked. "Don't look at me," Saiki said, flustered. "I'm an assassin. Haru's dealing with raw power. I can't match that."

Saiki knew if he'd encountered the Two-Tails, he could've escaped—but a head-on fight? Impossible.

Minato clenched his fists. Haru's punches were just too terrifying.

Then, images of the Third Mizukage's corpse flashed in his mind.

Haru's strength had surged too quickly—it was beyond explanation.

Not far away, Danzo and Mitokado Homura saw what was happening and tried to quietly retreat.

Koharu, who had been shouting earlier, now crept away in silence.

Where the hell did this Haru come from?!

He could enter Sage Mode and use the First Hokage's forbidden techniques?

Now, Koharu was filled with regret.

She hadn't realized Haru was this strong.

If she'd known, she never would've provoked him.

Now, she felt her life was in danger.

But as she crawled away, she bumped into someone.

She looked up—and her soul almost left her body.

Haru squatted beside her, smiling down. "What was it you said earlier?"
