The End and the Beginning
[Narration: No One's POV]
Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games, or DMMO-RPGs for short, are a type of game that allows players to fully immerse themselves in a fantasy world. Among them, one game stood above the rest: Yggdrasil, released in 2126. It featured an expansive world map and an unprecedented level of player freedom. These features, among others, made it a standout title in Japan and garnered a massive following.
Now, after 12 years of operation, Yggdrasil is coming to an end.
[3rd Person POV]
A band of adventurers treks through the treacherous swamps surrounding the Great Tomb of Nazarick. As they approach its ominous gates, the ground quakes—an army of undead rises to greet them.
Blades clash, axes swing, spells fly. The adventurers carve a path through the undead, barely catching their breath. As they look up toward the archways of the tomb, a dark silhouette appears. The figures of the entire guild stand above, led by their master.
The adventurers realize too late—they've entered a raid zone.
Massive demonic wings unfold behind the guild members. Thunder cracks across the sky.
[Time Skip]
The adventurers lie broken, defeated—either out of HP or unconscious. The camera pans up slowly to reveal Momonga, the guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown, watching from above. He chuckles at the feeble attempt to challenge Nazarick.

[3rd Person POV]
"Yeah... it was a blast."
Momonga sits alone in the meeting room on the 12th floor of Nazarick. Beside him is a slime-like creature—HeroHero.
HeroHero: "Hey! Been a while, hasn't it, Momonga?"
Momonga: "Sure has. Honestly, I didn't expect you to log in. It's been... what? A couple of years?"
HeroHero: "No way! That long...? Damn, I guess I've been working so much, I lost all track of time."
Just then, the doors to the room creak open. A tall figure enters—his long silver hair flowing like moonlight, clad in elegant armor with a cold, regal air.
[Sesshōmaru's POV]
I enter the room and find my old comrades—Satoru Suzuki (Momonga), and HeroHero.
"Momonga. HeroHero. I see I'm not the only one drawn to the final hour."
Momonga: "Of course I'm on. I'm always here when I'm not at work."
HeroHero: "Didn't expect to see you, Sesshōmaru. Been a long time..."
I glance at HeroHero, noting the fatigue in his voice.
"You've overworked yourself again, haven't you?"
HeroHero (emoji 😓 appears): "Yeah... I know you're right, Sesshōmaru. I appreciate the concern."
"Even demons know when to rest. You should too."
Momonga: "It's not healthy. You've got to take care of yourself, man."
HeroHero: "I feel like my avatar—drained and sluggish."
I raise a brow, expression impassive. "Then perhaps you should stop acting like slime and stand tall once in a while."
HeroHero: "Ouch!" laughs "Still sharp-tongued as ever. Guess that cold exterior of yours hides a warm center after all."
Momonga: "Sesshōmaru's just being honest. That's why we always relied on him."
HeroHero: "You've always been the spine of this guild. Guess it's no surprise you showed up for the end."
I don't reply immediately. Instead, I cross my arms, silver eyes narrowed.
HeroHero: "Well, I should go. I'm spent."
Momonga: "Get some rest, Hero."
HeroHero: "Wish I could stay longer. Momonga, Sesshōmaru... thank you. I mean it. For everything. You both kept this place alive."
Momonga: "We all did it together."
HeroHero: "Yeah... it was fun. I'm going to miss it."
As the farewell lingers in the room, I lower my gaze slightly, silent.
(Twelve years. That's how long I've walked in this artificial world. And yet… here, I felt purpose. Even now, with the end near, I will remain beside the one I chose to follow.)
[SLAM]
Momonga's clenched fist strikes the table, drawing my attention. I know what he's thinking.
He looks at me.
Momonga: "Sesshōmaru. May I take the guild staff with me? Will you join me in the throne room?"
I step forward, resting a hand on his shoulder. My voice is low but firm.
"You are my lord. From the moment we swore our bond, I've stood at your side. That will not change. Not now. Not ever."
He gives a rare, soft smile.
Momonga: "Thank you, Sesshōmaru."
He takes the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown in hand, and we leave the meeting room together.
Absolutely! Below is the revised version of your chapter, with Sparda replaced by Sesshōmaru from Inuyasha. I've updated his dialogue, demeanor, and characterization to reflect his personality: stoic, prideful, elegant, and overwhelmingly powerful—with subtle layers of emotion beneath his cold exterior.
Instead of answering, I simply wrap my arm around him and say quietly,
"Yes, it's fine. And… Momonga. From the moment we met, I have stood by your side. I will remain there—even at the end."
He chuckles, then reaches for the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown and begins walking to the door. I follow, silent and poised.
As we descend the steps, the Pleiades and Sebas await us in perfect formation. I glance at Momonga and notice his attention fixed on Sebas.
"What is it you intend, Momonga?"
He turns his gaze to me.
Momonga: "Should we have them accompany us? One final walk of freedom?"
I give a small nod, expression unreadable.
"Let them walk the tomb. As is their right."
"Follow me," Momonga commands.
We head for the throne room. The air grows heavier with each step. When we reach the massive double doors—one side etched with a demon, the other an angel—I pause briefly.
Inside, the throne awaits us, towering beneath the banners of each guild member. Behind it, a single sigil—mine—glows faintly, as though aware that I still stand.
Before the throne, I turn to the Pleiades.
"Remain here. Await the word of your Overlord."
They bow and move aside. I hear Momonga behind me, calling up Albedo's data. His eyes narrow.
Momonga: "She's... a bitch?"
I raise an eyebrow.
"Tabula was eccentric."
Momonga: "Sesshōmaru… mind if I adjust her programming?"
I give him a sidelong glance.
"Do as you will. You are the ruler here."
He inputs the changes, then nods. I turn toward the Guardians.
"Kneel before your Overlord."
They drop in perfect synchronization. My eyes scan the banners again before I speak.
"Fitting… the legacy of our kind remains written in these stones."
Momonga: "Sesshōmaru… it's been… quite a journey."
I incline my head slightly.
"A journey worth remembering."

So it begins…
We are still here.
Momonga: "Sesshōmaru… I cannot open the console. I cannot contact the GMs. You?"
I test it, then respond with a single word.
"No."
Albedo steps forward, tilting her head in concern.
Albedo: "Is something the matter, Lord Momonga? Lord Sesshōmaru?"
Momonga remains silent. Albedo clasps her hands to her chest.
Albedo: "If something has occurred, I beg you to command me. I live to serve."
Her eyes flicker toward me—devotion bleeding from her every movement. A faint green glow wraps around Momonga.
Momonga: "The GM call magic… it doesn't respond."
Albedo steps back, bowing in sorrow.
Albedo: "Forgive me, my lords. I do not understand this… 'magic.' I have failed you."
I raise a hand.
"Sebas."
Sebas: "My lord?"
"Exit the Tomb. Assess our surroundings. Report upon return."
Sebas: "At once, Lord Sesshōmaru."
Momonga: "Pleiades, to the ninth floor. Terminate intruders."
I add:
"And summon all floor Guardians—excluding those of the fourth and eighth floors—to the sixth-floor Arena."
Yuri Alpha: "As you command, my lords."
As they leave, I feel Albedo's gaze linger on me.
Albedo: "Lord Sesshōmaru… have you need of me?"
I glance at Momonga. He avoids my gaze. I sigh.
"Approach."
She obeys swiftly, standing mere inches from me.
Albedo: "Your will is my desire~"
Her scent is intoxicating, but I retain control. I speak softly.
"May I touch you?"
Albedo: "Yes!"
I gently take her hand, watching her tremble beneath my touch. I lean forward, lips brushing against her throat. She gasps.
Albedo: "Please… take me… make me yours. Mark me as your mate~"
I pull away, leaving a faint mark—a hickey glowing against her flawless skin.
(Disgraceful, Tabula. You made her irresistible on purpose.)
Albedo: "Even in Lord Momonga's presence… I want you. I need you."
I turn to Momonga, who pretends to be elsewhere.
Momonga: "Now isn't the time. Albedo, proceed to the sixth floor."
Albedo: "Y-Yes, Lord Momonga!"
She flees. I face him.
"You altered her settings. I assume… she is now in love with me."
Momonga scratches his skull sheepishly.
Momonga: "Sorry. I thought it'd be funny… and fitting. We're friends, right?"
I turn away.
"Friends do not conceal intentions. But I am not offended. Merely… disappointed."
Momonga: "Let's… go to the sixth floor?"
I nod curtly, eyes on the ring.
Momonga: "Let's test them."
I speak a single word:
"Teleport."
We appear just outside the Colosseum.
Momonga: "So… rings still function."
"Hmm."
Inside, the Arena looms ahead.
Momonga: "The dark elf twins dwell here. Bukubukuchagama's creations."
"They are late."
Suddenly—
Crash!
Aura lands dramatically, smiling as she flashes a peace sign.
Aura: "Crushed it!"
I raise an eyebrow.
Momonga: "Aura."
She zips to us and bows low.
Aura: "Welcome, Lords Sesshōmaru and Momonga!"
Momonga: "We won't linger."
Aura: "You're never intruders. This tomb belongs to you."
I glance upward.
"Mare. Cease hiding. Present yourself."
Aura: "Mare! Don't make me drag you down!"
Mare: "I-I'm scared…"
I step forward, voice firm.
"Mare. I will catch you. You will not fall."
Mare: "O-O-Okay!"
He jumps.
I catch him with ease, lifting him like one would a feather. My yokai aura flares momentarily.
"You see? No harm comes under my protection."
Mare buries his face in my shoulder, trembling.
"Fear has no place in this tomb. You are family here."
Momonga: "That's oddly gentle of you."
I say nothing.
As we reach the floor again, I set Mare down and kneel before him.
"Unforgivable."
Mare flinches.
I grip his chin, gently raising it.
"When you believe yourself guilty of something you never did."
Momonga: "Now then. Aura, Mare—I have a task for you..."
(They fight. As expected. Precision. Control. The fire elemental obeys them as if it were born to.)
(My thoughts drift. E-Rantel. Preparations. That human child… Ninya. I will not let her death be in vain.)
Ping.
{Sesshōmaru?}
{Hmm?}
Momonga: {Testing Message. Works well. You're still with me as counselor?}
{I said I would remain. I do not break oaths.}
Momonga: {Right… I'll contact Sebas.}
(He forgets—I am always watching.)
As the twins finish, they approach us, smiling.
Momonga: "Impressive."
Aura: "That was fun!"
I ruffle their hair—lightly.
"Well done. Continue to protect this domain."
Momonga: "Thirsty?"
He offers drinks from his inventory. They accept eagerly.
Aura: "You're not scary like I thought."
I incline my head.
"I am Sesshōmaru. Terror is a choice I grant selectively."
Momonga: "Oh, I can be terrifying if I want."
Aura: "Please don't!"
Then the gate creaks.
Shalltear: "My, my~ Am I the first?"
(Step by step, this world shall know…)
THE NAME OF SESSHŌMARU.
