Chapter 46 - "What if Leo is JD?" Chapter 46

I walk out of the college gates and walk to the parking lot and get inside my car casually and drive away calmly, and I notice how Jessica gave up on stalking me, thankfully, or I would have to do some things to get her off my tail.

I lean back and speak in a calm tone, "Hey, Ava, drive to the wooden house. And also give me an update on the company building and the game Minecraft. How is it coming?" I lean back, and on the dashboard the screen lights up and Ava speaks.

Ava speaks fast. "Affirmative, Leo. I'm en route to the wooden house now—ETA approximately 4 minutes at current speed and traffic conditions.

New Company "Mojang" Status: Yes, you officially incorporated Mojang Studios, LLC yesterday at 14:37 local time. Tax ID and bank account are active; initial capital infusion of $250,000 has been wired. Your trademark application for the Mojang logo is pending with the USPTO, serial number 98-765 432."

As I hear Ava's updates, I lean back and pull the seat back. As Ava auto-drives, I fold my arms and smile. Yes, I did actually buy a plot of land on Park Avenue in New York. It will be where the headquarters of Mojang will be and also my first actual property. That I will own honestly will be a big starting point to making more money. After this, I will make an actual building for Game Freak, and once that's done, both of my companies will be as real as anything else. They will be making money and have a real headquarters…

And from then I can start washing black money if I get a large amount of it… Plus, it's also how I step my foot down as Leo. Ahhh, it's about time I stopped being a casual college student. I will pass out from college before the end of this year anyway, so these 2 companies will work as a great cover-up for me. I'll be working there—a good cover-up story if something does go wrong…

Plus, this is also a good way I can explain to Abby how I have all of this money, and I also could get her out of that old apartment. Sure, it's cozy, but it's old. Really, Abby needs to live in a better place…

Ah, I am thinking of track… "Ah, ok, Ava, and what about Frank? Where is he right now give me a quick update" I spoke in a calm tone, and the dashboard lights up again, and Ava speaks.

"Frank Castle Confirmed. Tracking signal reestablished via roadside surveillance, credit trail, and internal security from the "Forest View Motel," rural Ohio sector. Frank Castle is currently registered under a false identity—"Pete Castiglione"—but face recognition confirms a 98.7% match.

Location:

Room 6B, Forest View Motel. No additional guests registered to the room.

Status:

Frank Castle is inside the motel room with one female—identity confirmed as Amy Bendix, approximately 16-18 years old, traveling under multiple forged aliases including "Rachel."

• Frank retrieved Amy from an armed altercation in a bar ~10 hours ago.

• Motel security footage confirms she attempted to flee twice.

• Visual timestamped logs indicate her hands were bound briefly with duct tape—later removed.

• Amy is confined but not injured.

• Frank remains alert; he has not left the room for the past 42 minutes.

• He's watching the window, cleaning a sidearm (SIG Sauer P226), and monitoring exterior activity.

Threat Analysis:

• Two unidentified assailants tracked Amy to the motel and engaged Frank earlier tonight.

• Frank neutralized both attackers—security camera angles confirmed double homicide in the parking lot, bodies removed by Frank post-incident.

• No law enforcement presence on site as of now—Frank appears to be avoiding local authorities."

'Hmm, I see, so this is where they are at this point in the story. This should be Punisher's second season. Yeah, something somewhere between 1 and 2 episodes. Yea, somewhere along those lines, Frank should find Amy and find the gang after they beat her up and took her away for Amy's own safety. The plot is running smoothly. Uh, now how should I help Frank out?

Should I kill Billy? or just give Frank tips about everything… The real question is how far do I go? Right now I am not scared of anyone, but still my foundation is not stable enough that I could just go and fight against anything and take what I want…

No, no, the way I think is wrong. I am thinking like I am in the place of power… The Omnitrix and the powers of Iron Fist and the Ten Rings have given me a lot of safety, huh… almost too much to the point I was actually starting to think I was all-powerful there for a second…

Ah, I should be thinking in the most dirty way, thinking in a way where this can profit me…'

The car stops outside the mansion, and I step out and walk inside the mansion casually. The door opens without me needing to push the doors open… And I walk inside and speak, "Hey, Ava, could you order me some pizza? And also tell me what you think about Frank."

And as I sat down on the couch, I heard Ava's voice.

"Me? I think both of them need help, or at least they need someone to keep their eyes on Frank Castle. I don't know why you know him, sir, but he is very dangerous. He is the Punisher who came up in the news a few months ago. He has killed a lot of people, and for his actions, some people view him as a hero, while some view him as a monster…"

I smile and speak. "Oh, really? Well, what do you think? Huh, killing bad people, how do you feel about it?"

"I am somewhere in the gray area. Sir, I do believe some humans have done things they should be punished for, but at the same time, shooting everyone who sells illegal drugs just to feed their families or someone who has done a crime without meaning to do it…

For people like that, I feel it's unfair. Honestly, I don't think what Frank Castle does is wrong; I just think he should not get the right to choose who is innocent and who is not. So overall, my answer is 'I don't like Frank Castle.' You should stay away from him, sir; he could be a bad influence. Even if he does good, the way he does it is not right."

Hmm, wow, what a viewpoint, huh? Truly a smart AI, Ava notices how effective it is to kill the criminals, but she also notices that killing people is not really the right thing because what is the difference between a bad person and a good person? Sometimes the line is too thin, so in this way Frank Castle is wrong… Ah, why did no one bring up this point in the show? It's not like Frank is 100% sure of who is a criminal. And who is not? I wonder how many people Frank killed who are actually innocent?

Well, I don't really care about that. Honestly, I have still not killed someone in this world, nor will I try to. I try to keep my hands clean for many reasons… Plus, what do I think about the Punisher's ways? Well, I think he is right but wrong. Killing people would clean this world for sure, but killing the root cause of the problem would be much easier and more efficient. Like killing gang members? Why don't you just kill the head of the gangs and scare them? Problem solved. No need to kill tens of people…

Or if the problem is with the drugs, just kill the guy who brings the drugs into the country again. Easier solution than killing tens or hundreds of people… Not only that, it would be pretty much more effective to spread more fear about drugs and how bad being in a gang is; that would also do wonders. Nowadays, people listen to their phones more than they do their own mothers…

Ah, making this world a better place… It's honestly not that hard, but why should I? I am no hero. Unless I get something out of my actions, I won't be doing something stupid like making Ava spread fear on the internet about drugs and gangs… That would be stupid; I would be pretty much leaving behind a footprint that someone else could track…

And I know I can't hide forever, but I like to expose myself to the world when I am ready and on my own terms. Plus, looking at my growth speed, at this rate I will be well exposing myself to the world at the near end of this year or the start of the next year. Ah, but that's planning for the future.

I have done the 3 goals I made for myself at the start back in 2006…

My first goal was to get rid of the limiter of the Omnitrix, and I've done that…

My second goal was to build a body and have a weapon that was not the Omnitrix. I have done that with the Ten Rings, and even though I have not built a super body with science, I have used chi to make my body stronger than the normal humans…

My third goal was to build a foundation for a good life that won't be affected much by this world, and I have not done that but am sort of there with my two companies coming around…

And by the end of this year, I should have done all my 3 main goals, plus I have done other things too, like getting control of my life, going to college, meeting Jessica, leaving seeds in her mind, and kidnapping Kilgrave as a useful test subject… and much more. Oh, it's here…

"Ting," "Ting."

I rise from my seat and stroll over to the door to retrieve the pizza. After closing the door behind me, I make my way to the couch, opening the box. As I casually begin to enjoy a slice, I speak.

"Hey, Ava, get me everything about a man that goes by 'John Pilgrim.'" It's fine if you don't find much about him, but I do want everything about Anderson Schultz and his family."

..

.

On the other hand, Jessica was in her room; she was doing her homework and also, well, just a little bit of snooping around…

Ah, what the hell…?

Ok, well, since Leo is weird and not normal, I did some looking up on his car's license plate, and well… It's under a company named 'GameFreak'...

The Game Freak! Like what? the one that made those big games on the phone, like 'Subway Surfers!' and 'Candy Crush!'—like two games everyone and their moms are playing nowadays…

So now, once again, what the hell? Why is Leo's car's license plate under 'GameFreak'? Does he work for that company or something? But that's well impossible. because there are no other employees that have shown up or confirmed to work for 'GameFreak' in the first place…

The only thing I can find out is that the person who owns this company is 'JD,' which is just a pseudonym…

'GameFreak' itself is a pretty weird company, because it just came about one day and threw itself into the gaming world and destroyed pretty much all mobile games nowadays…

A company that came out of nowhere with a game that took the world by storm… Not only that, 'JD,' there is nothing about them on the net other than some people making up theories like 'JD' is just a genius coder that made a few games for fun or 'JD' is some rich guy's son who made a company and games just for fun…

"But what the fuck is the link between this company and Leo? Why is his car licensed under that? company? and how?"

And after thinking for a few seconds, a stupid question comes to Jessica's mind…

"What if Leo is JD?"
