Maria stared at the marriage certificate in her hands lost in thoughts.
This time she's married for real because Edward James addressed a group of paparazzi who blocked their part as they both got out of the civil affairs.
EARLIER ON
"Thank you Mrs Maria James" Edward James said to her as he held her hand leading them both out of the CAB.
"Mr Edward is sure in cloud nine" Maria said in sarcasm
"Come on treasure I got a surprise for you" Edward said instead but_
' young master Edward why are you here, did you get married to this beauty behind you' Edward held Maria securing her from the paparazzi, he looked astonished seeing the paparazzi.
'Young master is that your marriage certificate'
'Awwwe, oh my crush is taking' one of the female paparazzi said dreamily.
'Mr Edward James, will she be the new face of the Js company?
' young master Edward tell_' they were saying but Edward James shut them up
"ENOUGH! Security make sure the photos are erased from their cameras except two" he sternly said before walking towards his car with his wife Maria.
PRESENT TIME
" My love, what's up" Edward James asked as he walked into his study.
" Nothing much, when did you get back" asked Maria.
"Just got back and we'll be heading to the old house my grandparents wants to meet" he told her but Maria felt nervous immediately
She had never meet with anyone from the Cent family when they were together.
"If you're not ready we can go_". he was saying
"No that's not it, it's just that am nervous but I thought you don't want anyone to know about the marriage" she said looking at his face. Edward brought her close for a hug.
"I'd prefer to announce you to world the very minute we got the certificate" he told her while inhaling her scent.
"Why didn't you?" Maria asked snuggling into his embrace bringing smile to Edward face.
"I didn't think you'd be comfortable with it and I don't want to do something you won't like" he told her.
"Thank you" Maria told him
"Anything for you my Treasure" Edward kissed her forehead lovingly.

"Welcome young master, the master is in his study" said the butler
"Okay butler Han" Edward replied and went inside the main building with Maria.
The domestic staffs who saw them bow in greetings as they walked towards their masters study.
Main while Mrs Bridget who was with the old madam James in her garden is oblivious to Edward James and Maria returning to the old house.
"Bridget you requested for Eva's photo album, there it is but why if I may ask" asked the old lady.
"I'll say what I had to when I ease my thoughts" Mrs Bridget told her before taking the big photo album from the side table close to old madam James.
She browsed through the photo of the late Mrs Eva James with heavy heart, just felt like it's still a dream to lose such a wonderful soul to the cold hands of death.
After few minutes she saw the pictures she was searching for and her eyes sparkled, then she placed it before the old lady.
"My goddaughter, what about her?" Asked the old lady.
