After the brutal battle against the Soul Knights,
Kaelion, Sylena, and Raik find a hidden cave in the forest to rest.
The atmosphere is tense.
Kaelion feels ashamed.
He fought hard — but he knows deep down he wasn't strong enough to protect everyone.
While Raik patches himself up, Sylena stands outside the cave, staring into the night sky filled with heavy clouds.
Kaelion walks up to her, fists clenched.
"Sylena..." he says.
"I need to be stronger."
"I need to fight them. I need to fight the Soul King someday. I can't just keep running."
Sylena turns her head slightly, her silver hair catching the moonlight.
"You're strong, Kaelion." she says.
"But strength without control is just recklessness."
She pauses.
Then her stormy eyes narrow.
"I'll teach you."
Kaelion's heart pounds.
Training Begins
Sylena starts by teaching Kaelion how to truly connect with the Earth Stone inside him.
"Your Stone isn't just a tool, Kaelion."
"It's alive. It listens. But only if you learn to speak its language."
The first exercise is brutal:
Kaelion must try to sense the earth around him — not just stomp it, but feel it breathing, feel its weight, feel its emotions.
At first, Kaelion struggles.
He tries to force the earth to move.
"You're fighting it!" Sylena shouts.
"You have to flow with it, like you're part of it. Become the stone."
Hours pass.
Kaelion sweats.
Bleeds.
Fails.
Gets slammed into trees by his own uncontrolled stone attacks.
But he refuses to quit.
The Breakthrough
Late into the night, Kaelion sits alone.
He stares at the rough earth under his hands, battered and tired.
He breathes deeply.
He stops commanding the stone — and instead, he listens.
And then...
he feels it.
A deep pulse.
A heavy, steady heartbeat of the earth itself.
Thud... thud... thud...
Kaelion places his palms on the ground.
"I don't control you..." he whispers.
"We move together."
The stone rises — smoothly, naturally — shaping into a massive stone gauntlet around Kaelion's arm.
For the first time, he has truly fused with the Earth Stone's power.
Sylena watches from a distance, smiling slightly.
"You did it, Kaelion."
Raik, grinning, calls out:
"Took ya long enough, rookie!"
Kaelion stands tall, the new stone weapon gleaming in the moonlight.
"This time... I'll protect the people I care about."
The next time he faces the Soul King's forces...
he'll be ready.
Or at least — closer than ever before.
