Chapter 26 - EPISODE 26 — “He Has Awakened”

The Battlefield Roars, Then Falls Silent

The battlefield, once shrouded in terror, now erupts into wild cheers. Werner's soldiers stand frozen, overwhelmed by disbelief. Dust rises, blood settles—and the impossible has happened.

Anchor (voice trembling through a global broadcast):

"This… this is an unbelievable turn in the fate of Zius! The Monster King… Werner… has fallen!"

In the center of the ruin, Werner's body lies broken. Coughing blood, he looks at Sang, a trace of fear in his fading eyes.

Werner (gasping):

"You're… from… them… aren't you…?"

His body disintegrates into ash, carried away by the wind. Silence follows.

Sang's Collapse

Sang, blood dripping, slowly walks toward his allies. His aura flickers—like a storm calming. One step. Another. His group watches in stunned reverence, but as the last flicker of aura vanishes…

Thud.

Sang collapses mid-step.

Sylin (sprinting to him, panicked):

"We need to take him right now! He's not okay!"

The team rushes to Sang's side—except Zoick and Rakhad, who remain still, thoughts echoing Eldrin's cryptic words.

Invitation to the Palace

Just then, a dignified elder of Zius steps forward, eyes filled with respect.

Elder:

"If you do not mind… you may take him to our palace. He deserves far more than battlefield dust."

The group nods. Carrying Sang's unconscious body, they follow the elder across the torn land—toward a forgotten throne.

The Castle That Remembers

The group steps inside the mysterious castle. Its walls hum with ancient energy. But one among them—an old man—begins trembling uncontrollably.

Arkhar (frowning):

"What's wrong, old man?"

Teenage girl (glancing at the big picture):

"Wait… who's this place belong to?"

Old Man (voice shaking):

"This castle… it belongs to him."

A heavy silence blankets the room. Shock widens everyone's eyes. No one dares to speak—but everyone feels it.

The Court in Confusion

Back in the Nexus Court, tension is thick.

Threxius (baffled):

"What are you even talking about? And what is this 'Kthai Clan'?"

The court murmurs. Then, an old monster—scars across his chest—rises slowly from his seat.

Old Monster (gravely):

"The Kthai Clan… was the most powerful clan to ever walk the realms. They were called… The Undefeatable Ones. No creature—be it human, demon, or monster—dared stand against them, When there lived"

Kaelthor (narrowing his eyes):

"When there lived . What do you mean? Where are they now?"

Old Monster:

"They are… extinct."

General:

"How could a clan like that… vanish?"

Another elder demon stands, eyes filled with sorrow.

Elder Demon:

"Betrayal."

Vilgrim (frowning):

"Betrayal…? By whom?"

Another Elder (softly):

"By their own blood. The final generation of the Kthai… was betrayed from within."

Gasps echo across the hall. Whispers rise. Doubt creeps in.

The Wasteland Awakens

Deep in the desolate wasteland, within the darkened cave of obsidian, Buruso kneels before the one shrouded in black flame—Monster Majesty.

Buruso (urgently):

"Majesty… we detected an abnormal aura. Unlike anything before. And… another signal—the aura of the Monster King. Werner."

He hesitates, then bows lower.

Buruso:

"He was… defeated. No—killed. By an unknown force."

Monster Majesty's eyes glow beneath his mask. A grin appears faintly on his monstrous face.

Monster Majesty (calmly, with authority):

"I told you before, Buruso. My assumptions… were right."

He clenches his clawed fist, his voice low and thunderous.

"He has… awakened."

The Castle's Forgotten Truth

Back at the castle, the group is speechless. Time itself feels frozen—until Arkhar breaks the silence.

Arkhar (confused):

"If this place belongs to him… then why were you—"

Old Man (interrupting, solemnly):

"If he has awakened… then the war is near. The true war."

Eyes narrow. Hearts pound. The camera pans up to the sky—storm clouds gathering as distant lightning cracks.
