A forced evolution
"Mom, I need to give you something."
"What is it?"
I asked her, but in reality I imagined what it could be.
Eris started climbing up to the ceiling and walked in the direction of the moon.
Since she is a spider. I think it was normal for her to be able to walk upside down like it was nothing, but it still amazed me. Once she was on the moon, she lowered herself to gather something I could not see clearly, but I thought it was another orb.
"Here, this is for you."
"What is it?"
"It's the weapon you were looking for. When you touched the shining orb, this small golden ball was left behind."
"But what makes you think it is the weapon I was looking for?"
"Well, because I was there when you forged it. Normally it would not allow anyone to wield it, much less even hold it for this much time; even now its weight is rapidly growing."
"What do I have to do?"
I asked as I took the orb from Eris, who looked like she could not hold the orb's weight any further.
