Chapter 6 - The Third Member

Shinonome Academy - 3rd Classroom Building - Afternoon

Sunlight shines through the glass curtains, giving the stairwell a soft glow.

A girl in a black uniform with chestnut hair and a short ponytail stood quietly in front of the activity room of the magic department.

She knocked slowly on the door, and there was no hesitation in her eyes, only a calm that bordered on interrogation.

- Her name is Alfie Noah, a former core member of the Intelligence Research Society, who was once praised by the entire school for the incident of "breaking the Sevenfold Blockade Technique by herself.

Now this girl herself is standing at the door of the Magic Department.

The door opened.

Funk poked his head out, looked at her, and was silent for a few seconds.

"What are you doing here?"

Alfie's face was blank and she held up an application form.

"I want to join the Magic Department."

Rhine probed from behind with a suspicious expression: "Huh? The irritable breaker of the Intelligence Research Society? Didn't she hate the Fighting Society? "

"Yes." Alfie said lightly, "But you are no ordinary Fighting Society. "

She walked into the classroom and scanned the blackboard with the dense remnants of the operation, model papers, and dismantling notes.

"This is the purest technical structure I've ever seen at Shinonome Academy. You're not fighting with magic, you're constructing logic itself. "

Funk raised an eyebrow: "So you're here for this?" "

"Nope." Alfie turned her head and looked into Funk's eyes.

"I'm here because you set back the swordsmanship department."

"And I'm tired of being a 'spectator.'"

For a moment, the air condense slightly.

Instead of nodding immediately, Funk asked rhetorically, "What can you do?" "

Alfie gently unfolded the Chinese work in his hand, revealing a complex formation translation model:

Surgical Deconstruction System, Experimental Type 001].

It is used to quickly identify enemy magic structures in actual combat and perform "interference and disintegration on the spot".

"I'm not good at fighting, but I'm good at making it impossible for others to fight."

Rhine looked at the paper and couldn't help but whistle: "This ... If this really works, it's despicable. "

Funk rarely smiled.

"Welcome aboard, Alfie."

[With the arrival of Alfie, the operation of the Magic Department was immediately elevated to a higher level.

Their "Deconstruction Model" can not only read enemy formations, but can even help correct the logic of your own spells.

"Your third level kicker knot is out of order, and I suggest you use chained symbols instead.

"The fluctuation when Rhine starts the formation is too high, and it is necessary to increase the energy absorption buffer."

"I'm trying to make a 'bouncing magic wall', maybe it can be used as a shield."

In just one week, the combat efficiency and accuracy of the magic department had been greatly improved.

And it itself, almost silent outside of training, is like a silent dagger - unsheathed, cold, but once used, it will defeat the enemy.

Rhine asked Funk privately, "How do you know she's not undercover? "

Funk said calmly, "I don't care why she came, I only care what she can do."

[It was only three days after Alfie officially joined the Ministry.

There was another knock at the door of the Magic Department.

A senior student in a white robe walked in slowly, carrying a long metal box behind his back, with a lazy but oppressive expression on his face.

"I'm not interested in magic." He said.

"But in your practice of 'winning battles without martial arts... ... I'm a little interested. "

He took a few steps closer and slapped a challenge book on the table.

"Fighting Club Vice Captain Ryuya Gray Island

Challenge: The Magic Department will play against each other, and the time will be determined

"Funk, huh?"

"You shouldn't have won the Crack, at least not now."

He smiled faintly.

"That's why I'm here to help you 'correct' your mistakes."

Alfie Noah - Elfi Noah

"Some fight for glory, some fight for survival.

And I, I just want to verify one thing - is there really a 'spirit' that can prevail over 'strength'? "
