Synopsis
Skyland, a world carved from sky and sorrow, lifted above the shattered earth. In this realm, rivers hum with Ether, trees breathe memory, and the wind carries truths never meant for mortal ears. But peace is fading. Corruption seeps through its roots, and the sins of the flesh, pride, lust, wrath, and more, begin to fester in the hearts of its people. Heroes fall. Innocents vanish. The land rots slowly, not from war alone, but from what lies hidden within. This is not a tale of chosen ones or perfect endings. It is a story of broken souls, of those who rise not because they are destined, but because they must. Skyland still calls… Will you answer?

Chapter 1 - (Prologue)

Skyland was a land of harmony. Lush, radiant, and suspended between earth and heavens. From soaring cliffs to whispering forests, its people lived in peace. The Sylvankin, the Quendikin, and many others, each unique in form and spirit, shared this realm.

At its center stood the Ether Tree, vast and luminous. Its roots reached across the skies, feeding Ether, the source of life, into every corner of the land. Watching over it all was Shiruba U'windo, a silver dragon of balance and justice. As its creator and guardian, his presence kept the world in peace and its people in balance.

Then one night, Shiruba vanished. No trace. No warning. In his absence, something ancient returned. Drako, a creature of shadow and decay, rose from the forgotten edges of the world. Mountains split. Cities fell. The Ether faltered. What followed became known as the Great Catastrophe, a time of silence, destruction, and despair.

Now Skyland drifts. Wounded, scattered, and weary. The corruption left behind grows deeper each day, not only in the beasts that emerge from the dark but in the hearts of those who remain. Still, if you close your eyes, you might hear it, a quiet call from the winds above. Shiruba is not forgotten. The Ether still flows. And Skyland still waits for those with the courage to rise.
