Hello guys
First, I would like to thank you all for your support. I am thrilled to see many of you enjoying this story.
Next, I want to announce to you what I have decided.
Since you guys are enjoying this story, I decided to focus solely on working on it.
I made this decision so that I can upload a chapter every day for you all.
If I focus on another story alongside this one, I doubt I can upload a chapter every day. I am unlike those talented writers.
I hope everyone understands, but there is no need for concern. After I complete this story, I will start working on my other stories. This is a promise.
Finally, I have a question for all of you.
I researched the internet to check how long the Third Ninja War lasted. Some sources I found say it lasted 3-7 years and some sources say it lasted 4-7 years.
If any of you know the answer, please share your answer with me; it will be really helpful.
_________
With Yukina and Fuguki
Yukina and Fuguki were walking around Kiri. While they were walking, Fuguki handed Yukina a piece of paper.
Yukina was confused when she saw the paper. She grabbed the paper and looked at it in confusion.
The paper listed a number of shinobi tools like kunai, shurikens, explosive tags, steel wires, and many more.
Beside each item was a number, which confused Yukina more so she decided to ask Fuguki about this paper.
"Sensei, what's with this paper? Could you please explain why the names of various ninja tools are listed on it and why there are numbers next to each item?
Fuguki chuckled when he heard this and then he answered Yukina's question, saying, "The items listed in the paper are the standard ninja tools you need to carry whenever you go on a mission; however, the specific tools and their quantities may vary based on several factors."
Yukina was surprised to hear this, so she asked Fuguki, "What are those factors, sensei?"
Fuguki looked seriously at Yukina and said, "Those factors are the mission rank, the mission type, the number of your teammates, and the mission location."
Yukina nodded her head in understanding, but Fuguki then stated seriously to Yukina, "You must always keep in mind, girl, that missions could become unpredictable at any moment, so when you are carrying ninja tools, be sure to carry more than you think you need." These additional tools have the potential to save your life."
Yukina widened her eyes when she heard this and she nodded her head seriously to Fuguki.
Fuguki then continued his explanation: "The numbers next to the names of the ninja tools indicate the standard quantity of items I recommend carrying on a typical mission. However, as a shinobi, you must learn to make your own decisions; if you believe you need additional tools, feel free to acquire more."
Yukina nodded her head and said, "I will remember that, sensei."
Fuguki nodded his head in approval, and then the duo arrived in front of a weapon shop. The shop's name is Weapons Jackpot.
Upon reading the name of the weapon shop, Yukina burst into laughter. She turned to Fuguki and asked, "Sensei, what's with the shop's name?"
Fuguki chuckled when he heard this and said, "You weren't the first to comment on the name, girl; the whole village did."
Yukina giggled when she heard this, and then they both entered the shop.
_____
Inside weapons Jackpot
When Yukina and Fuguki entered the shop, she was amazed by all the weapons she saw .
There are countless weapons hanging on the wall, such as katanas, hammers, axes, chains, bows, arrows, and many more.
All these weapons' qualities were exceptional.
Fuguki then walked towards a room and Yuki followed him.
Fuguki opened the door, and when they entered the room, Yukina saw a muscular, tall, and hairy middle-aged man wielding a giant hammer.
The man was a bold man; he had a long black beard, sharp eyebrows, grey eyes, and tanned skin.
Yukina noticed that the muscular man was a blacksmith; he is currently forging a weapon and sweating profusely.
Yukina gave a small, unnoticeable smile upon seeing the man and thought to herself, "Oh my, that is quite a body this man has." He must be superior in bed to the men I had slept with in my previous life. Damn it, why am I still in a child's body? Is God playing a trick on me by preventing me from having fun with men?"
The man narrowed his eyes when he saw Fuguki entering the room and he yelled at him, "Damn it, Fuguki, how many times did I tell you not to enter the forging room? You're disturbing my work."
Fuguki scoffed upon hearing this and told the blacksmith, "I hate waiting. If I wait for you, I will be waiting for hours..."
The blacksmith was about to yell again, but he noticed Yukina in the room and asked Fuguki, "Who is this girl, Fuguki? Is she one of your illegitimate children?"
Yukina was surprised when she heard this, and she began to giggle internally while processing this new information.
"Oh, I didn't know that sensei is a player; things are getting really interesting." Yukina thought to herself while watching the argument unfolding in front of her.
Fuguki chuckled upon hearing the question and replied to the blacksmith, "No, she is not; her name is Yukina, and she is my new apprentice. She needs some ninja tools and shinobi attire for tomorrow."
The blacksmith nodded in understanding. He then stated to Fuguki, "Come after a few hours. Right now I am forging a katana from chakra metals. It took me a lot of effort to get these chakra metals. I will not stop my forging for your sake."
Fuguki widened his eyes in surprise when he heard this and he quickly said to the blacksmith, "Kan, state your price for the katana you are forging; I want it."
Yukina looked at Fuguki in confusion when she heard this, and Kan smirked when he saw Fuguki's reaction. He then stated to Fuguki, "How about we make a deal, Fuguki?" I heard that you have good relationship with some of the blacksmiths in the Land of Iron I want you to get some purple steel for me. I want a large quantity of this steel. If you agree to my deal, I'll give you this katana and let you buy whatever you want today for free. Do we have a deal?"
Fuguki smiled upon hearing this and nodded his head at Kan.
Kan smirked when he saw Fuguki agreeing to their deal. He then said to Fuguki, "Alright, Fuguki, wait outside for me. I will only cool down the metal, and I will be with you shortly."
Fuguki sighed in annoyance and nodded his head to Kan; then he and Yukina exited the forging room.
____
One hour later
Kan exited the forging room and he looked at Fuguki and Yukina. He then asked Yukina, "Girl, what ninja tools do you want? Make it quick; I need to continue forging that katana."
Yukina nodded. She handed Kan the piece of paper that Fuguki gave her earlier and she said to Kan, "I want the ninja tools that are listed in this paper; however, I want four times the quantities of those items than what the numbers mentioned in this paper are."
Kan grabbed the piece of paper and gazed at it quickly. He quickly nodded his head and said to Yukina, "No problem, girl. I like you. You are a straightforward girl, unlike your sensei."
When Fuguki heard this, black veins popped on his forehead and then he yelled at Kan, "What did you say, you bastard?"
Kan ignored Fuguki; he then called loudly," "Aya, come here, girl, and make it snappy."
Suddenly, a girl with brown hair tied in a bun, fair skin, an ordinary-looking face, and a slim physique walked out of one of the rooms in the shop.
The girl looks like a 13-year-old girl.
Kan pointed his finger at Yukina after Aya came out, and he said to her, "This girl needs shinobi attire." I want you to help her choose four suitable outfits for her."
While smiling, Aya nodded her head and replied to Kan, "Sure thing, Father."
Aya then turned to Yukina while smiling and politely said to her, "Please follow me."
Yukina nodded her head and she followed Aya to another section of the shop.
Fuguki looked at Kan with an unreadable expression after Aya and Yukina walked away.
Kan got annoyed after seeing Fuguki's expression, so he yelled at Fuguki, "What's with that look?"
When Fuguki heard Kan's question, he responded without hesitation, saying, "You were quite generous with my apprentice just now; that is quite rare for someone who loves money."
Kan burst out laughing when he heard this.
"HAHAHAHA."
After calming down, he said to Fuguki, "You have so much to learn about how businesses operate, Fuguki. When you treat a new customer well, the customer will come back and do business with you in the future. This is the fundamental rule."
Fuguki shook his head in amusement when he heard this.
_____
With Aya and Yukina
Aya and Yukina were talking as they walked to the shinobi clothing section.
Aya smiled enthusiastically at Yukina and she said to her, "You know, Yukina-chan, we should hang out when we have a chance. I really want to be friends with you."
"You seem like a fun girl to hang out with."
Yukina giggled when she heard this, and then the two girls arrived at the shinobi clothing section, where Aya began to look at Yukina with intense focus. After a few minutes, she gave a big smile and said to Yukina, "I got it. With your long, dark black hair, big, dark black eyes, fair white skin, and cute little face, dark-colored shinobi attire is best suited for you; it will make you look cute and pretty."
Yukina raised her eyebrows in amusement and she said to Aya, "You really know your stuff. You should become a fashion designer; you will do really well as one."
Aya was confused when she heard this and she asked Yukina, "What is a fashion designer?"
Yukina slapped herself mentally when she heard Aya's question: "Damn it, I forgot that, despite the fact that I am living in a magical world now, the society here is the same as ancient Japanese society." Everything here is far less advanced than the modern era I experienced in my past life."
When Yukina saw Aya's expectant gaze, she sighed and thought, "Well, I don't think sharing what a fashion designer is with Aya will hurt; it may be helpful for me in the future so I can attract more good-looking men to me and have fun with them."
After coming up with this conclusion, Yukina started explaining what a fashion designer is to Aya.
Aya's eyes shone with interest and enthusiasm the more she heard. She then exclaimed loudly to Yukina, "That is an incredible idea, Yukina-chan. I will start designing adorable outfits from today."
After making up her mind, Aya quickly started choosing shinobi attire for Yukina.
She grabbed four short konouichi kimonos with long sleeves. One was dark purple, another was dark red, the next was dark blue, and the final one was dark pink.
All the kimonos featured small white flower designs on the side, except for the red kimono, which had a black flower design.
Aya also grabbed four white and black sashes, four fishnet shirts and fishnet pants that cover the thighs, black shinobi sandals, and some bandages.
Yukina tried on her new shinobi clothes, and Aya clapped her hands happily when she saw how Yukina looked with her new outfits.
She then exclaimed to Yukina, "You look really good, Yukina-chan. You should choose these shinobi attires."
Yukina looked at her reflection in the mirror and she smiled in satisfaction. She then said to Aya, "You really have excellent taste, Aya-chan. I decided to choose these shinobi outfits."
Aya smiled happily after hearing this. She quickly wrapped Yukina's new shinobi outfits, and they left the shinobi clothing section.
_____
With Fuguki and Kan
After Yukina and Aya arrived, Yukina showed Fuguki her shinobi attire choices.
When Fuguki saw the clothes that Yukina chose, he nodded his head in approval at Yukina's choices.
Kan then gave Yukina her ninja tools and a free pouch. He then said to her, "This pouch is a gift from me. From now on you better buy your tools and weapons from here, girl."
Yukina giggled when she heard this and she said to Kan, "Don't worry, Uncle, I will buy whatever I need in the future from here."
Kan nodded his head in satisfaction after hearing this. He then looked at Fuguki and said, "When I finish forging the katana, I will send Aya to deliver it to you."
Fuguki nodded his head in satisfaction and said to Kan, "Alright, I will be waiting."
He then turned his head to Yukina and said to her, "Let's go, girl."
Yukina nodded; she bid farewell to Aya and left the shop.
_____
With Fuguki and Yukina
After they returned to the house, Yukina put her new shinobi attire and ninja tools away.
She and Fuguki then arrived in front of a waterfall.
Fuguki looked at the waterfall with nostalgia and said to Yukina, "When I was a genin, I used to train here all the time with my sensei."
Yukina looked at the waterfall in front of her. It was the biggest waterfall she had ever seen and it was very beautiful.
Fuguki then continued, "Girl, I will not be able to train you all the time because I am a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen. Eventually, I will be sent on high-ranking missions, so you must manage your time effectively while I'm away. I gave you the seven swordsmen badge earlier today; you can use this badge and study in the library to improve yourself while I am away."
"I will also show you the first exercise you need to master to master your water element affinity."
"So that when I am away, you can work on mastering your water element affinity..."
Yukina was surprised when she heard this and she looked at Fuguki in excitement. She then exclaimed loudly to him, "Really, Sensei?"
Fuguki nodded. He walked on the lake and said to Yukina, "You have as much chakra as a Chunin, which is quite impressive for an 8-year-old girl."
"When you master your affinities in the future, your chakra control will improve by leaps and bounds since chakra nature transformation exercises are considered high-level chakra control exercises."
"When you master your water element affinity, you will be able to execute water ninjutsu faster, with more proficiency, and with more power."
"If you hone the water element further, you will be way more superior than other shinobi who just mastered the water element. For example, you can execute high-ranking water jutsu with fewer hand seals than others."
Yukina was shocked upon hearing this and Fuguki continued, "However, mastering elements is not an easy feat. Some shinobi take years to master an element. It took me 7 months of dedicated training to master my water element affinity, so I recommend preparing yourself accordingly."
Yukina nodded her head seriously after hearing this. Then Fuguki bent down, laid his hand on the lake's surface, and said, "The first exercise for mastering the water element is that you will need to create ripples around the lake by using only your chakra." Imagine your chakra as calm as water; this is the trick."
After saying this, the lake water suddenly started rippling violently, which stunned Yukina.
Fuguki then stood up and said, "You will be training here until the sunset. Now get to work.
Yukina nodded to Fuguki, then she walked on the lake, bent down, laid her palm on the lake surface and closed her eyes after taking a deep breath to calm herself.
"My chakra needs to be calm like water." Yukina reminded herself in her mind.
Not far away, Fuguki sat on the ground, grabbed a bottle of sake and started drinking while paying rapid attention to Yukina.
Yukina started attempting to create ripples around the lake, but there was no luck.
However, after only 10 minutes, Yukina started creating tiny ripples on the lake where her palm was positioned.
Fuguki dropped his sake bottle when he saw the tiny ripples that Yukina created; his eyes widened in shock, and his mouth opened in disbelief.
Yukina didn't notice Fuguki's expression at all and continued to perform the exercise with total concentration.
Fuguki stared at Yukina like he was looking at a freak, and he started doubting his life. He then thought to himself, "It took me an entire month to start creating tiny ripples on the lake. My sensei back then praised me for creating those tiny ripples and said to me that I had outstanding talent in ninjutsu, but this girl managed to create those tiny ripples in just 10 minutes. This girl is absolutely ridiculous; she is a true freak."
He then started looking at Yukina in envy and said to himself, "Why are the gods unfair to me?"
Yukina was unaware of the turmoil she had caused in Fuguki's heart, and she continued to train her water element.
With each attempt, the ripples that Yukina created became more powerful.
After three hours, the sun started to set and Fuguki stood up. He then said to Yukina, "That's enough for today, girl. You need to rest; your body needs to be in top shape for tomorrow's mission."
Yukina nodded her head in understanding, and then they both walked back to the house.
