Chapter 95 - It's Not the Godlike Opponent You Fear, but the Pig-like Teammate

Watching Charlos, who seemed to be in a trance, walking towards Pryce, Admiral Kizaru cursed inwardly.

'Idiot.'

"Damn it, this fool doesn't even realize who he's dealing with. Does he really think they'll just hand over a teleportation talisman?" Kizaru continued to grumble in his mind.

Despite his seemingly lazy demeanor, Kizaru was already preparing for what was to come.

Pryce would never let this arrogant Celestial Dragon off easily, and Kizaru couldn't allow anything to happen to a Celestial Dragon in his presence.

If Pryce were to harm the Celestial Dragon right in front of him, Fleet Admiral Sengoku would be furious, and even the Five Elders wouldn't let it slide!

Sure enough, as Charlos reached the bottom of the stairs, Pryce smile vanished. He stomped down with full force, aiming directly for Charlos life!

Although Pryce had never killed anyone before, he knew that in this world, killing was inevitable. Better to get used to it now than to hesitate in a life-or-death battle later.

Kizaru expression changed instantly, and he transformed into a flash of golden light.

In the next moment, Pryce foot slammed into the spot where Charlos had just been standing. The ground shattered into pieces, and the surrounding rocks were pulverized into dust.

Charlos, still oblivious to the fact that Pryce had just tried to kill him, even tried to push Kizaru away, who had pulled him to safety.

"What the hell are you doing?" Charlos shouted angrily.

Kizaru gave the idiot a look of disbelief and pointed to the spot where Charlos had just been standing. Only then did Charlos notice Pryce standing there, the ground and everything around it completely destroyed. It finally dawned on him that Pryce had just tried to kill him.

Cold sweat instantly broke out on his forehead. The force of that stomp had crushed the rocks—if he had been standing there, he would have been turned into a bloody pulp!

"You bastard! You dare to defy me? Kizaru, kill him!" Charlos roared in fury.

At that moment, one of Sentomaru subordinates approached.

"Admiral Kizaru, we've informed Admiral Akainu and Aokiji about Pryce. They're on their way," the marine whispered.

"Then I'll go and stall them," Kizaru said cautiously, glancing at Marco and Pryce, who were still unaware of the situation.

If Akainu and Aokiji arrived, Kizaru was confident they could capture Pryce—provided they didn't know about this in advance. But Kizaru was about to learn the true meaning of a "pig-like teammate."

"You're all dead meat!" Charlos, having overheard the marine report, shouted viciously.

"Waiting for you to kill us? We'll probably die of old age first!" Marco taunted with a smirk.

"The other two admirals are coming soon! You're finished!" Charlos blurted out, as if he had been deeply humiliated.

The moment those words left his mouth, Pryce, Marco, and Kizaru were all stunned.

"What are you doing?" Admiral Kizaru asked in disbelief.

Had this operation plan just been exposed by an idiot?

For a moment, Admiral Kizaru couldn't believe what had just happened! If it weren't for Kizaru generally calm demeanor and his habit of slacking off, he might have really lost his temper and kicked this Celestial Dragon idiot flying!

"Pryce, it won't be good if the other two Admirals arrive!"

"Let's get ready to leave!" Marco said seriously.

Although he had just enjoyed a good fight with Kizaru, Marco was well aware of his own limitations. If the other two Admirals showed up, there was no way he could hold them off!

Pryce nodded in agreement.

"Didn't expect you, the idiot, to actually be of some use!" Pryce chuckled as he looked at Charlos.

Despite the plan being exposed, Kizaru, who was well-versed in the art of slacking off, charged straight toward Pryce.

Pryce, however, had no intention of letting Kizaru delay them any longer. He pulled out his teleportation talisman. A golden-purple light scattered around, and both he and Marco vanished from everyone sight.

Kizaru stopped in his tracks and sighed.

"Chase them!"

"He took the teleportation talisman with him!" Charlos was still shouting incessantly.

Kizaru didn't even glance at him, simply lying back on his recliner, waiting for the other two to arrive.

Sure enough, less than a minute later, two purple lights appeared in the square. Admiral Akainu and Admiral Aokiji hurried over anxiously.

After looking around, all they found was a scene of chaos, with no one in sight.

Akainu frowned as he walked over to Kizaru.

"Where's Pryce?" Akainu asked bluntly.

"He ran away!" Kizaru adjusted his sunglasses and replied directly.

"Why didn't you hold him back?" Akainu slammed the table, clearly dissatisfied.

"Well, you'll have to ask your esteemed Celestial Dragon... I mean, World Noble!" Kizaru pointed at Charlos.

Looking at the ugly Charlos with his large bubble, Akainu couldn't help but frown.

"You'd better explain." Aokiji walked over and said in a low voice.

"I was about to go and hold off Pryce and Marco, but that idiot just blurted it out!"

"He said you were on your way, and they just bolted!" Kizaru shrugged, clearly annoyed.

"Idiot!" Akainu cursed angrily.

Aokiji also snorted coldly.

"Fine, let's go back and report to Fleet Admiral Sengoku." Akainu said to Kizaru.

"Aren't you two coming back?" Kizaru frowned, not wanting to go back alone and face the blame.

"We both have our own missions. Since there's nothing left to do here, we'll continue with our tasks." Admiral Akainu directly gave Admiral Kizaru a reason he couldn't refuse.

Admiral Kizaru watched as the two left one after another, then pulled out a teleportation talisman from his pocket, glancing at this Celestial Dragon.

In the next moment, he vanished under the envious gaze of Charlos!
