Chapter 103 - Chapter 103: Lu Heng Draws Cards [Creation Art] [Silent Domain]

The next day.

Lu Heng woke up groggily, feeling someone nestled in his arms.

Warm as a furnace.

He looked down and saw Furina curled up against him, clinging to him like a giant pillow.

Sunlight streamed through the window, casting a glow on her face.

Lu Heng could still see faint tear stains on her cheeks that hadn't been wiped away.

He gently brushed his fingers over the corner of her eye.

Then, he couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

Damn, after over twenty years, I've finally had my fill.

What followed was an overwhelming sense of responsibility.

Lu Heng silently summoned the system.

Exclusive card pool, show me your limits!

Fifty thousand draws later, nothing happened.

Lu Heng nearly laughed in frustration.

On the sixty-thousandth draw, as soon as he tapped the button, a red light flashed.

The card depicted a hand, palm facing downward.

And beneath that palm was a planet.

[Creation Art]

[Tier]: 6th Tier (Red)

[Type]: [Knowledge Card]

[Traits]: [From Nothingness], [Creation], [Life-Giving], [Dominion]

[Description]: The Creator, the God of Genesis.

Lu Heng was surprised.

Creation Art?

This immediately made him think of the legends of world creation—like Pangu separating heaven and earth or the birth of a universe.

For beings of immense power, creating a small world wasn't particularly difficult. The real challenge lay in creating life within it.

This wasn't just about two people procreating—it was about wielding the rules of an entire world to forge life through sheer divine power.

The stronger the being and the deeper their understanding of creation, the easier it was to create life. Take Nuwa, for example—she could casually flick drops of mud and create humans.

But for those with lesser power or comprehension, attempting to create life without natural means was a far more complicated matter.

However, for Lu Heng now, this was no longer an issue!

That said, he didn't immediately plan to create a true world.

His first thought was of the adepti's "pocket realm" techniques in Liyue.

Realms like the Serenitea Pot were manifestations of the adepti's "exterior scenery" abilities, but even their powers had limits.

Teyvat's overall power ceiling wasn't high, so the adepti's pocket realms seemed relatively weak by comparison.

As Madam Ping once said: "After all, this realm is not a true world—just a leaf of serenity detached from the mortal realm. It can offer a moment's respite, but not a lifetime's peace."

But now, Lu Heng could create a world.

He could forge a true pocket realm—one that operated on its own, cycling endlessly like a real world, with life flourishing in perpetuity.

Liyue's pocket realms required physical vessels—like teapots or other objects—to anchor them.

Lu Heng, however, planned to create a small world directly in the void and use it as his pocket realm.

The void existed everywhere—it was like the underlying canvas of reality itself.

The void was nothingness, so anchoring a pocket realm within it was akin to tossing a planet into space to drift—it would function just the same.

Lu Heng made a mental note of this.

The card shop already employed spatial expansion techniques—the interior was far larger than the exterior suggested.

But no matter how big it was, there were still limits.

Why not just use an entire small world as a home?

Snapping back to reality, Lu Heng continued drawing cards, already satisfied with his first haul.

Soon, a golden card appeared.

[Archon's Body]

[Tier]: 5th Tier (Gold)

[Type]: [Talent Card]

[Traits]: [Indestructible], [Divine Authority]

[Description]: A god born bearing the duty of "loving the people."

Something from Teyvat?

Out of countless worlds, drawing something from Teyvat could be considered a stroke of luck—or not, given the abysmal odds.

But what use was this?

Archons were innately bound by the duty of "loving the people," though the manner of that love depended on the Archon's personality and inclinations.

Lu Heng's equipment could ignore this inherent duty, but even discarding it, the card wasn't particularly useful.

The [Indestructible] trait, even if enhanced by his equipment, didn't offer much practical benefit.

Lu Heng ignored it and kept drawing.

On the one hundred and eighty-thousandth draw, red light flashed again!

[Silent Domain]

[Tier]: 6th Tier (Red)

[Type]: [Item Card]

[Traits]: [Life-Extinction], [Large-Scale]

[Description]: "That star system had thousands of civilizations—all of them refused the Human Alliance's peace proposal, endlessly bickering and clamoring. So noisy, so irritating~ Does anyone have a good solution?""If they can't speak, they won't disturb us anymore. So, let themremain silent."

Lu Heng chuckled after reading the description.

As everyone knew, the dead don't make noise.

Mosquitoes buzzing around? How does the average person deal with them?

Simple—eliminate them, and the noise stops.

Except the Human Alliance wasn't swatting mosquitoes—they were erasing thousands of civilizations. In terms of lives lost, the number was unimaginably vast.

But so what?

In the vastness of the universe, mercy was a luxury. If you hesitated, the next to fall might be you.

If they're annoying me with their noise, then I'll silence them permanently!

That said…

This thing seemed a bit overkill for his needs.

It was undeniably powerful.

Designate an area, and all life within it would perish—an absolutely terrifying ability.

But in Teyvat? It was like using a nuke to kill a fly.

Completely unnecessary.

"If only it were a skill where I could control the scale of destruction…"

Lu Heng stored the card in his inventory and continued drawing.

He had saved up a lot of draws.

The shops in Fontaine's court and Liyue Harbor provided a steady stream of draw currency, making this session incredibly satisfying.

But as he kept drawing, Lu Heng began to feel that top-tier cards were truly rare.

For others, 5th-tier gold cards were hard to obtain.

For Lu Heng, 6th-tier red cards were the real challenge.

By the time he exhausted all his draws, a third red card still hadn't appeared.

The higher the tier, the lower the odds.

Lu Heng had long understood this principle. Besides, he'd already obtained Creation Art—a massively practical card—so today's haul was more than satisfactory.

He sifted through the remaining cards, equipping a few decent 4th-tier cards and two passable 5th-tier cards to his gear.

After a quick assessment, he nodded.

Hmm, a tiny bit stronger—not even half a step forward.

With that done, it was time to get up.

He carefully extricated himself from Furina's grasp.

Despite his gentle movements, Furina still woke up.

Her eyes were bleary, her expression dazed.

She stared blankly at Lu Heng, then, seeing him rise, propped herself up on one elbow to face him.

But as the covers slipped, a chill rushed over her, snapping her awake.

Wait—

Furina yanked the blanket back up, her face burning red as she peeked out from behind it.

Lu Heng took in the sight.

Honestly, small is cute too.

He wasn't picky—though their future children might go hungry.

"Getting up?" he asked with a smile.

"Ah—!"

Overwhelmed by embarrassment, Furina faceplanted back into the pillow.

She immediately pulled the blanket over her head, hiding completely.

Lu Heng calmly fetched clothes from the wardrobe and casually remarked, "I'm going to shower and open the shop. Let me know what you want to eat—stay in bed today."

"Got it! Can you leave now?!"

Lu Heng chuckled. "Alright, don't catch a cold."
