Chapter 13 - Episode 13 – The Awakening That Shakes Realms

A Battlefield Stained with Fear

Silence engulfed the battlefield. The air was thick with the scent of blood, fear lingering like a heavy fog. Every eye was fixed on Sang-Jaey, who stood amidst the lifeless body of Raze. His breathing was steady, but his expression showed only confusion.

Around him, Kwan, Zoick, Rakhad, Lee, and Shine stood frozen. Their faces were pale, their minds struggling to process what had just happened.

Rakhad's voice trembled as he stepped forward.

Rakhad: "Wait… what did you just say?"

Sang turned his gaze towards them, his crimson and black eyes flickering under the dim light.

Sang-Jaey: "Who… is he?"

His words sent a wave of shock through the group.

Zoick: "What? You mean… you don't even know who you killed?"

The weight of the situation crashed down on them. A terrifying realization settled in—Sang-Jaey had ended Raze's life without hesitation, without knowledge, without even understanding who he was.

Before anyone could say another word, an old voice broke the silence.

A Name from the Past – Eldrin's Arrival

From the shadows, a man stepped forward. His long silver hair swayed with the wind, his aged eyes carrying wisdom and reverence. Without hesitation, he dropped to one knee before Sang-Jaey.

Eldrin (kneeling): "My lord… you have returned."

Sang took a step back, his brows furrowing.

Sang-Jaey: "Who are you, old man?"

The man remained bowed.

Eldrin: "I am Eldrin, your well-wisher… the one who has awaited your return for an eternity."

Sang scoffed, exhaling sharply.

Sang-Jaey: "Tch… you're mistaken. My name is Sang-Jaey. Stop calling me 'lord.'"

Eldrin raised his head slightly, his eyes filled with unwavering loyalty.

Eldrin: "Forgive me, but I cannot."

Sang clenched his fists but sighed.

Sang-Jaey: "Fine… suit yourself. Now tell me—who was he?" (gesturing towards Raze's corpse)

Eldrin's expression darkened.

Eldrin: "He was from the Abyssal Nexus."

The moment those words left his lips, the entire group tensed.

Sang-Jaey (frowning): "Abyssal… Nexus? Never heard of it."

Eldrin's gaze sharpened.

Eldrin: "Then listen carefully, my lord. The Abyssal Nexus is a court that houses both demons and monsters—beings who hold no mercy, no compassion. Their hearts are as cold as stone, their existence driven only by destruction and conquest. These creatures follow their own lords, beings who rule with absolute terror."

Sang's heart pounded. Even the others around him, battle-hardened as they were, felt a chill crawl down their spines.

Sang-Jaey: "And… who are these lords?"

Eldrin straightened his back, his voice heavy with caution.

Eldrin: "The Demon Lord, Threxius Zykor. The Monster Lord, Kaelthor Vaelstrix. And the true ruler of the Nexus… The Third King, Vilgrim Xyphor."

The mere mention of those names sent a tremor through the group. Sang swallowed hard.

Sang-Jaey: "And why are you telling me this?"

Eldrin's eyes darkened.

Eldrin: "Because they are all after you."

Sang's breath hitched. A wave of shock, disbelief, and unease surged through him.

Zoick: "Wait… what do you mean they're after him?"

Eldrin exhaled, his gaze unwavering.

Eldrin: "Because the Xyphor Clan—the second strongest clan in all realms—seeks an opportunity to seize ultimate power. And my sources tell me… that they fear you."

The moment hung heavy in the air.

Kwan: "Then… which is the strongest clan?"

Eldrin hesitated. His lips parted.

Eldrin: "It is the—"

Before he could finish, Sang interrupted.

Sang-Jaey: "Forget that. Just tell me how to get rid of them."

Eldrin's expression grew grim.

Eldrin: "You don't. You can't escape them. They have already set their eyes on your presence. Until the day you die, they will never leave you alone."

The weight of those words pressed against Sang's chest. He clenched his jaw.

Sang-Jaey: "Then… what do I need to do?"

Eldrin's gaze softened for a moment before hardening with resolve.

Eldrin: "You need to train. You must become strong enough to face them."

Sang's body tensed. His knees buckled, and for the first time, a feeling he had not experienced in a long time settled deep within him—overwhelming helplessness.

Rakhad scoffed.

Rakhad: "Hah! Are you serious, Teacher? This weakling? He can't even defend himself properly. You expect him to fight against beings like them?"

Eldrin's expression darkened.

Eldrin (growling): "Shut up, Rakhad! You have no idea who he is."

With that, Eldrin turned and walked away.

Zoick smirked as he watched Sang's stunned expression.

Zoick: "Well, well… not feeling like the chosen one now, huh?"

Kwan: "Yeah, quite the bad luck."

Shine: "His path is full of hurdles… Poor guy."

Lee: "I almost feel bad for him."

Sang gritted his teeth, his mind spiraling.

Sang-Jaey (thinking): "What… am I?"

A Message That Shakes the Cosmos

Eldrin slowly raised his wrist, activating a glowing symbol of fire on his skin. A holographic projection formed, pulsing with energy.

A message was sent.

To the Followers of Shammroy—those who had waited for their lord's return.

But at the same time… the message echoed across the cosmos.

To those who sought revenge against Shammroy.

The Court Trembles – A Demon's Last Words

Far away, within the Nexus Court, a message arrived from the deceased Raze.

The high-ranking members of the court gathered, watching as his final words echoed through the chamber.

Raze's voice, weak and broken, struggled through the static.

Raze: "He is… not human… not ghost… not magic… He is… the demon…"

The transmission cut off.

Silence.

The court, once filled with arrogance and laughter, was now drowning in disbelief.

The leaders looked at each other, confusion creeping into their faces.

Nexus General: "What… does he mean?"

They had no answers.

They had no idea who "he" was.

And for now… they believed it was some creature that was slaughtering their kind.

The Monster majesty Awakens

Far away, in a desolate wasteland, a massive cavern lay hidden beneath the sand.

Inside, countless monsters kneeled in obedience.

At the very end, a monstrous figure towered over them, hammering down on a glowing blade, forging it in molten flames.

A frantic monster rushed through the chamber, pushing past the kneeling creatures, until he finally approached the colossal figure.

Monster Messenger (panting): "Your Majesty… He is awakened."

The hammer paused.

The figure remained silent for a moment.

Then—

A deep, guttural laugh echoed through the cavern, shaking the very ground.

Monster majesty(unknown): "Finally… The time has arrived."

The blade in his hands gleamed under the firelight.

Monster majesty (unknown): "The long - time battle… is about to begin."

The screen fades to black
