"Bane... Bane.... Wake up" called out an unfamiliar voice. Once Bane had awakened he had found himself in a desolate plain only surrounded by snow as far as the eye could see. It snowed and snowed, but strangely enough it wasn't cold. As a matter of fact Bane had never felt warmer. As it continued to snow Bane could see a shadow form on the horizon. The shadow soon evolved into the silhouette of a person. Someone was approaching Bane, reflexively Bane reached for his sword, though it was nowhere to be found. As the figure got further to Bane, he began to speak. "I see you've...." the mysterious figure's speech was cut off.
Suddenly Bane had awoken back in the forest. He was standing, feet firmly planted in the ground. He held his sword in a ready position. The giant that had impaled Bane came charging at him, though to Bane it had seemed to come in slow motion. The giant slashes her great sword, Bane easily dodges it and pushes the sword throwing the giant off balance. Bane has the opportunity to end her now but he chooses not too. The giant gets up and again slashes, all of her movements appear as if she was moving in slow motion to Bane. Suddenly in an instant the giant is dead. As quick as lightning Bane impaled the giant then proceeded to cut her in half. In this moment something had changed with Bane, his movement speed had become inhuman. The air became cold again, this time though instead of just the sword Bane's whole body began to glow with the icy blue hue. Bandits started to rush at Bane only to be frozen in their tracks. The moment the bandits had stopped all went black for them, in the seconds that followed the bandits were shredded, their dismembered body parts fell to the ground. Bane continued to calmly watch towards the next group of bandits.
As Bane had continued walking towards the bandits, they started to run away. Suddenly they all stopped. Just like this previous group in an instance the bandits were no more than a pile of rotting corpses to fertilize the grass they died on. Seeing this Saru tried to run, in a flash of inhuman speed Bane had made his way in front of Saru. Saru tried to turn around, once he had turned around Bane was there. In lightning speed Bane sunk his fist directly into Saru's stomach, the impact sent Saru flying. Just as Saru was about to make impact with a tree, Bane suddenly appeared behind him, now sinking his fist into Saru's back. Saru was once again sent flying. This last punch had completely shattered his lower back. At this point Saru had realized that Bane had no intention of making this a quick death. He was going to put him through a world of pain. Saru landed on the ground with such force that a crater was formed on impact. The sudden stop broke Saru's ribs, now gasping for air Saru turned himself around only to find Bane standing directly above him. He tried to use his skill on Bane, to no avail. Saru's skill didn't have any effect on Bane in his current state.
In an act of desperation Saru tried to use his skill again, and again, and again knowing that it was futile Saru kept on trying. Bane had walked calmly over Saru and placed his foot right over his kneecap. A loud crunch came from the crater where Bane and Saru are, suddenly without any warning Bane crushed Saru's kneecap. Saru let out an extreme scream. Bane continued to wriggle his foot around on Saru's shattered kneecap. "Oh man it seems like I broke your leg man, here let me help you with that." proclaimed Bane. As he said this Bane moved his foot and used Theon's healing skill to mend Saru's leg back together. Right as the leg finished healing, Bane had swung his sword, cutting both Saru's legs off. Bane stood there for a moment letting the pain sink in for Saru. Just as quickly as Bane had cut the legs off they were regrown using the healing skill. Bane went on and on with different ways of making Saru suffer, he had crushed his ribs into his lungs, broke his fingers, then healed the fingers and broke them again. This went on and on. Right as Bane had finished healing Saru this last time he had taken off running away from Bane. Suddenly all had gone dark for Saru.
"Saru, are you causing trouble for the neighborhood again!" called out Saru's mother. "No, of course not mom," said Saru. "Wait mom what are you doing here, you shouldn't be here," proclaimed Saru. "What do you mean, we're at home in Falkmont village. Where else would I be," questioned Shandrah. "I honestly don't know why I asked that," said Saru. Later that night there was a knock on the door. It was a group of bandits, though there wasn't any fight from Shandrah, it was almost like she had expected to come. Shandrah had brought the group of bandits into the living room. "This is him, this is my son." said Shandrah to the bandits. "Hmmm, he's a real scrawny one ain't he?" said one of the bandits. "Sure is boss!" yelled out another bandit. "How much can I get for him?" questioned Shandrah. "First of all, I wanna know why you want to sell him." asked the bandit boss. "Haa, I just need more drinking money." said Shandrah. "Man, you really are a cold hearted bastard ain't yah. I can give you 15 gold pieces." said the bandit boss. "Mom, what's going on? What are you doing?" asked Saru. "Wow, you really are a little idiot ain't yah Saru? I'm selling you to these here bandits." said Shandrah. After a couple minutes of processing what Shandrah had said it finally sunk in. Once Saru realized what was going on he made a break for the door. As if it was a reflex, one of the bandits pulled out their whip and slashed Saru right down the back. Not letting up, the bandit kept on whipping, as Saru was crying out in pain Shandrah sat there calmly completing her deal. Once their deal was completed the bandit stopped whipping Saru, then went and scooped him up. As the bandits made their way out the door, Saru grabbed onto the ledge of the door. He kicked and wiggled whilst screaming for his mom. Seeing this, Shandrah had one simple response, "Get out of my life already!". All went black for Saru again. Suddenly Saru was back in that crater, he finally realized what was happening. He was reliving his worst trauma, reliving being sold off to bandits by his mother. Now he was reliving the torture Bane had put him through, over and over again. Though this time was different, more forms of torture were being added. Things that Bane didn't do, he was being cut open and having his organs removed, amongst other horrible things. Suddenly things had all gone dark again.
Once he had awakened, Saru had found himself impaled. Just as he had the giant to do Bane, though unlike Bane, Saru knew he wasn't going to come back from this. In his final dying breath Saru muttered out the following: "You damn bastard, you used my own skill against me. How?". Once Saru had died, Bane turned to the rest of the bandits. Bane had scanned the crowd for Alrond, though he was nowhere to be found. "Damn coward weaseled his way out while I was distracted with this loser." muttered Bane under his breath. Seeing this Bane began to slaughter all the other bandits. Bane grabbed a bandit and broke their neck, Bane then proceeded to throw the corpse at another small group of bandits. The corpse landed directly on the group and knocked them all to the ground, where Bane swiftly decapitated them all in a single swift swing of his serrated sword. The remaining archers knocked their last few arrows and set off a barrage of arrows. The arrows came raining down on Bane, the arrows also appeared as if they were in slow motion. Bane easily dodged the arrows, then sprang off towards the few bandits left. Quickly annihilating the few remaining bandits, leaving behind a small pond of blood and body parts. Seeing how Saru is dead, Theon had finally awoken from his time in Saru's skill. Mentally drained from what felt like days reliving the death of his mother, Theon had passed out. After making sure all the bandits were no more, Bane promptly passed out.
Bane had once more awakened in the desolate, icy, snow covered plain. This time Bane could make out the mysterious figure, he could see that it was indeed a man. The mysterious figure had turned out to be an elderly man. This elderly man had long curly hair swept back and out of his face, and a beard that would make most men jealous. "Ah, I see it was only temporary this time." said the mysterious elderly man. Confused, Bane asked the man "who are you?". "Hmm, all in do time my child." said the elderly man. "What do you mean it was only temporary?" asked a confused Bane. "In do time." replied the elderly man. After this Bane had passed out again.
